Hello Benjamin,
We are sad to see your low review and are very surprised because we strive for excellence in product and service as a tribute to our customers. Please see our responses below:
1) Your strap was shipped from our brand headquarters in the USA the same day you purchased it (Friday), and it arrived to you in Germany just three days later on Monday with live tracking via UPS.
2) Your original Tudor deployant buckle does not fit with the Rubber B Tang Buckle Series strap you purchased because it is not a Classic Series. The OEM Tudor metal bracelet has a deployant clasp that would require some links from your original bracelet to be used in order to connect to a classic rubber strap series. This would look like a Frankenstein creation and would not be up to par with the esthetic beauty of Rubber B values. Therefore, the strap we offer for Tudor BB 58 is a Tang Buckle Series, and this is clear on the product page where you purchased it. We are not sure why you were expecting the strap you purchased to be compatible with your own buckle.
3) Rubber B products are manufactured at the Swiss factory (hence the words "SWISS MADE" in all of our molds and products), and then they are delivered to our brand headquarters in the USA for inspection, pairing, and packaging in order to ensure accuracy and the highest level of customer service. Our Swiss factory is not set up for retail distribution. Also, we do not work with third-party distribution outlets, only due to the complicated nature of our products' compatibility and customer care necessities we place in high priority as a direct-to-consumer brand.
4) Our straps are not made of any silicone. Please take into account that Rubber B straps are 100%. vulcanized rubber and a patented version to be even more high-end. All Rubber B straps are manufactured in the most costly and same top Swiss factory as other independent watch brands you probably are familiar with (Hublot, Omega, Richard Mille, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Patek Philippe, to name a few who manufacture their straps at the RB factory). They sell their straps at much higher price levels than RB, as we wish to meet the needs of a more inclusive audience, and our prices have remained the same for over a decade while production costs have actually increased. Other brands are manufacturing outside of Switzerland, which makes a substantial profit margin for them to take advantage of customers who may not care about origin or pedigree, in sharp contrast to us in so many ways.
In any case, we hope that the long-term quality endurance of your Rubber B strap will bring you the typical experience of other customers over our brand's span - a joy that is purposefully intended for years to come.
Best Wishes,
RB Customer Care
