Took delivery of 18 beautifully mate pebble handles today - each in a sealed little box, packed in a big box with each component including the screw individually wrapped in pretty branded tissue paper which was TOTALLY UNNECESSARY not only in the time to unwrap everything but also for the amount of waste which goes straight into the recycling bin. You are an online retailer - your items are sold without the need to ‘wrap’ them and I would like to know what the additional cost per item this adds? In this day and age it isn’t required and Plank need to do better

I’ve bought from Plank before, so when renovating my kitchen I ordered two ceiling lights. Less than a week later, I noticed the same lights were reduced in their Black Friday sale. I emailed to ask if they’d consider refunding the price difference, especially as returning and repurchasing was already an option.

Instead of doing that, they insisted I return the original order. It felt unnecessarily awkward and not very eco-friendly, with items being shipped back and forth for no real reason.

They received the return on 1 December, but the refund wasn’t even processed until I chased it up by email on 18 December. I actually received the money sometime later. It made me wonder whether it would have happened at all if I hadn’t followed up.

I was also confused by the product ratings. The description states the light is 4W but says it can take a G9 dimmable or non-dimmable bulb, LED or incandescent. Being able to use a non-LED bulb was actually a selling point for me, as I’m sensitive to LED flicker. However, my electrician confirmed there aren’t any incandescent bulbs that match that rating, which makes the description feel misleading.

Overall, the products themselves are great, but the customer service and product information feel a bit sloppy and more complicated than they need to be.

We recently ordered some gorgeous brass knobs and light switches and are so happy with the items we’ve received. The quality is excellent, and delivery was really quick. We’ll definitely be buying from Plank again.

Excellent quality

I ordered two dimmable light switches (2 way and 3 way). I hired an electrician to install them properly. Unfortunately one of them has what I suspect to be a production error and the dimmer poits in a strange angle and the the middle switch of the second one does not work at all. I have reached out to the customer care team and their proposed solution to turn the buster by 180 degrees is not working. Since then I have not heard back anymore.
Given the price, this is very disappointing and I would not recommend the product even though I find the switches the most beautiful design I have found so far.

Hardware product was very good quality, but utterly let down by customer service. These are premium costly products and customer service likewise needs to be quality. They provide 25mm screws as standard, my cabinets are quality solid oak and 25mm thick, so I'm left, after spending hundreds of pounds unable to fit my new hardware! This is a minor issue, but deflates the excitment around the purchase as I cannot fit what has just arrived.
Do you think I care about the fact items are wrapped fancy tissue paper right now?!

Rubbish! Ordered handles for a project carpenter coming next week. Confirmation said to be dispatched within two working days but backplates unavailable until Sept. Not ideal but I thought I’ll just add them later. After a week I chased as heard nothing. Was told handles on pre order too. This is rubbish and contrary to the confirmation I received I have pics which I sent to Plank. All they would offer was a refund this isn’t the end of the world but when you are planning home builds it’s important to provide accurate information to your customers and offer better solutions when your company is in the wrong. If I hadn’t chased I’d have no handles at all for next week! And I’ll now have to pay extra to another company for next day delivery. Thanks Plank! Order #1782127151

Great service - beautiful knobs, purchased three types for all my kitchen handles. All exactly as pictured, nice quality and arrived in days. If you’re deciding between Plank and Meraki - choose Plank as they fulfill their orders and Meraki dont!

Absolutely nothing wrong with the company, great products at a brilliant price. The knobs we ordered look fantastic and arrived in good time. However….you can’t phone them but have to rely on an email response. Any company that refuses to speak to customers on a phone leaves me feeling cold. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars.

Placed an order for over £300, waited 2 weeks and still no delivery. Have emailed twice for an update, no reply. Phone line is a call back service, no call back. Would never recommend or use again. Still no idea where my order is or how i'm going to get my money back.
