Propermusic.com is part of the Proper Music Group Ltd and was launched as an online store in October 2011 to supply music CD's, Vinyl, Bx Sets etc... direct to customers at competitive prices with an exceptional level of customer service. We've been supporting independent record labels and music since 1988. Our main aim is to provide an online shop window for the kinds of specialist music from artists and labels that you would not otherwise have the opportunity to find or discover in stock elsewhere. Our sister company, Proper Music Distribution is the largest independent distributor in the UK and we are able to supply music from over 2000+ labels from all over the world, regularly releasing over 150 new releases or re-issues every week. We employ dedicated and experienced staff who provide a polite and professional level of customer service through our extensive product knowledge from working within the music industry for many years. All our orders are despatched using a first class or airmail service with Royal Mail (Tracked as standard for all UK orders, optional for ROW) or via our network of courier services. Your opinion matters greatly to us and our reputation relies on it, so any feedback good or bad would be greatly appreciated and most welcomed. Your total satisfaction with our service is our ultimate goal.

CDs arrived quickly and were as promised.
First time purchaser from this site - was directed from a specific artist and then bought a couple more CDs. Only thing that put me off was the large number of out of stock items on the website, and the website’s search facility was not great.

Unfortunately, Out Of Stocks are out of our hands as we rely entirely on stock availability direct from the record labels, but we always endeavour to improve that situation as much as we can.

Highly rate this company - my order was dispatched quickly and arrived less than 48 hrs later. Great comms and easy to navigate the site. I’d been let down by another company who lost the vinyl I ordered for my partners birthday so was delighted with the service I got from Proper Music - will definitely buy from th again

Great experience
Item was processed and delivered quickly. It was well-packaged and in good condition, with a paper invoice and return envelope helpfully included. Would definitely buy from PM again to keep indie artist careers sustainable!
