This is a lovely clinic, well run throughout the business. The reception team, have a warm friendly and welcoming nature (always happy to help and calm in nature). All nurses met were professional and kind. The specialist GPs are very welcoming and friendly, nothing seems too much trouble. A special shout out Dr Helen Kennedy, she is simply amazing and really knows her subject matter on female health. Also, a great expect in fitting coils, no pain felt and put me at great ease. Thank you! I highly recommend this clinic to anyone reading this review.

I 100% echo the previous reviewers and recommend Oxford Menopause fully. All of the staff I met put me at ease and thanks to the lovely lady on reception who made me a great cup of tea!

Helen is wonderful. After my GP made me feel like I was going mad/a hypochondriac (stating I was too young for Peri at 42) I finally felt listened too and my experience validated. I now have clear next steps and a hopeful light at the end of the tunnel.

The service I received at the Oxford menopause clinic was above and beyond my expectations. The staff were very welcoming and Dr Kate Barber was patient, kind, compassionate and empathetic. She listened to me patiently and was clear and knowledgeable in how she can help me where other professionals have unfortunately let me down.

From the moment we walked in till the moment I left. I was amazingly impressed with the staff friendliness and the professionalism. Thoroughly listened to having tried to get advice from my GP and local gynaecology and gastroenterology department. Katie was kind, calm and gave me evidence based HRT advice to move forward on a regime that made sense.

I cannot praise or recommend the Oxford menopause clinic highly enough. I was treated with understanding, care and warmth. I left feeling reassured, having been assessed well and having a very full discussion on best options for treatments.
If you have concerns about your menopause don’t put off making an appointment…this is the perfect environment for getting the very professional support you need.

After learning what I thought I needed and having to battle it out with my GP I decided to go private. It has been a game changer and such a relief to feel like I was being heard, Every single person at the clinic have been truly amazing and I would highly recommend. It does seem unfair for some of us to feel we need to go private but to feel like someone is listening and having access to all the different options really has been life changing.

The clinic is so calm and a very happy space. I left feeling so much more equipped to deal with Menopause and knowing I had this fantastic backup if I needed anything else going forward. You really do leave feeling cared for. I highly recommend seeing them.

After nearly 2 years of going backwards and forwards with the NHS Early Menopause team at the JR and appointments being pushed back and only receiving phonecalls rather than face to face appointments, I knew I had to find a private clinic to help me. After walking through the door at Oxford Menopause along with my husband (who was keen to understand more about the menopause to help and understand me) we were greeted with a very warm welcome. My appointment was with Dr Helen Kennedy who was simply amazing - she explained so much to me that I had never ever been told! We discussed different HRT options and I left with a new prescription to try for 3 months, a big smile on my face and a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Looking forward to seeing what progress I make and have already booked my next follow up appointment. The whole process from contacting Oxford Menopause a few weeks ago to this first appointment has been super easy and stress free - now at the age of 37 it's stressful enough going through something so young and they have taken the stress away for me.

After giving up hope of getting an NHS doctor's appointment and soon after my mother's death, I knew I needed to get all my own symptoms and health checked as a priority. Yes, going private is expensive, however, what that fee gave me was all the time I needed to explain things to Dr Barber, and she listened and was very understanding. I was not rushed out, and all tests came back in a very good time. I am now able to progress a diagnosis of thyroid issues with my NHS GP and have been taken much more seriously. You cannot really put a price on health. Thoroughly recommend. Please also note that as the CEO of an established Menopause Company myself, I chose my private GP carefully. (we have no business partnerships, however, I would seriously recommend our clients to this practice near Oxford).

After three years of being frightened stiff, in fear that I was losing my mind. A Doctor has finally had the time to listen to me. The doctors at my practice just seemed to keep throwing tablets at the problem and upping dosages! Life has been unbearable !
I genuinely hand on heart got to the stage that everyday I just didn’t want to wake up. I suggested to my GP’s that could my condition possibly be menopausal/hormonal to be told that at 61 years it would have nothing to do with the above. They put it down to Anxiety / Depression, but my condition is the same every morning and is not triggered by anything specific?
After completing the pre-appointment questionnaire the result turned out to be that I have
a majority of the symptoms of the menopause. I awake in purgatory and then throughout the day my symptoms diminish and by every evening I am back to normal, until the next morning begins and the crying etc all starts again ! Dr Kennedy not only listened to me and gave me back hope but fully explained the treatment and chances of effects etc I am now trying HRT 🤞

I was so anxious about even considering HRT, but Dr Katie Barber and the team at Oxford Menopause Clinic were all so friendly & put me at ease immediately.
Dr Katie was so kind and understanding, she explains everything thoroughly & I was relieved to find that so many of the issues that had been making me feel so miserable were most likely due to the menopause.
The HRT prescribed to me was fully explained and Dr Katie ensures that her patients are fully informed and can be contacted with any queries via email after the appointment.
My life has changed, I feel like I am "me" once more and my family all agree! So many of my symptoms have disappeared and I cannot speak highly enough of the care & treatment that I have received.
Don't delay going to this clinic, all of your concerns are listened to and addressed.

Dr Helen Kennedy was attentive and supportive. We discussed a wide range of options. I came away with revisions to my HRT regime and am looking forward to improvements to my wellbeing.

I walked into the my first appointment in floods of tears and came out feeling confident and also feeling that there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel.
