Initially good communication during the survey booking process but they breached their own quoted 5 working days turnaround and chaser emails were not responded to, although phone calls were answered by an administrator. Given excuses and apologies and had to make more phone calls before we got the survey report. We accepted an environmental report by way of an apology but at the time of this review, over a month later, we're still waiting for it, despite more phone calls. Edit: they have now withdrawn the goodwill offer of an environmental report as they said they were dependent on a third party app and have been unable to secure it's release. I would not recommend this company. Overall poor communication, breached turnaround times and empty goodwill gestures.

We have consistently found Rosecrest Group Ltd’s expert reports to be professional, detailed, and highly reliable. In particular, their CPR Part 35-compliant reports and damp and mould investigations are thorough and clearly presented, making them well-suited for litigation purposes.

The staff have been consistently helpful, professional, and responsive throughout our dealings, which has made the instruction process straightforward and efficient.

Their reports have greatly assisted our clients in pursuing claims against their landlords by clearly identifying defects, causation, and the extent of disrepair. The findings have been instrumental in evidencing issues such as damp, mould, and structural defects, as well as ensuring that appropriate remedial works are identified and, in many cases, carried out by the landlord.

We have also found their process, communication, and turnaround times to be efficient. Overall, their input has added significant value to our cases, not only in supporting successful outcomes but also in helping secure appropriate compensation for our clients.

Wow. I almost considered not getting a survey at all after hearing that they weren’t useful. For peace of mind, I decided to get one of the most cost effective options in case I missed anything obvious.

Rose Crest went above and beyond. Excellent level of detail - everything from damp readings on particular parts of an attic to the cleanliness of the meter reading box downstairs. Photographs for everything. The information I received led to me pulling out of a purchase as I hadn’t noticed a pest situation and the level of damp in a critical area.

They’ve shown me that competitively priced services can still have high quality. I’ll be using them on my next property!

Would not recommend this company to anyone. Was not happy with the service received and they accepted no liability. Forced me to delete/amend my review and threatened me with proceedings. Made my first time buying process stressful and unenjoyable.

I recommend Rosecrest firm, and Phillipa, the chartered surveyor, who provided me with the report documenting serious damage to my flat, which was caused by multiple leaks that originated in the upper part of the building. This report has formed the very basis for my claim against the responsible and negligent party. Anika and Kevana, customer service, were responsive and prompt. All very helpful.

I had a leak underneath my sink and needed a plumber at short notice. I was really impressed with the service I received. The contractor arrived promptly, was extremely polite and well-mannered, and quickly got to work identifying and resolving the issue. Not only did he fix the leak efficiently, but he also took the time to explain what had caused it and gave me helpful tips to prevent future problems. He was more than willing to go above and beyond to make sure everything was in good working order before he left. Exceptional service – highly recommended!

I was purchasing a bungalow in Shaftesbury, Dorset, and needed a Homebuyers Level 2 Report in May 2025. Thus, I phoned around different companies and decided to go with Rosecrestgroupltd. I looked at their sample reports, which were highly structured and they gave concise details/recommendations. Anika Brown was great because I was dubious about online and worried whether the companies I contacted were genuine.
Anika gave me firm assurances and let me speak to the RICS surveyor. The surveyor wrote a very professional report and the company gave a highly competitive quote. Thus, I recommend Rosecrestgroupltd without any hesitation because I had a satisfying experience. Anika and the surveyor answered all of my questions, and that gave me confidence to take them on.

Rosecrest were very good regarding my party wall agreement, I have actually used them twice now and will of course use them again if needed.
