Wish I read the reviews before ordering. Very cheap looking with a horrible design that doesn't match the pictures online. Return process is also hit and miss with issues generating then printing the return label. For £200+ they look laughable. Avoid. Order number PILOEU-1979.

Appalling customer service – avoid

I purchased a pair of Piloti trainers for £150, ordering my usual UK size 8 in accordance with the company’s own sizing guidance.

Unfortunately, after wearing them for the first time, I discovered they were too tight and rubbed my heel badly enough to break the skin.

I contacted Piloti just 48 hours after delivery, explained the circumstances honestly and requested a straightforward exchange for a size 8.5. I wasn’t looking for a refund and genuinely liked the trainers.

Instead, I encountered slow responses, customer service representatives who couldn’t locate my order despite having the correct details, and eventually a blanket refusal to consider an exchange because the shoes had been worn once.

I appreciate that retailers need returns policies, but surely some reasonable discretion is appropriate when a customer discovers a sizing issue on their first wear.

After further correspondence, I formally requested a refund and asked for the matter to be escalated to management. Despite chasing repeatedly, I received no substantive response. Instead, I was sent an automated customer satisfaction survey relating to my unresolved complaint!

For a company selling premium footwear, I find this level of customer service astonishingly poor.

The irony is that I actually liked the product and would happily have accepted another pair in the correct size. Instead, Piloti have lost a customer through their complete unwillingness to find a reasonable solution.

Good-looking trainers, dreadful after-sales service. I certainly won’t be purchasing from them again.

Really horrible Customer Service. Shoe sizing can be difficult and if you get it wrong, know that you will be charged a handling fee if your exchange size is not available. Customer service wanted me to rebuy the correct size and then, return the others and await their refund less handling. If you are selling $225+ shoes, your client satisfaction should match...not the case with Piloti!

Customer experience and after sales support suck! They tried to blame it on me as if I don't know how to size my own shoes! What a joke of a company.

Attractive shoe, but the fit falls apart once you add an orthotics support pad. Even after sizing up half a size, the shoe becomes uncomfortably tight with the insert — something I haven't experienced with other brands using the same pad with the 1/2 size increase. Even without the arch support, the shoe isn't as comfortable as many comparable brands I've tried. Given the price, it doesn't hold up well against other similar shoes on the market.

Zero customer support. No phone number provided, only an email that noyone at Piloti ever even opens, let alone responds to. You can expect to be 100% ghosted. I will never buy another pair of Piloti shoes again, and wish I'd read review before making the purchase.

I'm not kidding. An exchange of 41 emails with customer support over weeks and I ended up with nothing. These guys are a total scam.

For premium shoes at premium prices, you would expect some response to emails or customer feedback. But alas no response and when I did chase and chase I only got an AI generated response which wasn’t helpful.
Glad I didn’t part with my money after reading other recent reviews. Such a shame as I have a few pairs and would have bought more.
Terrible in this day in age.

Utterly appalling service. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Hidden import duties of £74 for importing into the UK. No advice from them at all on this. First advice comes from DHL who hold you to ransom. Customer service is an AI tool which does not escalate to a human. If returning to change size you have to pay another £74 import duty and so it goes on. AVOID !!!

Terrible /No customer service and hidden taxes in UK

Ordered shoes (my second pair) now they have shipping again in Europe. Shoes arrived quickly but I got charged double taxes on UK import despite the site saying nothing more to pay and cant get any response from them just some AI bot. Shame they don’t bother with customer service but BEWARE HIDDEN COSTS IF IN UK

Great driving shoes. Terrible (non existent in this case) customer service. The shoes that were sent were not the shoes I ordered. And to make it worse, the shoes they sent are significantly cheaper than the shoes I was charged for.
I have reached out to Piloti several times now with no response. I have had a shipping issue with Piloti before and the customer service was exemplary but this time, to be completely ignored, almost appears as though they have deliberately sort to rip me off. Without any communication that is the only conclusion I can make.
Great shoes. Buy them. You won’t be disappointed. Just be prepared that you may not get what you actually paid for.

Horrible customer service! I was really looking forward to getting these shoes and I have yet to receive them. Piloti tells me via an email to check with the shipper they chose. The shipper will not answer phone or emails. I keep going in a circle with Piloti and the shipper with no help!! I want my shoes or my money back.

I really like the shoes. Bought them with an enormous discount with an affiliate link before. They fit well and do what they need to do, give a comfotable ride.

But now that I want to order another pair I remembered the shipping cost.
Why is a shoe thats made in portugal that already has a hefty price tag cost 44 euro to ship to belgium?

Its too much in total.

I have never received the shoes, non existent customer support. I had to file a complain at PayPal, which they solved. My funds were blocked for two months overall. Beware!

No customer service. No response to emails. No other way to contact them. Shoes never arrived so lost USD 300.

I got scammed, I thought it was a legit company.

I read these mostly negative reviews and wonder what company people are dealing with. None of these bad reviews reflects any of my interactions with Piloti.

For started all of the styles I own from them are among some the most comfortable shoes I own. Not just for driving but for wear throughout the day. Maybe it’s just me, but I can wear these all day. They fit snuggly but not too snugly and feel like a natural extension of my foot when I wear them.

I’m about 10 pairs of shoes in at this point. Every single one has been delivered on time, or ahead of schedule, and has been the exact product and size I ordered. Every. Single. One.

The only issue I have had with was ordering a pair of shoes and realizing too late that I had failed to use an available discount. This was on Friday evening after business hours. I sent an email to the address listed on my order confirmation email as well as their support email. I fully expected to not see a response until Monday morning. Within 2 hours I had emails from both addresses saying that my order had been canceled and my $ refunded. Checking my payment method showed that indeed payment had already been refunded. On a Friday evening. After business hours.

Does it get any better than that?

Non existent customer service. They dscammed me of several hundred pounds. I ordered shoes. They sent a completely differnt pair (wrong shoe / wrong size etc) and when I tried to contact customer service I never got a response and this is despite 15emails and multiple messages on instagram. They are SCAMMERS!!!!
Do not give them any money!!!

I purchased 3 pairs of shoes from Piloti - 2 x pairs arrived in good order the 3rd was either moldy or 2nd hand (been used and returned). I have emailed Piloti 3 times and they have not replied. Very disappointing! I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Purchased on 2nd Feb 2025. Took the added kick in the nuts of shipping and duty to the UK. Shoes looked good but uncomfortable so arranged a return. Return accepted by Piltoti so shipped back to US. Delivered 6th March 2025. 3 emails with no response. Facebook messenger response someone would get in touch. Still nothing. Would highly recommend avoiding.

Update 25/03/25 - Piloti acknowledged return and refunded. Added a star for the refund.

Update: After leaving this review, Customer support did reply to me and extended my return since I emailed them ahead of my return deadline. I am more satisfied, but there is much room for improvement on their response times.

Customer service is a joke, as in it doesn't seem to actually exist. Trying to find a way to exchange/return on their website is very difficult. I ordered the wrong size for my boyfriend's Christmas gift and followed their customer service prompts on their website chat and on their SEO listing to inquire about exchanging a pair of shoes. It has been over a month now and they still have not responded. I finally did a deep dive to find a very hidden exchange page and of course, now it says I'm past my return date. I am very unhappy that I'll now likely have to sell this size on the market a they don't fit him and I'll be buying a replacement pair from another company, solely because I can't support this business model. It's so disappointing, because he loves the shoes themselves and owns several pairs.
