At OVHcloud, reliability of our services and respect for our commitments to customers are taken very seriously.

We are truly sorry that you experienced issues with your server and that you felt the refund would not be processed; we fully understand the frustration of paying for a service you consider unusable.

After reviewing your case, the server was started in rescue mode and no hardware issue was detected, with the outage being related to the software configuration.

Your cancellation request has been validated and the corresponding refund has been initiated on your OVHcloud account, with the possibility to transfer it to your bank account according to the procedure available in your control panel; if have any questions, we invite you to contact us again so we can help you better understand the procedure.

We remain at your disposal to clarify any outstanding points and to improve your experience with us.

As stated in our general terms and conditions of sale and our contracts, the information you need to enter into an OVHcloud Control Panel must be precise and verifiable, in order to ensure the security of your accounts and transactions: https://www.ovhcloud.com/en-ie/terms-and-conditions/contracts/

During an identity check, if the information entered in the OVHcloud Control Panel is non-compliant or incomplete, we ask our customers to update this information.

However, if no regularization is implemented, we close the account for security reasons, and I am sorry.

Due to political conflicts, financial instability or UN sanctions, we are also not providing services in some countries.

This decision did not come from OVHcloud, but rather from international organizations such as the UN (non-exhaustive list).

In order to analyze the various difficulties encountered as well as the difficulties encountered, I invite you to respond to the request for information that I have just sent you. You can reply by sending me your OVHcloud account ID (xx12345-ovh).

If you have a pending request, I can restart the service concerned.

I thank you for your understanding, and I will remain at your disposal.

Thank you for the additional information you have provided.

After analyzing your request, I note that the customer account in question does not comply with our general terms and conditions of service and has been closed by our account security team.

As stated in our contracts, when account security is at stake and the use of our services is not in compliance, we are obliged to close the service and the account without possibility of refund.

I understand that this answer may be disappointing, but I would like to emphasize that it is contractual and legitimate, in accordance with our contracts: https://www.ovhcloud.com/en/terms-and-conditions/contracts/

I also escalated the internal request to our security service for additional information.
