With the Railboard iPhone or iPad app, you can save lots of money by finding super-cheap split train tickets. Plus, you have easy access to live train times powered by National Rail Enquiries.
With Split Tickets, our clever algorithms find combinations of tickets that together offer the same journey but at a lower price than a regular ticket.

Excellent! Additional info about actual journey is really useful so I don’t have to use another app. It’s taken a long time for someone to invent an app that pulls all the information together in one place. Provisional platform arrivals would be really useful but actually you might already do that?

This is FAKE and a SCAM site. Someone used my card to book a journey I never embarked upon, and robbed and reaped me of almost 80 pounds. Reported to the bank and going through a fraud investigation

Hi Emmanuel,
I’m sorry to hear someone has used your card fraudulently.
When the booking was made, all the correct card details were supplied, and the purchase was authenticated with 3D Secure (meaning your card provider authenticated the payment).
You contacted Customer Support, and we replied 6 minutes later requesting details about the transaction (the last 4 digits of the card, the transaction amount, and the date) so we could locate it. But you never responded to us.
We’re still here to help; just reply to that email or send a new one to Customer Support. Also, reporting the issue to your card issuer and initiating a fraud investigation was the correct response.
But just to be clear, as your review alleges that Railboard is somehow at fault here, we take a series of steps to ensure that only legitimate transactions are processed. If a transaction passes those tests, which include having all the correct card details and passing 3D Secure authentication, then it is deemed a legitimate transaction.
And when someone reports fraudulent use of their card, we do everything we can to assist with the investigation and, if possible, help the person get their money back from the bank (who authenticated the transaction with 3D Secure).

Hi,
I’m really sorry to hear you’ve been the victim of fraud and for the financial loss you’ve suffered as a result. I can appreciate how distressing that is and the financial cost.
Unfortunately, because all the correct card details were supplied, the purchase was authenticated with 3D Secure (meaning your card provider authenticated the payment), and the tickets have already been used for travel, we cannot issue a refund.
As we mentioned when you contacted Customer Support, you need to report it to your card issuer, who can investigate and return the funds to you. We also recommend freezing the affected card immediately and replacing it.
If you want to take it further, you can also report it to the police:

We will help in any way we can, but I want to be clear that we were not involved in any fraud whatsoever. We take a series of steps (such as requiring 3D Secure authentication) to try to ensure that only legitimate transactions are processed. Ultimately, this is an issue for your bank to sort out.

An Essential APP
Railboard is an essential app for anyone travelling by train in the UK. It's particularly useful when you have connections to make, as it provides up-to-date arrival and departure information in real time. Being able to see delays, platform changes and live train movements makes it much easier to plan your journey and decide whether to wait, change plans or make a connection. I wouldn't want to travel by rail without it.
