Have dealt with this company before but have now changed names, for the better I might add. Pleasant and friendly, easy and reliable customer service. Quick service and the front door looks great. Was able to contact customer service whenever I needed too and any questions were dealt with, manager was very pleased that he fixed a problem himself lol !

Very impressed with the quality of our new front door. The whole process went without issue and the door is better than we imagined.

The company initially cold-called while I wasn’t at home. My girlfriend spoke to them and was told that I needed to be there for them to provide a quote, so we agreed to have someone come out.

Unfortunately, the experience was extremely uncomfortable from the outset. The salesperson used high-pressure sales tactics and, despite us making it clear that we weren’t interested in proceeding, simply wouldn’t take no for an answer.

We were given the typical “today only” offer, with the suggestion that we needed to make a decision there and then to get the price being offered. The salesperson also claimed that the company had a 4.8-star rating on this platform, which we subsequently checked and could not find evidence of.

The quote itself was also ridiculously expensive, particularly once the interest over the proposed 10-year finance period was taken into account. The salesperson then rang the office in front of us and described the cost as “not a lot of money” because it was only around £30 a month for 10 years. That’s a 10-year financial commitment, and presenting it simply as a small monthly payment felt very misleading.

We were there for a quote, not to be pressured into making an immediate financial decision. The combination of the high-pressure sales approach, the “today only” offer, the claimed review rating and the way the 10-year finance cost was presented left a very poor impression.

Based on this experience, I certainly wouldn’t use the company or recommend their sales approach to others.

Really pleased with the whole experience from start to finish. Steve came out to discuss replacing our windows and doors and was extremely helpful throughout. He took the time to go through all the different options, answered any questions we had and gave us plenty of useful advice without making us feel pressured into making a decision.

We were so happy with the visit and the options available that we decided to go ahead with having the windows and doors replaced throughout the full house.

A really positive experience overall. Steve was friendly, knowledgeable and professional, and made the whole process straightforward and easy. Would definitely recommend!

Very pleased with our experience getting a new door through Pennine.

From finalising our choice at the showroom, to getting our door measured, updates from the office team, and the coming out installers, the team have been professional, friendly and helpful throughout.

The work was undertaken with no fuss, but the team made sure we were happy before they left, talked us through locks and fittings, and left the job clean and tidy.

New door looks great, is well fitted and makes a massive difference to our home. Fewer draughts and blocking out all street noise were instantly noticeable.

The only constructive feedback I would offer is in relation to the door design and selection process. We knew we wanted a door that met Secure-by-Design and PAS24 criteria but the online door designer allows customers to design doors with features that do not meet this criteria. This wasn't pointed out to us when we placed the order, so had we not realised ourselves we may have made a costly mistake from our perspective. That said, once the team at Pennine were aware that this was important to us, they did an excellent job informing us of what was and wasn't possible and accommodating our changes.

Overall though, very happy with the product and the experience.

Just had new doors and windows installed and very pleased with them. The two fitters were excellent, they never stopped working from start to finish, did a great job and cleaned up afterwards. Would definately reccomend.

Very professional, lads turned up earlier than expected and got straight on with it. Door and frame looks amazing very happy and worth the money.

Just had my old poly carbonate roof removed and new Warmaroof installed on my conservatory.
The professional manor which this was carried out, was really pleasing.
The install team of Cam and Frazer, really good, Ash the plasterer, really good.
I work in the construction industry and I couldn't be happier with the whole install, well done.
Allison, who was co-ordinating the project, was in contact all through process and all went very well.
Always a concern when getting works done on your property, but these guys nailed it.

Really good experience straight foward on time and excellent job can’t go wrong

Excellent product. 4 windows and main door ordered. The windows and door were first class. Presume quality. Plus a all products guaranteeed for a number of years. I was suprised by the glass quality which has a UV film. This means UV window film is a thin, specialized laminate material applied to glass surfaces to block harmful ultraviolet (UV) radiation while still letting natural light pass through. It therefore reduces and protects indoor furniture, flooring, rugs, fabrics, and expensive artwork from sun-induced fading. But also helps heat retention in winter months, and helps to reduce heat in the summer months.

Excellent instalation by Scott & Danny. Very clean, polite, and they both worked extremely hard to get the instalation done in the shortest of time.
I cannot say any more but I would throughly recommend Pennine Home for any projects in the future. I still have other windows and doors that may need to be replaced and would welcome this company back with open arms. Very professional, very accommodating, and a good value.

