I have never received a converted file or any details regarding this subscription.
And since 19 DECEMBER 2022, I am still waiting for the refund because they emailed me saying:
"Following your refund request, we escalated the matter to our billing department. As soon as a decision has been made we will contact you".
Their billing department is EXTREMELY busy :) :) :)

I had the same problem as they guyâŠ
I had the same problem as they guy below. I told them if they didn't refund me I'd instruct my solicitor to charge them with fraud as this is contrary to UK law as it doesn't say anywhere that I'd be charged £29.90. Glad others have had the same problem (glad they've now resolved them). They've promised me a refund but haven't received it yet so I've told them if they don't refund me by next Monday I'll sue them.
For anyone who hasn't got their money back threaten to take them to court. If it did go to court you'd be due a large compensation from them under trading standards and they'd have to pay your legal fees

Threaten them with Trading Standards
The usual story - initial 50p charge and then a £29.90 charge 2 days later. If you scroll down to the bottom of the initial website request (which probably no-one does) then it does say that they will do this to you, so this is why they claim that it is clearly stated on the website. I threatened them with Trading Standards and got my money back immediately: this was what I put in the email -
"One of the criteria for contacting Trading Standards is if a company is not "clear about the price or added on extra costs". Hiding the "premium" service at the bottom of the page and not mentioning it in any of the 3 emails you sent to me seems to be a pretty clear case of this."
So worth trying this approach (and maybe really do go ahead and approach Trading Standards).

As many others have said, it is a SCAM!
As many many others have stated below, I paid 50p to convert a PDF to a JPG image 2 days ago. Today (the day of my uncle's funeral no less!!!) I got a text from my bank asking if I wanted to complete a transaction from "Pdfconvert" for £29.90. I obviously said no. I was a bit worried when I entered my card details into the website but presumed as it was the top page that came up on Google when searching for a PDF to image converter that it must be trustworthy... just shows you should always check reviews of ANY website before giving them your money!!
I'm only giving them 2 stars rather than the common 1 star as I did actually receive my image, and I didn't actually get charged the £29.90 as my bank is secure enough to check with me first before it went through with that transaction, which I obviously told them was unwanted.
I'm embarrassed I fell for a scam as I've been binging YouTubers such as Kitboga and Scammer Payback who mess with scammers to waste their time... and on top of that I have a computer science degree. But this was a well-hidden scam. I'm just glad I haven't had any of my precious money taken as every penny counts to me and I definitely couldn't have afforded to lose £29.90 for absolutely no reason...

It scam, as the other reviews say, they charge you a subscription which I stilll don't know at which moment they warn you you are about to pay. If I could give 0 stars,I would. Like so many other reviewers I used this website once for a cost of 50p or so I thought, then found they were debiting £29.90 a month from my card. I hadn't signed up to anything more than a single use and I didn't want it, and because it's a charge made against your debit card rather than a direct debit it isn't easy to cancel.
