Response and solution to a problem found when trying to order an Otiom tracker from Pentland was extremely quick and efficient, and delivery was made next day. Excellent service.

Excellent service. Contacted me within moments of the order with a query. Came promptly and worked perfectly.

Ordered 2 extra otiom bases to cover the property. The first 2 that arrived did not turn on no matter what was tried ( and boy did we try ) and therefore impossible to register with the app. After contact with Otiom support they dispatched 2 more on next day delivery at no extra cost. The post arrived with the new tested ones and in 10 seconds they turned on and were registed with the app. A paid for label was also provided by Otiom to send back the returns.

Can't praise the company highly enough. Tracker now set up for Mum and works great.

Very easy to set up
I am more relaxed now knowing I can locate my father if he goes out.

The Otiom tag is a very high tec locating device, simple to use but with very sophisticated capabilities for keeping tabs on dementia sufferers. Like most such devices, it relies on network connectivity – in this case the Internet of Things (IOT). IOT coverage in this area is not dissimilar to mobile coverage and the dementia sufferer lives in an area of very poor mobile coverage. I cannot speak too highly of the efforts that Otiom have gone to liaising directly with me in order to maximise the tag’s effectiveness in these challenging conditions. This has enabled us to keep our relation in her own flat and out of a care home even though she is prone to wandering – it has saved our bacon on numerous occasions and even allows us to keep tabs on her within the development where her flat is located. If you want a top-of-the-range tracking system that delivers peace of mind, I cannot recommend Otiom too highly.

The Otium tracker is marvellous. It took away the worry of not knowing where the wearer was, just such great peace of mind.

Gives peace of mind my dad isn’t getting lost

We have been using the Otiom tag and app to support my gran who has recently been diagnosed with dementia. The app and tag were easy to set up - the app talks you through the process step by step. You can add others to receive location updates etc on the app by sending an invite. We’ve been able to set up a safety zone so the app doesn’t go off all the time but it’s given us peace of mind if my gran does wander further than usual that we’ll be notified and able to find her quickly. Would definitely recommend as it’s supporting my gran to remain at home.
