I placed an order for some “Enviromesh Netting Bird and Pest Protection (6mx3.66m)” and a “Chillington Heavy Duty Wide Canterbury - FORK - Hoe With Handle” on 22/06/2023. After enquiring on 28/06 for an update, I was told my order was due for despatch the following day (29/06). I made another enquiry today (03/07) and was informed that this particular size of Enviromesh was never in stock in the first place, and that the Chillington Hoe was never dispatched as promised. Whilst I appreciate that some errors are hard to avoid, I at least expect transparency and if I am being told different versions of events on different days then it will obviously lead me to lose trust in the company. This lack of communication has led to wasting nearly two weeks of the growing season, meaning my brassicas will be planted out later than is ideal due to not having the correct mesh to cover them with, which I will now have to source elsewhere and be delayed even further by the delivery time. If the company had communicated properly I would’ve been able to react quicker to the problem and not have so much of my time wasted. I also found it impossible to get through to the company via telephone but in all fairness their live chat was fairly efficient so I have awarded a point for that. All things considered however I will not be shopping here again and would urge others to email ahead for stock updates before placing an order. Even then though I suppose it’s no guarantee going by my experience and they certainly haven’t lived up to the name of “Quickcrop” on this occasion.

I am extremely satisfied with the high-quality garden tools I found at this store. They have proven to be reliable and sturdy, withstanding the demands of my gardening projects.

I have recently purchased the 200 litre Hotbin from Quickcrop, at a very competitive price. Unfortunately, delivery failed four days running with no reasonable excuse or prior notification, which was very frustrating. However, the Quickcrop customer service team was exceptional, responding promptly to my emails, apologising and chasing up the third party courier, who finally delivered two weeks after I placed my order, Hotbin intact. Apart from the poor service from Tuffnells courier, I'm really pleased with my purchase and hope that Quickcrop is able to quickly resolve their delivery issues going forward.

I've tried a lot of different gardening supplies over the years, but I've never found anything quite like what this store has to offer. Their products are truly outstanding.

I have just bought another gro grid planting mat for onions after getting great success with one this year despite the dry weather. A great product to use. Thanks.

I'm using this site to get information before buying. I saw the Hungry Bin in New Zealand and thought it was an excellent idea. However nearly £300 for a compost bin - phew! Has anyone bought one of these and how long have they had it and are they worth it? I will treat myself if I have any positive responses. Thanks.

We have bought raised beds and accessories from Quickcrop for a few years now and find the quality is first class and the price range is very competitive. The beds are easy to assemble and are available in different sizes to suit individual needs. The website has very useful information for gardeners who want to grow their own crops. Their customer facing skills are excellent and they have given us great support in the past so we do have confidence in this company.

Trouble is one can't prove or disprove that seaweed is doing a power of good. Alys Fowler recommended Seafeed which was I started using it. And I have always had faith in seaweeds as a crop fertilizer since a childhood visiting the Hebrides.
Truth is that if you are concerned enough about the health of your soil, you will be composting and digging and my guess is that seaweed is going to be another good friend to your worms, veg and beyond.

Arrived well packed. Can't tell how good it will be as needs time for find this out.

The raised bed arrived in good time and is of a good quality. It was very easy to put together and is now a feature used for containing drought resistant plants in our garden.

Really pleased with my composter. Efficient service; very quick compared with what other companies were offering.

Excellent… ordered one a year ago and now want more!

Unfortunety, the cross members are split and have come away from sides of the frame - I would imagine that the screws have been tighted to much causing the timber to split - I will have to replace the damaged bits before construction begins.

Delivery took over two weeks. Despite our order confirmation telling us we'd be notified when our package was dispatched, we received no dispatch/delivery info at all. We're happy with the product though.

The wormery - a perfect birthday gift for a new octogenarian! Very prompt delivery, easy assembly (as indicated), and comprehensive instructions provided, telling us how to keep worms happy and productive. Have yet to set-up as a wormery requires worms, and during a heat-wave is definitely NOT the right time to expect worms to travel. Quickcrop really rocks!

Appears to be of good quality spring steel, only time will tell.

Just finished making the above item. Mostly good apart from a slight warp in one of the 9inch 6 ft boards - I assume QuickCrop QA checking didn't work there! Anyway, it wasn't worth sending back and the finished bed looks great and sturdy. I would use QuickCrop again

Disappointed to be writing this review. Did loads of research and based on site reviews, price and product decided to buy. Order placed and money taken online. Since then....nothing! Contact Quickcrop by phone and advised they 'weren't delivering because of stock taking(strange way to do business!)'. Advised it would be with us 'soon'...since then...nothing. Emailed customer services to be sent strange content referring to Tuffnells. Contacted Tuffnells - they know nothing about it and can't see deliveries on their system 'until the day of delivery'. Referred us back to....you've guessed it...Quickcrop. Completely exasperated. This is bizarre and poor. They have our money and we've received a one line email to confirm that. We need to know the delivery date! This is not unreasonable - this is a big delivery - someone needs to be here. Why is it completely impossible for the supplier to confirm this. Very unhappy and this has definitely taken the enjoyment out of this project.