After the salesman's promises & assurances, we have been let down with every step of the project. Design delayed 2 weeks due to 'system upgrade issues'; despite assurances that flooring would be protected after wxisting roof was removed, we experienced multiple water ingress problems, which were never 100% remedied; we had sub-cntractors arriving unannounced; we had sub-contractors arriving not knowing what they were here to do; the estimated 6 to 8 days work duration ended up being 8 weeks. I requested compensation for the issues & delays we experienced but received nothing. We are still waiting on the electrical test certificate for the lighting they completed on 24/06/26. Other than that, the majority of their fitters were excellent.

Fantastic service throughout, from the moment Chris entered my property and talked me through the product features, to the inspection post-installation by Mark.
Kim, who I assume managed the project side of my purchase, was nothing short of amazing. She kept me in the loop all the way through and did her best to ensure the installation date and time was suitable for me.
The products, (which are stunning), are of great quality and at an affordable price; not to mention having the added bonus of lengthy warranties to ensure my windows and doors remain pristine for years to come.
Will definitely be recommending to friends and family!!

Really happy with the whole experience from start to finish. Ben did the initial consultation and was really helpful, and the communication from Kim, the Project Co-Ordinator, was really good throughout, which made everything nice and straightforward.

Jonathon and Michael were brilliant. They turned up on time, were really professional and friendly, did a great job and cleaned everything up before they left.

The new windows and doors have honestly transformed the house and we're really pleased with how everything looks. The quality of the installation is excellent and it's clear the guys take pride in their work.

A big thanks to Ben, Kim, Jonathon and Michael — we're really pleased with the end result and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I am in active dispute with Pennine Home Improvements /Windows Plus Roofs regarding a total specification downgrade.
My original order of premium sliding sash windows and composite doors was downgraded after the survey to cheaper casement sash style windows and UPVC doors.
The sales pitch was intense and on the second visit I was led to believe that scaffolding across the whole frontage was required which would be thousand plus pounds.
Whilst I initially accepted the structural change the company have completely hidden the financial reality from me.
After installation where NO scaffolding was used, they offered me a mere £250 refund and after declining this refund and asking for a price breakdown I was offered a further £800 “ good will gesture” of which I have refused.
The actual market value difference between the products equates to thousands of pounds.
Despite me asking repeatedly, the company have refused to provide an itemised price breakdown.This feels entirely deceptive.
I have refused to sign the finance satisfaction note for the remaining £10,400 and the finance provider’s resolution team have now been contacted to investigate this matter.
This company have gone on to say that the difference in the downgrade costs does not mean that the difference represents a sum automatically due back to the customer.
Where does this money go?
Surely this is the customer’s true refund ?
I advise anyone dealing with this company to demand itemised pricing in writing before allowing any changes to an order.

The experience was excellent. The installers came and carried out their insulation without any problems. They completed all five windows in the morning. The windows are very nice and very effective. I feel safe to access the outside in case there is an emergency.

What went wrong? Well basically the promised time frames by the company were nowhere no adhered to. Was told work would 5 to 6 day for the roof and 1 day to plaster and then a few days later electrician would come.

Work started 03/08/2026 and still waiting to have room plastered properly; sent some random contractor to have a go and the results were not good and now we need to rectify the issues. We make a plan to get this done which required having a radiator removed.... plan fell at first hurdle as this didn't get done when promised so plasterer wasn't able to do what was planned the following day...he is not available after Wednesday until after he gets backs from holiday. Just a constant stream of failed plans and attempts to plan and get some work done. No forward planning; no coordination on the ground to get things sorted and your at the mercy of what the contractors are telling the people at Pennine trying to orchestrate and arrange this work.

I have wasted massive amounts of my time chasing things up; working at home is less than ideal and the nightmare just goes on and on.

Avoid if you like smoothly planned execution of your project and value your time and want a fair turn around.

I only leave bad reviews to warn others not to fall into same traps I did. 17 bad reviews from 19. I have exeprience 1000s of companies over the years. I have been offered incentive by your marketing team to put a good review like many others will have been. My alarm sensor was also broken by the roof installers and I have not even asked for anything in regards to this as I was told it would be better if moved before work started; I accept that and not using it as a chance for compensation. The truth is more likely that a company is willing to do whatever is can to get customers to pay up front before any works starts and fight tooth and nail to keep every bit of profit on massive margins. I am simply telling the truth.

Buyer Beware. Take the money up front; got you over a barrel with if and when contractors turn up.

Also time is the greatest resource and your consistently wasting mine; used holiday from work; worked 8 days from home very unproductively; massively impacted my life. Sold the dream; living a nightmare.

From planning to fitting our new door, the whole process was outstanding. We are very happy with our new door, thanks to everyone at Pennine 😊

I approached Pennine as they are local, quality fittings and hardware, with excellent reviews and my family have personally used them previously with wonderful results and guarantees.
