The Retirement Homesearch team facilitated the sale in an efficient and professional manner, esoecially in terms if providing communications link between Buyer, Seller and their respective solicitors. Would thoroughly recommend their services.

Excellent services from Rachel Hazel -sale team .. I cannot praise this lady enough for all her hard work and consistently helpful nudging to make sure my dad gets to his new home. I recently used Retirement Homesearch and sadly had a very disappointing experience overall. The sales negotiator Mandy at the start was excellent, prompt, professional and really supportive, which gave me confidence initially.

However, the sales progressor completely let the process down. She has I believe an unprofessional voicemail explaining that she’s usually on hold to solicitors for long periods, so it’s best to email any questions as she can answer those while waiting. This felt unacceptable, especially given that Retirement Homesearch is meant to specialise in supporting older people moving into retirement properties.

There was no real understanding or compassion for the fact that this was an 80-year-old moving into a retirement flat. Shockingly, the progressor thought it was perfectly reasonable to exchange and complete within 24 hours, purely because both the agent and the seller’s solicitor failed to manage the process properly from the start.

All in all, despite the good start from the Mandy, the overall service was very poor, and I would not recommend this agency, particularly for those who need the care and patience you would expect when buying a retirement home.

Very good experience selling probate flat in Cheltenham with Retirement Homesearch. Rachel Hazell was great, as was Dawn Burrows - our invaluable 'home progressor'. She was so kind and responsive and excellent go-between for us and our buyer solicitor. She also kept me sane when our conveyancers (DC Law/Simplify - don't use them!) were awful and doing nothing for 2 months..

I was on my own and feeling overwhelmed, but Rachel Hazel was really helpful and gave some excellent advice which helped me to look at more options.
The managers at the over 55's places were also very helpful and encouraging. The lovely Melanie even let me stay in their guest suite, on the recommendation of Rachel, so I could get a feel for the place and the area. I couldn't have done it without her and Rachel so thank you ladies. Lynn and Beverly too at the other places I viewed.
They all helped to boost my confidence to take this next step and find the right place for me.

The service was fantastic especially from Charlotte Harvey who was always at the end of the phone or email. The flat that I have just sold I had been trying to sale (on and off) for 5 years using the High Street Estate Agents to no avail but once I put up with Retirement Homesearch it sold quickly, also a big shout out too for Karen the Warden who does the viewings and sales the concept of living in one of these flats.
