I have just had bariatric surgery with Phoenix health and from the very start I cannot fault there service. My face to face was great discussing all options of surgery and helping me decide the right one for me which was gastric bypass OAGB. Communication from them was brilliant and timescale was great. The hospital I stayed at was The Pines Manchester and again faultless, well looked after, given great medical advise for aftercare and the surgeons and all staff brilliant, the one on one chats are really good and the dietician is there to see you too. I will definitely consider for any future surgery.

I had my gallbladder removed by Mr Almerie. He was brilliant, put me at ease, explained everything and surgery went perfectly. Could not recommend him enough. The whole phoenix team have been incredible from start to finish.

I want to thank everyone involved for everything they have done. I was treated amazingly and very efficient. I didn't have any worries or issues. I am going home very happy.

Had my surgery two days ago and the Phoenix team were amazing. Came away today feeling happy and confident about my surgery and meds and the team went out of their way to ensure I was ready to go home.

Had mini gastric bypass 7 weeks ago. I had thought long and hard about my decision and done lots of research. Phoenix Health came out on top of all providers which is why I’d had my band out with them several years ago. They continued to get great reviews and I knew of several people who had been very pleased with the service. I’m so glad I chose them. Miss Darien was absolutely amazing in the lead up to surgery and while I was in hospital. She really wants you to be fully informed and make the right decision for you. She’s upfront and honest and I felt I could totally trust her. She really cares about her patients as individuals and makes you feel special. Could not recommend her more highly.

5 days post op mini bypass. I can’t rate phoenix highly enough. My surgery was performed my dr Javed . The team are there every step of the way. It felt like a very personal experience. There were a few inconveniences at the pines as they’re currently going through a renovation. The staff did everything in their power to make the experience as easy for me as possible. The care from the nurses was second to none. Nothing too much trouble. A very big decision and frightening time made easy by very caring and professional people

Had an excellent experience with Phoenix, very quick and caring. I had a bypass at the Pines under Mr Javed, he was fantastic, cannot fault the procedure at all.
The Pines itself was great, I was looked after from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble. In particular Irma the night nurse went above and beyond and was so caring, that said all the staff were great.

I had a laporoscopic sleeve gastrectomy under the care of Dr Darrian. The whole team went above and beyong to ensure my surgery and post op recovery were of the highest standard. Excellent carecand compassion from all involved.

Fantastic place. They were absolutely run of their feet day and night. One nurse who was dealing with me on nights, was still there even after shift change over because it was so busy and they didn’t have the staff. Still made every effort to look after me and others on the ward! I was only there two days but think I’ll miss them 😂🥲 what can I say about Dr Darrien and her team. Fantastic. Thank you for giving me the opportunity for a new life! ❤️

I have had such a positive experience with Phoenix Health, from start to finish. Everything was explained to me, I was treated respectfully, questions always answered; and the follow up care has been second to none. I cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you to all the staff at Phoenix Health. 10/10!

6 months on from my gastric sleeve performed by Dr Darrien. Im fully recovered, i wear a size 12 in most clothing , i can still go out to eat and socialise. Some people think they will never be able to go out for a meal or enjoy food again - not true. Obviously you have to be aware and eat healthy, but that doesn't mean the odd treat is out the question. As long as you respect the surgery ( which is a little bit uncomfortable for the first few days but any pain is well managed by Phoenix and soon passes) you will reap the benefits to your health and mental wellbeing. Whenever anyone says " you look well, you've lost weight - whats your secret ?" I tell them, as i will tell anyone reading this - best decision in regard to my life long problem with my weight I've ever made. Thank you Phoenix.

My Surgeon Dr Almerie was absolutely amazing. I was kept informed every step of the way and also the staff was so patient and nothing was a bother.

Amazing experience!! Can not rate my experience enough. I've had so much support. I've listened to everything that I was told. I eat 120gr of protein a day, never suffered any sickness or complications. Nursing staff were attentive. Surgeon was Dr Jennifer Darrien and she was utterly amazing. The theater were awesome and for anyone considering the mini gastric bypass just do it!!!!! I'm 7 weeks post op and I have lost 33% of my excess body weight!!

Absolute fantastic service from the first ever phone call to the office right through to the end. I had the gastric sleeve by Ms Darrien and she was amazing. Brilliant surgeon and lovely person too. Nothing was too much bother. Phoenix have been really on the ball the whole time and I’m so pleased I chose Phoenix!

Mr Qutayba Almerie and his team have been absolutely fantastic. The lovely coordinator, Emma, put me at ease throughout the whole process. On the day of my surgery, Mr Almerie and the team were fantastic at making everything very clear and being really down to earth. The nurses can’t do enough for you. The Pines is a beautiful facility. I highly recommend this team to anyone looking for gastric surgery. Thank you guys

Even prior to being admitted I was welcomed by the staff, I had spoken to my surgeon Mr Almerie prior and had contact details for every one I will need through the journey. On the day of the surgery I was welcomed with open arms and cared for by the whole team at a first class level. I was made aware of any possible complications but the procedure went well and I'm already feeling great. I was able to ask all questions I had and was always reassured never pressured.I honestly couldn't have asked for better and I cannot thank them enough. Here is to the journey of a new me.
