Really really bad. I did not even know there was a direct debit activated in this website.

This website operates as a predatory subscription trap using hidden "dark patterns" to siphon money from your account.
​They lure you in with a cheap $1–$3 "one-off" fee to edit or convert a single PDF. Hidden in the fine print is an automatic enrollment into an unauthorized monthly membership. Days later, they silently hit your card with a massive recurring charge ($45–$85) without any warning or invoice.

​ADVICE FOR VICTIMS: Their cancellation portal is a sham—don't waste time waiting for a reply. Log into your banking app immediately and "Lock/Freeze" your card. Then, call your bank's fraud department, dispute the charge as a "hidden subscription trap," and request a completely new card number so they cannot rebill you under a different name.

I signed up for editing pdf but wasn’t clearly told it would auto-renew into an $84.95 monthly subscription. The charge hit my account without warning. I contacted support immediately, didn’t use any paid features, and asked for a refund. They only offered a “Lifetime free plan” instead of a refund, even though I won’t use the editor at all. Disappointing experience.

Paid to convert 1 PDF and now they've suddenly taken my last £50 I didn't agree to a subscription, I didn't need one. Now going through the bank and requested a chargeback

I only payed for one pdf file I thought. The company then, without me knowing it, charges me 50 euro's monthy. I just discovered this on my creditcard. In my profile it says that I have a monthly description. But that is not what I chose. I have just sent them a message and hope for a full refund as I only discovered this now and it already started in march.

Me he quedado sorprendido al verlo, pues no tengo constancia de haber dado ni siquiera el número de m i tarjeta. Me parece un abuso el que se haga un cargo así, cuando no he recibido ninguna información de nada. Ni siquiera tengo una suscripción con esta empresa. Por eso, he solicitado que se me devuelva el dinero que me han cobrado

I used a one file payment option and shouldn't have been charged more than £2. I then got a text from my bank a week later telling me that they'd blocked suspicious activity. If was a payment for £46 from this company. I went in to cancel my subscription but got no confirmation of cancellation despite filling in the form three times. Today I've woken to them having somehow managed to take the money out anyway and absolutely no where in their website to show what my subscription status is other than to fill that form out again.

I first wrote a 4 star-review, but now that the company has tried to put through a further, unauthorized, charge to my credit card of $71.67 I retract that review and am pursuing fraud accusations against them with my bank. This business model borders on criminal and, as a lawyer, am demanding a refund and will will not settle for anything less.

SCAM - they literaly charge you without your aproval using your credit card as they please.

Same thing happened to me as to the other reviewers. You use it once for a small fee and then they charge you for a whole month without your consent. My credit card had to be closed and was sent a new one. What a scam business.

Sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung mit pdf-billing.com.

Ich habe ausdrücklich einen Testtarif für 0,00 € abgeschlossen und bin davon ausgegangen, dass keinerlei Kosten entstehen. Trotzdem wurden mir anschließend zwei Beträge von meinem Konto abgebucht. Für mich ist völlig unverständlich, wie aus einem kostenlosen Testangebot kostenpflichtige Abbuchungen werden konnten.

Die Preisgestaltung und die Vertragsbedingungen sind aus meiner Sicht nicht ausreichend transparent dargestellt. Als Kunde erwarte ich, klar und eindeutig darüber informiert zu werden, wenn nach einem Testzeitraum Kosten entstehen oder automatische Abbuchungen erfolgen.

Besonders ärgerlich ist, dass gleich zwei Abbuchungen erfolgt sind. Dadurch entsteht bei mir der Eindruck, dass Kunden bewusst in kostenpflichtige Verträge gelockt werden sollen. Ich fühle mich getäuscht und kann diesen Service daher nicht empfehlen.

Wer einen kostenlosen Test nutzen möchte, sollte die Bedingungen sehr genau prüfen und seine Kontoauszüge im Blick behalten.

Dishonest company. The address used by Pdf-billing.com is Files-editor.com. When you logon with your email used for your pdf conversion, it will display your subscription to cancel. After that, you can contact them using the online form to request a partial or full refund. Again the main address used by PDF-billing.com is Files-Editor.Com. You can claim your refund there.
The company uses undetected methods with low introductory offfers of £0.75 or £0.95 to trick you and the claim £46.45 monthly subscription reoccuring on your account. Here's the Claim you refund at {Files-editor.com}

Just awful business practice. Small charge goes directly to full subscription without warning or check.

Complete scam they give you a small cost to transfer a single pdf in my case $1.75 which I accepted. Then they charge you a higher monthly cost in my case £46 for something I didn't agree to.Seems to be a very dodgy practice to over charge the customer.

Used a one pdf for .95 and got signed up for subscription. Been trying to cancel and there is no easy way to do it. Total scam. I canceled my card and they used an alternative card as backup for payment. DO NOT USE
