I absolutely love the heavy weight of my sheet set, and the texture as well. The color is luscious. I washed them and they came out beautifully. I will definitely be buying more from Rough Linen soon. I have used Linen sheets exclusively for over 20 years and these are my favorite .

Rough Linen has continued to be my favorite here in our home, as well as for gift giving. This most recent time I had ordered a pack of kitchen towels early enough for an end of July birthday. In the meantime, the birthday girl texted asking if she had the correct site to order more of the same white linen towels. I replied that was the correct site, but could she wait until her birthday. She was so excited that I had ordered her a new supply. We love how clean they keep our glassware, and dishes. Thank you!

Within a few months of using my sheet, it developed a small hole. When I contacted their CS, they sent me fabric for me to patch it myself instead of just replacing it. 9 years later, I noticed that it is now falling apart and developing multiple holes in the middle where it was threadbare. I rotated this set with another linen set (bought at the same year) and my other sheet literally looks like new. I will not order from Rough Linen again. Their quality is low and their CS is bad.

I am really enjoying my linen bed cover in ink. It's the perfect color and the thin cover along with my top sheet is perfect for the summer. It washes beautifully. Highly recommend.

First time customer with Rough Linen. Quality product, prompt delivery and great customer service. Even without a customer phone number, they get back to you ASAP. Cannot recommend them enough. Already thinking Christmas gifts!

Just the best sheets and pillowcases around. I fell in love with linen bedding in France and this makes me feel as if I'm back there.

I ordered the Bella Linen Pinafore as a gift. It was needed by a specific date. Rough Linen notified me that the garment was being constructed. I called to make sure that it would be delivered by the time it was needed. The representative with whom I spoke was very polite and kind. We decided that if necessary the color could be changed to something already in stock. She promised to follow my order carefully and expedite shipping. The order arrived in time to be gifted, and it was the color I had ordered! It was a pleasure to work with someone who represented the company so well. It is a credit to Rough Linen that they have such an employee. Don’t hesitate to shop with Rough Linen!

The linen bread bag is a CRUST-saver! We love the crust on fresh baked bread and my nephew told me to try this instead of a ziploc (that takes all the fun out of crust). It works beautifully!

I read reviews and did what they suggested. I don't put the bread in anything on the first day. The second day I put it into the linen bag, and the 3rd day I put the linen bag (with the bread) into a ziploc. The combination keeps the bread crust just about perfect. We finish the bread within 5-6 days, and the crust is still good on the last day!

Exceptional linens, beautifully made, and high quality fabric. We bought the Orkney Linen summer cover, the St Barts duvet cover, and the Smooth sheet set plus some shams.

We don't need a duvet in summer, so we're using the duvet cover as a useful extra layer underneath the summer cover. This combination is somehow light and yet perfectly warm, just right.

We bought a lovely mix of different colours - Natural sheets, Fig duvet cover, Storm shams, and Forest summer cover. That might sound strange, but the colours all blend together beautifully, as they would in nature.

Very happy with this purchase, and the quality certainly feels like it is worth the indulgence.

The quality of the linen and the construction of the robe is typical of the high standards of rough linen. How do wearing and fast drying, I enjoy their products in my bathroom and kitchen and have no hesitation in recommending them to other people.

Elegant and well made! Beautiful material that feels so natural. We are very pleased with our purchase. It did take a long time to ship but they have excellent customer service who promptly provided updates. In the end it was definitely worth the wait.

On the topic of the smell many people have reported (I noticed it too, and then foolishly went by my memory of the site saying - it *used* to say - that the sheets were always washed and ready to use, so I didn't wash them first, uck), and the topic of the off-shore, third-world cheap labour now used to make the products, I note these policies and practices from another small US company, selling linen clothing:

I note also that the vast majority of recent positive reviews of the company on this site are from people with only one such review ever. Reviewing just one company negatively, as I have done, is understandable: some people come to a site like this only to complain, not to praise everything they've bought on-line. But only one positive review? These people never felt the urge to give a positive review to any other company, but they felt the urge to seek out this site to give a positive review to Rough Linen? Hmm.

Love love love the quality of the Rough Linen products. Their absolutely free sampler of fabrics is a bonus to coordinating my purchases with paint selections and lamp shade colors.

These were my first linen sheets, and I fear I am hopelessly spoiled. They are beautiful, comfortable and a delight to sleep in. Cool in the heat yet surprisingly warm when a little chilly, I am thoroughly pleased with them.

As far as customer service, I ordered from their website, which was easy to navigate, and received timely email updates about the progress of my order. The sheets are tastefully and minimally packaged and care instructions were included.

All in all, a pleasant experience.

Don’t know what takes so long to ship my order. And worst customer service ever!

Totally disappointed. Previous orders were wonderful. Most recent order was never shipped and communication was canned. The only positive was that a refund was issued. Will never order again.

These are amazing linen sheets compared to others I own! The workmanship is superb every stitch perfect. The summer blanket has perfect wide mitered edges. It’s clear the moment they come out of the box that they are far superior to other linen bedding. I was a little nervous about the long wait, but I now know it’s because of the attention to detail in making them.

Wonderful company to do business with, customer service is top notch! The quality of linen is superb, and packaged beautifully, you can tell there is love and care in the quality of product they put out. Will continue to purchase!!

Failed to fulfill order in time, now I am working to get a refund and acquire a robe from elsewhere. It is now one week late. I would not advise ordering from this company as there is little communication, only an email address to reach them through, and your money tied up with no product to show for it.
