Awful outdoor lights. The cables are fixed and can’t be changed and there is no room to fit lighting circuit cables in them. They have a 20cm fixed cable that isn’t long enough to go through a wall. Would never use again. Returns are hard work too.

Although I was expecting the lampshade to be damaged because if the appalling state of the box and the rudeness of the DPD driver, the lampshade was impeccably wrapped inside the box and well protected from excternal mishandling. It was dispatched very quickly and is of good quality. Expensive for what it is, being fairly basic.

I bought 3 sets of bedroom wall lights recently for my new house to which I shall be moving soon. The lights are not yet up so I can't really comment yet but the looks and quality seem, on a first look to be as good as i expected. I hope I shal not be disappointed!

The customer service at Pooky is always faultless. I recently placed an order for the Wrappling Standing lamp which is truly beautiful and a very good price for a brass floor lamp.
The whole purchase was made much easier by knowing there was someone in customer service to speak to. Beth was very helpful processing my order and discount within the same day.

The lamps are beautiful and very well made. Delivery was perfect and the instructions clear.

My only issue is they are not very bright and if you have 2 In one room it’s difficult to turn one on as the remote switches both on!

Pooky are individual, their designs are unusual, with a vast selection to suit every home...innovating, one design particularly of retro influence, regarding the beautiful folded fan shades, which are truly beautiful...

I purchased a very different design based on a Mushroom, as l love oriental influence, it reminded me of a Chinese Coolie Hat...I am absolutely delighted with it and although my house is traditional it still blends.

Customer Services are excellent...good communication skills and willing to help and prioritise the would be buyer.

I did happen to return an item, however, it could not have been easier, Ami who initiated the procedure and Beth whom I communicated with mostly, were both lovely... everything was sorted in a trice, within a few days....excellent...

Pooky web site is easy to peruse and it appears to me that the company's ethos is of one that promotes traditional attitudes whilst constantly evolving to maintain design with good business standards....

During this economic crisis, it is not easy, one has to acknowledge competition, which is healthy, however, it is important to be aware, the consumers are stilted in their spending, it is important to recognise this and make their Company one of the best...

Lovely products, and reasonably priced for the high quality. Also, very easy to return if something doesn't work out. I have five Pooky lamps, two standard and three rechargeable, all wonderful additions to my flat. Have had the two standard ones for eight years with no problems.

The selection of products was very good and the items arrived in perfect packaging and condition. They looked just as good up close as in the pictures. The shipping prices are, unfortunately, very high, as well as the custom fees when the products enter my country, in the EU. This alone would give me pause if I wanted to buy again. On the plus side, they arrived very fast and they were, as I said, great.

The lights themselves are great however I am based in Europe, so I had to pay a huge import tax bill to get them delivered.. shame

I love Pooky! I sent back a lampshade which I had changed my mind on. I didn’t check the status or refund. Pooky emailed me a few weeks later to apologise for not refunding. The delivery company had lost the lampshade, therefore, Pooky hadn’t received! After checking they contacted me to apologise and issued an immediate refund. Amazing service. Thank you Pooky!!

Absolutely gutted. I asked everyone for vouchers for my birthday and totalled about £400 which I used to buy 3 picture lights.

I am a MASSIVE fan of Pooky - my whole house is Pooky lamps and fittings, switches and shades, but these have left me gutted.

Firstly, you have to have the ugly part of the lamp with the charging holes and the on/off button facing the front or the remote doesn't work. Ugly, ugly, ugly.

The lamp colour is fixed, not changeable, so their dull, cheap orange light can't be used with art - it's a decorative thing only as it changes the colour of the paint too much. That shows it's not a professional light, just a decorative piece with no actual knowledge put in. I hate the colour, it needs to be a daylight/warm, not warm.

The lamps on full charge only give me 2-3 hours charge, not the advertised amount.

The cable is so small and short you are seriously limited to where you can charge - awful trouble to arrange and have to leave it hanging on the worktop - could they not have given you another meter so it worked properly?

The remote is a basic Chinese component that you get with £7 picture lights on Temu, but they have added a bulky gold cover which doesn't match the light, so you are left with a tacky look of mismatched finishes. Even with the 'eye' on show, I have to move about 8ft away for it to turn on an off which utterly defeats the object!

Sadly we have had these since April as we delayed fitting them, and I didn't keep the packaging, so a really nasty reminder of a failure of a birthday treat for myself from all my friends and family.

Gutted. Ny advice is there are much better on the market for less money - look around. Get one with a choice of colours (which, again, even the Temu ones have mastered) and make sure the charging cable is longer and the 'gubbins' go at the back of the light so they're hidden.
