Honestly this is a terrible and confusing service.I tried a conversion which did not work and then was charged for an annual subscription which PDF Convert did cancel but then refused me a refund.So it cost me £30.00 for nothing!!!Its outrageous!!

These people are scammers
These people are scammers - do not use - same as everyone here was expecting to pay 50p and was charged £29.50 on a monthly basis - was able to stop the subscription but they refused to refund the first month even though I cancelled within 3 days. These sites should be taken down from the internet as they are breaking the law.
Update
Their comments that they tried to contact me are untrue; I emailed them with my email address but they never got back in touch with me - my original review still stands. If they want to make amends just refund my scammed money.

Happy to say that my money was refunded in February - I had not noticed! Thank you for doing the right thing and Thank you to TrustPIlot - shows the impact of the site.

See they've changed their website now which states the trial and subscription. I paid 50p to convert a file I didn't see any information regarding the £29.90 monthly subscription fee. Neither did I get an email confirming a subscription or being able to cancel. As I have paid for a subscription I decided to try and log in but the connection isn't secure - what a scam!

Scam company, be careful
They advertise GBP 0.50 for a pdf to word, then after 48 hours debit GBP 28.90 for a months subscription. When you call they say you agreed to a monthly subscription which you can cancel but refuse to refund the money taken as they say the £0.50 was a 48 hour trial.
Be very careful of this sharp practice company.

Belle arnaque. Je pensais payer 50 centimes pour la fusion de deux fichiers PDF en un seul document. J'ai bien reçu le document fusionné, j'étais toute contente. Mais voilà que je trouve dans mon relevé de carte Visa un débit de 29.50... Je crois que ça s'appelle du "phishing". A fuir.
Mise à jour le 12.04.2022: J'ai reçu un message via Trustpilot comme quoi Pdfconvert veut en savoir plus sur mon cas. J'ai rempli le formulaire qu'ils ont envoyé. J'attends la suite.
... Voici la suite. Le 6 février 2023 - soit presque un an plus tard - une dame me téléphone prétendant vouloir me rembourser. Elle veut savoir si j'ai fait opposition à ma carte bancaire. Je lui ai dit que je ne suis plus à même de partager des informations sensibles avec cette société. S'ils veulent me rembourser ils peuvent m'écrire, soit à mon mail public qui se trouve en ligne, soit à mon adresse à Strasbourg. J'aurais besoin d'une trace écrite. Difficile de faire confiance à une société qui m'a arnaquée.
14.04.2023: Pdfconvert signale mon avis comme frauduleux. J'ai fourni des preuves de l'arnaque à Trustpilot. Je me demande s'ils vont faire pareil avec les centaines ou milliers d'autres client.e.s qui ont signalé la même arnaque...

Scam Site! Be wary!!
Scam. On 2nd December 2021 I paid for a PDF to be converted into a Word Doc for 50p GBP. No file was ever delivered. I emailed asking where it was- and no reply!
A couple of days later (4th December) I see I have been charged an additional 29.90 GBP without my consent. I have emailed a complaint- but yet to hear a reply.
