Huge shout out to the team at RedSpot Car Rentals Melbourne Airport — especially Will, Anna and Chris. After a stressful start to my trip and being unexpectedly left without a car by another provider, the team at RedSpot genuinely stepped in to help. From the moment I walked in, they were empathetic, calm, solution-focused and incredibly personable. You could tell they genuinely cared about helping me get back on track rather than just processing another booking. Chris worked with me to find a solution for my 5-day rental and completely turned my day around. The customer service was exceptional — professional, understanding and refreshingly human. I was also given a near-new vehicle with only 8,000kms on it, which made the whole experience even better.In a world where customer service often feels transactional, the team at RedSpot stood out for all the right reasons. I’m extremely grateful for their help and will absolutely be coming back again.

When I picked up the car ,it was filthy couldn't see out the windscreen ,smear all over it ,hadn't been vacummed just in an untidy way .And then when I dropped the car off I was and Hour later and they charged me a full day considering when I rented the car I was told it was ok to be a little late ,due to the road interruptions and the driveway being hidden I didn't find it a couple of times had to go round and round to finally get in there .

I honestly cannot thank Redspot Car Hire at Melbourne Airport enough.
I flew down urgently because my dad has cancer, carrying a newborn and a heart that already felt heavy. By the time I landed I was exhausted, emotional, and completely overwhelmed. My newborn baby started crying while I was trying to sort paperwork and luggage, and I felt that familiar wave of “I cannot do all of this at once.”
And then the team stepped in.
Lena, Wafa and Adele, were beyond incredible. They didn’t just process a booking, they cared. Lena helped calm my baby while I gathered myself, and the whole team moved with such warmth and understanding. They reassured me, worked efficiently, and treated me like a human being, not just another customer in line.
In the middle of a really hard season for my family, they were calm, compassionate, and genuinely kind. That kind of service isn’t just good customer service, it’s heart.

Car a bit old, window shaky and not air tight. Condition of car was dirty and smelly inside. Many scratches were not known to me and I had to take pictures and emailed you before i started driving. But the handling over was swift.

All from pick up tp return was excellent

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! RENTED A CAR FROM THEM FROM MELBOURNE AIRPORT. LEFT AT 9.30AM, THE CAR BROKE DOWN 1 HOUR LATER AND I WASTED THE WHOLE DAY WAITING FOR A TOW TRUCK AND HAVING TO RETURN TO THE DEPOT FROM WHICH I FINALLY LEFT AT 7.30PM. NO CREDIT, NO OFFER SWAP VEHICLE ON THE BROKEN DOWN LOCATION, NO NOTHING. 2 MONTHS LATER I AM STILL TRYING TO COMMUNICATE WITH THEM AND AFTER 3 EMAILS AND 2 PHONE CALLS THERE IS NO SIGN OF LIFE FROM THEM. AND I WAS STILL CHARGED FOR THE DAY I COULD NOT USE THE CAR!!! WHO DOES BUSINESS LIKE THIS??? NEVER EVER EVER!!!!!! USE THIS PEOPLE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

There were problems as we had booked via booking.com. (will never use them again) Lana at Redspot was super helpful and was able to help us overcome the obstacles and we were able to enjoy the rest of the holiday. Thank you Lana

The staff were excellent, the car was dirty inside and the system to take photos of the vehicle did not work as the internet was very poor in the Melbourne airport parking pick location.A problem known to staff but apparently ignored by managemeny

I want to give a good review but Rita convinced me to prepay for fuel, reminded me a few times to not fill up, and then never put it on my contract. So I returned the car near empty and now have been charged huge extra fees. Still awaiting a resolution.
