I decided not to accept their offer to join because I was staying with Tomato Energy I got a message from British Gas saying I had been passed on to them by Rebel Energy as if I'd been with rhem

RebelEnergy have taken money from my account without ever supplying me any energy , how is this legal?

asked for smart meter 55 times now
keep getting told i will recieve phone call for appointment
this has now been 4 years and i am still waiting
Avoid rebel at all costs
also been told for 3 years that the app will update soon to allow set up of direct debit
still no joy with this either
this company are not to be trusted whatsoever

Very reassuring, I spoke to a lady called Janine who helped me with my first bill. I was worried tbh, but all my questions where answered, very straight forward, friendly and easy to understand :) I've just moved in and I had never heard for Rebel Energy before, I was going to switch but now I'm happy to stay :) thank you! ♡

So after a fortnight after my last review, I am still being ignored. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Obviously profit comes before customer service. I will be looking for a new supplier.

On switching to them, gave them my bank details for the direct debit. When the first payment didn't go through I told them. Said they'd set it up. That didn't happen. Failed four times. No one checked that my address they inputted wasn't incorrect. Also received an email from them the other day stating my direct debit needed to increase. First of all they can't set up the direct debit correctly, secondly they want to change the amount to more than double my monthly usage in the winter, were in the spring/summer months everyone's usage goes down. Especially my two bedroom Terrace House equipping with 14 Solar Panels facing Due South at an angle of 0° meaning the sun passers direct over the top of the house. The moment the sun rises, I'm generating electricity right up to the point the sun sets.

No wonder they have ceases trading!!!

Oooh great customer service and the agents are quite patient and don't mind explaining things to you many times. I was very happy with their service.

There was a mistake in the meter reading while the property was vacant, and I landed with an over £700 energy bill. It took me a long time to investigate and clarify before we got a correct energy bill of less than £20. There is room for improvement in its meter reading mechanism and dispute resolution process.

I appreciate the effort of its staff, Caitlin and Chasity, especially Chasity, who did a great job to help me resolve the matter in the most satisfactory way.

I had a great experience with rebel energy, called in to verify my bill and it was cancelled because it was an estimated bill, the customer service was great and attentive to my plight and questions, gradually lead m to understand and fixed a reasonable direct debit, it was a wonderful time and experience.

Nathi was very thorough at looking through my account and going through everything with me. My query was dealt with very quickly and very efficiently. Very happy with this service.
