We found the experience a bit overwhelming and lots of frustrating twists and turns along the way !
However without the help and support of Nic and Leah I think we may have called whole thing off ! They chased all of those involved reported back to us constantly which we found very refreshing as actually being involved with different parties along the way we found that this always didn’t happen .
Their determination to push the sale through was second to none and we had a few ups and downs along the way. They were encouraging polite and efficient in the knowledge of their business and we also had a few giggles along the way

From the start the team at bannister where professional, polite, and informative. Alex did the valuation and gave his honest opinion on a couple of matters. Then Nichola & Leah navigated us through the selling process. Most of the time they had information before the solicitors did, which was a great help. I would not hesitate to recommend Bannisters

We have recently sold our property using Philip Bannisters and would 100% recommend. Sue and her team in Hessle were supportive, honest, and efficient in managing the sale as well as my nerves as we had previously tried other local agents and hadn't managed to get over the line (for various reasons). Despite not being in their immediate local area we were very happy with everything and very appreciative of their amazing work!

House was photographed on the 23rd of December 2025, online the next day (Christmas Eve). It was well presented and sold on the 23rd January 2026. They also handled the purchase of my new property. We recently used Philip Bannister & Co in Hessle and couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Moving house is notoriously stressful, but the entire team made the process as smooth and seamless as possible. A massive, special thank you goes to Sue, she was an absolute superstar throughout. Her communication was brilliant, and she was incredibly tenacious when it came to chasing up solicitors and keeping us fully updated every step of the way. Professional, friendly, and genuinely supportive.

Didn't realise that selling a property could be fairly stressful, but Nicola and the ladies at Bannisters reduced that feeling considerably by their knowledge, efficiency, professionalism and their inter personal skills which ultimately assisted, I am sure with the sale of the bungalow.
