Complete sharks,,terminal failed and although notified they did nothing about it, except still trying to charge monthly fee for something that doesn't work, avoid this company at all cost

Disgraceful company

Disgraceful company - Corporate bullies, we have not been using their card machine, as the payments were late and could never get hold of any assistance:
signed 4 year contract in september 2022, when they new the legislation was changing to 3 years maximum term.
they have been charging me for the following elements
Pax A920Pro Mobile
Faster Payments
PCI Compliance
I've asked them to remove the faster payments & PCI compliance as its not relevant as I'm not using their machine.
they refuse to adjust the payments to just the supply of the card machine, which I don't need.
Stay away from this company!!!!

Please note, Paytek act as the billing agent and appointed administrator by your Service Provider. Therefore, your PCI and any legislative compliance enquiry will need to be forwarded to your Service Provider.

Stay away from this small mafia company.don’t believe any of them they are cover each others.they are thief,they gonna looting people pocket.ill take them to court.

I took out a three year contract via a…

I took out a three year contract via a third party !. My business folded after 18 months. They are holding me to the end of the contract. Not helpful. I would never recommend them. Will be taking up with the financial ombudsman

AVOID AVOID

Didnt process a single transaction with them yet when contract up they still took another two payments. No communication from them to state that contract was up and that payments would still be charged if not personally cancelled.
Avoid like the plaque at all costs

Check the tiny small print

Unfortunately due to their relationship with PaymentSense (card terminal provider) we are in a monthly contract for "Card Processing Service Charges" with PayTek. We cancelled the contract with PaymentSense several months ago (no major issues with PaymentSense cancellation), and have therefore not done any card processing via this contract since then, but PayTek insist we are still in a separate monthly contract with them to pay for monthly "Card Processing Service Charges", despite the fact that we have done NO card processing.

Avoid this company Scam and Fraud

“Paytek Administration Services Ltd is the worst company I have experienced in my life. They are trying to sell card terminals through their broker and have created fake email IDs and contracts, signing them themselves. I have been trying to explain to them about the scam and fraud, but they never admit to the problems, just trying to claim money even though their service has not been used. Now, I have instructed my solicitor to deal with these scammers and am prepared to take this to court in the future.”

The Paytek generic response doesn't make any sense. Than who are you responding or asking money from people!! Now the issue escalated to my solicitors. Paytek is scammer will pay back damage made on people. I wish people will read this reviews to avoid future problems.

If I could give no stars I would

If I could give no stars I would. Their machines never worked from when I first got them. Made several phone calls with no success. After several months I cancelled my direct debit now 18mths later I have received a county court judgement. They can clearly see no transactions have been made.

I took a contract for my shop

I took a contract for my shop. The agent told me that the contract is only for 18 months and there is no cancellation fee after that. Unfortunately I did not look deeply into the contract which said 48 months instead. No I have to pay around £1000 to close the account. same happened with my another shop and I had to pay nearly £2500 to cancel.

Please note, the Terms of Agreement is attached to a Service Agreement for customer to review.

However, if you have documentary evidence in support of your claim against the reseller, please contact our office at your earliest possible convenience on 0203 176 3200 and we would be happy to escalate to your terminal service provider.

Alternatively, please call our office and speak to the Collections Manager for a review of the cancellation fees, quoting SA/your agreement number(s)

Charges

You need to be aware of charges even if you close or sell your business, they will ask to pay for the full contract, other companies, such as energy providers, broadband suppliers, even Elavon or any other card payment suppliers will cancel your contract and no fees to be paid, on the other hand there is no need to get things complicated and get this type of companies on board, just get a direct card payment supplier with no more parties involved, you have been warned

Overcharged

I ended my contract and they continued to charge me two more times. Not going to chase after it, hope it was worth losing future business.
