Hello Lana,

We apologize for providing a negative experience, however we’d like to go over a few points from your review:

First of all our price list is open to the public upon request. The quote of $2,100 that you’re referring to is not a quote for any size patio door that we carry. Our standard patio doors are priced according to the standard size category that it falls into. If you had called on the phone to get a quote you would have gotten a range between $2,600 and $3,800 - all dependent on the size, colour and quantity of products purchased.

We do not have a minimum order equivalent to price. Should you purchase 3 products or more we can then apply our running promotion of 20%, therefore if you purchase one product, such as a door, this promotion will not be applicable.
If we quote a custom sized patio door (such as in your case) - this door will cost even more, due to its custom size. The same applies to any custom products.

In respect to your second point about the “scientific jargon”: it truly is difficult to reiterate energy ratings for products. For instance here is the energy rating of a standard sliding door we supply:

It is no surprise that it is rather difficult to put the above in layman's terms, therefore our reps do their best to explain this in the most simple ways. When you buy a TV for example, the store clerk might explain the great quality of the screen, however he will not be able to explain what makes the screen work the way it does without going into very technical detail.

We truly value criticism from our customers when the criticism is truthful and constructive, however after investigating your situation we do not see anything that we did wrong here. Our office staff was polite, our rep was punctual and did his best to explain what was confusing, he even applied extra discounts, trying to appease your expectations.

We hope that you didn’t write this review out of frustration, and that your criticism came from a place of honesty.
