I have an old, but perfectly adequate for my needs, laptop. The only problem being it was extremely slow both on booting up and working on and beteen programmes. As such I contacted David of Raetek enquiring if anything could be done to resolve the problem. David quickly got back to me advising changing from a HD to SSD along with a system clean up would make a big difference. I had the work done and am astounded the change the "mods" have made, all done at a good price and quick turnaround time. I think the best way to describe the outcome was that I gave David a rowing boat and he gave me back a high speed motor launch!
Suffice to say I would highly recommend Raetek to anyone and certainly be my first approach for any future advice or work.

Dave came out to the house within 24hrs. He identified the problem and fixed my laptop in less than 15 minutes. Nice chap, very reasonable price for the work. We will use again - highly recommend.

When my ancient iMac was on the verge of giving up the ghost, I got in touch with Dave. Not only was he able to rescue all my data, after discussing options with him, he upgraded the hard drive and machine now performs like it’s just out of the box. Prompt reply, great customer service and a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend RAETEK to anyone with computer problems.

after moving in I couldn't get my broadband sorted or connected, I contacted David who came out straight away, a brilliant fast efficient service.

My old computer was basically slow and past it and with Windows 11 the new must have it was either buy a new computer or get the old one upgraded. A new one was going to cost a lot so I looked for a computer repair/ upgrade service online. I found a site called: Your Local Computer & Laptop repair experts.
You go on the site then put your postcode in and the most local to you repair man comes up, in this case it was David Raeburn, I contacted him and told him the situation. He picked the computer up from my house and a few days later brought back a computer that now has Windows 11 on it and is lightning fast and all for way less than I would have paid for a new computer. I highly recommend this man.

Dave is a pleasant competent engineer who has always solved our problems.
He always answers text messages and fits in an appropriate appointment. A very reliable person.
