Absolutely disgusting - do not use.
David Berridge of Rothera Bray tried to use my daughter's life as a cash cow for Rothera Bray. He ignored all of my instructions, allowed my ex-partner to commit perjury and fraud and tried to persuade me to accept the results so that he could line his pockets.
He allowed District Judge Simon Buss to lie in his judgment and tamper with evidence unchallenged.
He allowed me to suffer a non-molestation order with no representation.
He allow Cafcass to recommend my applications to be dismissed because I complained.
I am now having to take this matter to the European Court of Human Rights.
Do not use this firm.

Nelissa made the whole process of setting up our estate after we have gone so easy and dare I say, her style made the experience an enjoyable one for such a morbid topic. She has a brilliant way of explaining the complex in a very simple pictorial representation making it it easy to decide the next course of action for our family. Extremely efficient and diligent - she was a pleasure to work with.

I needed to get my will written and chose Rothera bray solicitors because they had the deeds to my house in storage, I had not used a solicitor for many years and was a little nervous, but the ladies that met me soon put me at ease, the will was written and gave me exactly what I want to happen after my death, I don't want to think about that but I'm pleased it's been done, I would definitely recommend Rothera bray solicitors to anyone, and if I need to use a solicitor again I know where I'll be going.

David was great.. always positive but realistic on what to expect.. would highly recommend anyone needing help or advice on divorce

I recently instructed Rothera Bray Solicitors for a totting up/exceptional hardship case and cannot praise them highly enough. Despite some delays and inconsistencies on my part during case preparation, they remained professional, patient, and thorough throughout.
The solicitor expertly presented my circumstances to the Magistrates, resulting in a finding of exceptional hardship and no disqualification despite reaching 12 points. This outcome has protected my employment and family responsibilities.
Their communication was clear, their advice was sound, and their representation in court was excellent. I'm extremely grateful for their work during what was an incredibly stressful time.

I called this firm on the 13th of October 2025 for some help with a property dispute, I waited 3 weeks for an engagement letter which I reviewed and agreed to continue with, I placed £1,800 on a client account on the 5th of November and it has now been 11 weeks and I have had no contact with anyone? I have been sending polite emails asking for an update on the matter but I just get automatic reply or no reply at all ! have also tried direct numbers and they go to voicemail. Yesterday I emailed to terminate my engagement with them, no reply! So it appears it’s cost £1,800 to sign an engagement letter and to open a file ?! are they waiting for some more money ?! I’m not sure of my position?
It seems a lot of money to not even get to talk to a solicitor and get a small amount of advice.
Be careful around this issue of putting funds on account.

I recently had a legal issue I needed assistance with and was told of Rothera Bray by an aquaintance.
From my very first conversation with a very pleasant lady called Rebeca, my mind was put at ease.
Further conversations with Rebeca were just as informative and comfortable.
Further along the line I was then in conversations with Chelsey, who too was great. Very professional and informative.
I was kept up to date on a daily basis and the two people I mentioned truly made a terrible time, very manageable.
On the day of the hearing I met my advocate, Mr Michael Conlon. A true gentleman and someone who made a terrible few hours far easier for me due to his sound knowledge and court experience. It was an absolute pleasure to meet Mike even in unfortunate circumstances. He really was fantastic.

Marneya was helpful, friendly and clear throughout all our dealings. Our landlords solicitor was very slow at communicating but Marneya was always chasing and asking for updates. All our queries answered very quickly.

Sarah was superb! She motivated me to fight on, advised me on the law, guided me through the legal process and gave me confidence in court. It was a very difficult fight but together we achieved a most satisfactory conclusion. While Sarah was very professional, I felt she was my friend. A very professional solicitors. They always put my wishes and needs first . They were very friendly and efficient from start to finish , I can’t fault them .

The communication and professionalism were excellent, there were some delays but the outcome was achieved.

Appalling service. Contacted them regarding a dispute, sent them all the paperwork, waited 5 weeks for a response despite chasing them. Made a complaint so they sent me £50 compensation but refused to deal with my dispute. Totally wasted my time!

Having been using Rothera Bray (previously Woolley, Beardsleys and Bosworth) for almost the last 10 years, I can honestly say that it is by far the best solicitors that I have used, in the Loughborough area. Having used them between 25-30 times in that period, not just for house sales and purchases, but for other tasks too, their work on everything has been exceptional, prompt and meticulous. Everything is explained clearly and no question ever feels too silly to ask. Once thing that sets them apart from others, that I have used previously, is that they are always contactable, and reply quickly to any questions and updates, which I found wasn't the "norm" with other firms previously. This always made me felt like a valued client.

At this point, I must say a huge thankyou to Suzanne Riozzi, and her PA's over the years, who have been handling everything for me during this time. Her professionalism and dedication to her work, and clients, is second to none, and her time and effort has made the legal landscape for me personally, and for my work, a lot easier to navigate.
