Only Six Weeks of Limted Use; My Bag is Already Deteriorating!
When I wrote my original review, I said I would come back and provide an honest update after I'd had an opportunity to actually use the bag. Unfortunately, this is not the update I was hoping to give.
Let me start with what Queenira got right. The image on the bag is absolutely beautiful. It looks exactly like the photos on the website, and I received it in about three weeks. Everywhere I carry it, people compliment it. It is a gorgeous, eye-catching bag.
Now for the part I wish I didn't have to write.
I purchased this bag on March 25 for my birthday and received it in April. Just six weeks later (yes, six weeks!) the bag is already showing signs of major deterioration. On both sides of the bag, the printed exterior material has cracked and begun lifting to the point that I can see the cushioning underneath. In addition, the screen-printed image itself is beginning to peel.
What makes this particularly disappointing is that I have taken great care of this bag. I don't carry it every day. I rotate between several handbags, so its use has been limited. Given how little wear this bag has actually seen, I would never have expected it to begin breaking down this quickly.
What made the experience even more disappointing was the response I received when I reached out to the company. I contacted Queenira to understand how they would address a bag that was deteriorating after such a short period of time. I was told that the bag should not be exposed to sunlight, humidity, or hard surfaces because those conditions could cause damage. I live in North Carolina, where heat and humidity are normal conditions for several months of the year. Their client care experience ends 7 days after delivery, and the only solution offered was a 20% coupon toward the purchase of another bag.
After taking great care of the bag and using it only sparingly, I was essentially told that the bag is not designed to withstand normal, everyday use. Handbags are meant to be carried outside! They will encounter sunlight, varying weather conditions, and normal surfaces. If a bag begins deteriorating after six weeks and the explanation is that it was exposed to ordinary environmental conditions, that raises serious concerns about its quality and durability.
I loved the look of the first bag so much that I purchased a second one before I discovered these issues. That's how much I wanted to support this brand.
Unfortunately, I feel obligated to let other buyers know that, in my experience, this company has not yet mastered the premium product experience. A premium bag should be more than pretty; it should also be durable. Six weeks is simply too soon for a bag to be cracking, peeling, and separating.
My advice to potential buyers is this: if you're just looking for a pretty bag that gets compliments, you'll like it. If you're looking for a premium-quality purchase with the durability and craftsmanship that should accompany the price point, this is not it! It's a beautiful bag, but based on my experience, beauty is where the value ends.
As someone who genuinely wants to support Black-owned businesses, writing this review is disappointing. I wanted this company to succeed. What bothers me the most is that the brand positions itself as a celebration and protection of African American art, culture, and representation. If you choose to stand in that space, then the quality of the product should reflect that same level of pride and excellence. Our culture deserves more than beautiful imagery printed on a bag that begins deteriorating within weeks and a company unwilling to stand behind it.
At this point, Queenira appears to prioritize style over substance. In my opinion, Queenira has not yet mastered durability, quality, or the premium experience their products promise.
P.S. I stopped by a shoe leather repair store to see if it could be repaired. He politely shared "This is vinyl, not leather. It can't be repaired. You paid for the name and image. It is only going to get worse. Only use it for special occasions."

Queenira, whereâs my bag?
I ordered a bag for my wife and also a wallet. It was during the Christmas rush so I expected some delay. Well I got the wallet in February and the bag never showed up. After contacting Queenira they said it was the shipping company and it was up to me to contact them. I then got a failed delivery notice from them in March. Queenira said any item returned to them due to failed delivery are destroyed! If I still wanted the bag, I have to send them $110 for re-shipping. I asked for a refund instead and was slapped in the face that they cannot issue me a refund and they blamed the shipping company. I capitulated and sent them the money for re-shipping. Itâs May, and nope, no bag! This is definitely a fraudulent business! Do NOT Buy from them! By the way the wallet was not as pictured on their website and of cheap quality.

This place is a scam. If I could give minus, minus zero rating I would. I ordered and paid for a clutch purse. $59.98. Not only was the purse I received not the one pictured in the advertisement, but the quality of the material is cheap plastic. They will not allow me a refund claiming there has to be a defect in the product. The whole thing is defective from the advertising to the lack of quality in the product received.
