I called Repair Aid to fix my Samsung refrigerator. The repair involved replacing a heat element. Two visits were required at approx £42 per visit, the engineer was efficient and pleasant, however the company charged me in excess of £90.00 for a part that was readily available on the internet for £36.36. When I challenged the office about the 200% mark up they were adamant that the charge should remain, no hint even of negotiation. I'm preparing to take further steps to prevent others being caught by this company's inexcusable profiteering.

My American style fridge freezer developed an intermittent defrost. I reported this on a Friday and Repair Aid booked me in for their first available slot on the following Monday. The engineer was obviously very well trained and was happy to explain how he was going to diagnose the fault and what needed to be replaced to fix it. He fixed it rapidly and was very polite throughout. Thoroughly recommended!

Brilliant, easy to arrange, came exactly when they said they would, fixed the problem and charged a lot less than branded engineers would.
