Hi PJ,
We’re sorry for the long delay and for not clearly communicating about your order—that’s not the experience we want anyone to have.
To clarify one point, we don’t charge your card until items ship. Because the morning glory seeds were never shipped, you were not charged for that portion of the order, which is why a refund was not mentioned and we offered 30% off your next order.
That said, we understand the frustration of waiting and then learning an item is unavailable. We should have communicated sooner and more clearly. We’re also actively looking into ways to better identify orders that are waiting so we can ship available items sooner and keep customers more informed throughout the process.
Your feedback is being shared with our team so we can improve how we handle backorders and notifications. If there’s anything further we can do to help, we’re here and ready to assist.

We’re very sorry for the confusion and frustration this has caused—that’s certainly not the experience we want for you.

When an order is placed, we do run a credit card authorization, which may show on your account. This is not an actual charge and typically falls off within a few days. We only capture (charge) payment when items ship. It sounds like something didn’t process as expected here, and I’d really like to take a closer look for you.

We’re pretty proud of that foil packaging, so it’s great to know it’s keeping your seeds fresh and outsmarting the mice—sounds like it’s doing its job perfectly.

I’d like to take a closer look at the shipping charge you mentioned. Seed-only orders ship for a flat $5.95, so if the total was closer to $7–$8, there may have been a non-seed item included. Since I don’t have access to your order details here on Trustpilot, would you mind emailing info@parkseed.com
and putting Attn: Gwen in the subject line? I’ll review it personally and see exactly what happened.

I’m also sorry to hear the Coleus Chocolate Covered Cherry didn’t germinate for you—especially when your Giant Exhibition Coleus had 100% success. That tells me you’re clearly doing things right. When you email, I’d love to hear a little about how you started the seeds so we can better understand what may have gone wrong. We’re happy to send replacement seeds as well.

Your shipment was delayed because Zinnia California Giants was temporarily out of stock, which held the order. When you called, we were able to release the available items and expedite them right away. We completely understand how frustrating it must have been to not know what was happening, and we apologize for the lack of communication.

The good news is that Zinnia California Giants is now back in stock, and we’ll be sending that out to you very soon.
