Phoenix healthcare have been amazing from start to finish. Mr Javed is an amazing surgeon and the staff at the Alexander hospital couldn’t have been any better. I had a gastric sleeve done and by the next afternoon, felt pretty much back to normal. Would highly recommend phoenix healthcare to everyone

Been under phoenix health since June 2023. Mr Javed done both my bypass and my revision Bypass. Hes really patient, explains everything really well but most importantly listen to your worries and answers all questions thoroughly. All the staff throughout phoenix from clinical and non clinical are always so helpful and friendly. Ive always recieved fantastic service.

Phoenix Health have been truly amazing in my journey with biatric surgery. There staff are amazing all welcoming, very informative, clear and precise in every manner and appointment attended. I feel so priviliged to have been able to go through this journey with them and able to access their provisions. I would highly recommend the company to anyone whom wants to be treated as a 1st class citizen with rights about their health and decisions.

What an absolutely amazing experience throughout phoneix care. From lovely receptionist to the surgeon. Everyone was welcoming and lovely making you feel at home. The care was very excellent and the hospital was very clean throughout.
I can't say a single bad word about anything. Thank you for my surgery. I'm ever so grateful.

After being referred in June 2025….it happened so fast! I had a mini bypass at the pines hospital Manchester on the 26th August through phoenix health. From my first telephone call with melony to having surgery with Dr Stewart everything has just been amazing. I was worried about being judged about having weight loss surgery but there is absolutely nothing to worry about. Everyone is super friendly and kind and I was really taken care of. Dr Stewart and the anaesthetist Oliver came to see me when I arrived to explain my procedure and to let me know I would be well taken care of throughout the surgery. I suffer very badly with anxiety and was prescribed diazepam to calm the nerves. (It helped) Big shout out to Dr George who took all my bloods. I have a huge needle phobia but he was so patient with me and didn’t rush me at all. I went down for surgery at 12pm, was in recovery for 2pm and back in my room for 2.30pm. Obs including blood pressure, temperature and oxygen sats are done very frequently upon your return from surgery which is amazing. The HCA’s and nursing staff really do take care of you and try and make you feel as comfortable as possible. A big thank you to Remi, Connie, Archu, neyvu, and Isabella for looking after me on the ward. Martha and Melissa (theatre nurses) and the doctor who came to collect me for theatre (forgot his name, I’m sorry). I am now at home recovering after a very successful surgery. I would recommend phoenix health to anyone. A big thank you to melony, Emma and Donna who have been amazing all the way through. So friendly and have all explained every stage of the process to me so well. Thank you everyone x

From the moment i was referred to phoenix health they have been amazing with the amount of support they give you. There is always someone you can talk to if you have any questions or need extra support. Throughout the whole lengthy process i have always known what ive needed to do to get to the stage where the operation can be done. I knew i was in safe hands with them and knew the operation wasn't going to be done until i was ready and prepared for it. The care and support you are given after the operation is brilliant, and gives you peace of mind knowing that you are not on your own as soon as its done with it being such a life changing operation.

Had surgery this week at the pines in Manchester. From the minute I entered the hospital all the staff were amazing. The care at this hospital is just exceptional all the staff are so caring and compassionate. Big thanks to my surgeon Mr stuart, the nurses, ODP and all the health care staff who looked after me in theatre. Big thank you to my nurse in the ward Roz who was just amazing and so kind to me. She really looked after me.

Wonderful care so far from the minute I was referred. Always in contact and have an open ear for any questions. Just had op n Manchester avd been looked after to the highest standard. Aftercare all in place. Just perfect.

Could not fault being in there hands and proceed of my surgery . Information and communication clear at every stage and what to expect if needed again in the future wouldn't hesitate to use them again 💯🙏

The nurses and doctors and surgeons were very nice. All together procedure were easy and everything went great .

The communication through the booking service was very good, but some details were not included. Im talking about not being informed of the type of recovery process I experienced after my gastric sleeve and hiatus hernia operation. Rhe whole team were very positive about the procedure, with very little negativity. However, the anaesthesia caused a huge amount of vomiting,which the nurse told me anyone with travel sickness can experience. If this is you, i suggest you tell the anaesthetist. I was inducted to sleep very quickly, and awoken to pain and vomiting for all of the first night. The care was very good, and many drugs were tried to calm the sickness. But by day one I was traumatised, but they gave me a steroid on day two which finally helped. The operation recovery continues, and I hope to have no more problems. Thanks to the nurses and doctors, I got through it. The surgeons have corrected a hernia i didn't know i had, which is a bonus, and im now home recovering well.

The entire process was very simple and straightforward right from the start. I asked that two semi related procedures be done at the same time and was approved and all signed off, so avoided two separate surgeries (yay!). Every member of staff I met was friendly, compassionate and yet still professional. The hospital was lovely, very thorough with discharge and medications etc, and I would highly recommend Pheonix to anybody and everybody.

Staff are all friendly and helpful to and make you feel comfortable and answer any concerns you may have.

Could not thank pines hospital enough for the service I received from every single staff member whilst having a 2 day stay here, from the nurses always making sure your comfortable and pain free, and also helping you guide you through your new journey with loads of support, I had my surgery done by mrs Darrien & her team I couldn’t thank them enough for how smooth everything went and the support I have had from all of them throughout the whole scary process of surgery, thankyou so much to every single one of you at pines hospital, I couldn’t be anymore happier!🩷

Amazing experience from day 1! Cannot fault anything. Have been informed of everything that is happening and kept updated. Thank you for making this a good experience.

What a fantastic Health group. If you are fortunate enough to be under Phoenix health for Bariatric Surgery, know that you are in excellent hands. The team cannot do enough for you. They take their time to go through everything with you, they have follow up calls before Surgery to ensure you are ready and have all the information you need. The Hospital The Pines also know as Electiva, has been phenomenal. The care was top notch. Ms Jennifer Darrien was a fantastic surgeon and explained everything nicely to me a few days before Surgery and then after surgery.

The hospital is extremely clean and tranquil.

Can highly recommend Phoenix Health.
