The saw works great
The saw works great. The rubber shoe at the bottom of the water hose really keeps the blade wet which helps with the cut. With big tiles the water is always going to tend to run off and not get redirected back into the saw reservoir. I have noticed that the two side channels that the aluminium table parts slide in get full of water and then spills over the edge instead of going into the catching reservoir, it seems like there should be some sort of weep hole or something at the end so the water would drain into the water catch.

Llevó desde el 1998 con cortadoras rubi, tres, manuales y dos de agua no tengo queja alguna menos su mantenimiento pero nunca he tenido ningún miramiento por la marca como sabéis que los oficiales de 1° queremos trabajos de 1° pero no sabemos de internet nos dejáis al margen, menos mal que están saliendo otras marcas tengo una de tecnol y puede ser que las cambie todas gracias.

Rubi TX1250 not fit for purpose, No return or refund allowed
Rubi T1250 tile cutter ordered with FFX. First one arrived broke, ordered another and we used within a few days, advertised as “able to combat most of todays porcelains” and suitable for “3-21mm”. I can assure you it’s not. Complained to FFX, a Rubi representative called me and we agreed although a heavy duty tile cutter 20mm porcelain is not its strong point, we broke 7 tiles in a row and I even cut half way deep with a grinder to make sure it wasn’t a scoring issue. FFX then spoke to Rubi and it was decided it shouldn’t be used on 20mm porcelain so no return is allowed or any refund. Quite disappointed in both FFX and Rubi on this occasion so wish to share as now I have to seek guidance with trading standards.

Rubi GSC-200 Pump up Vacuum / Suction Cup
i purchased this manual pump suction cup GSC-200 to help install large format 20mm thick porcelain tiles, the tiles also have an anti slip rating of R11, quite rough in texture. This pump is very very good! i have purchased cheaper ones (£30 odd) before and they only hold for short period.... i had no faith in them. This little pump holds onto the tiles even after i released the pressure! amazing product! 100% recommend, well worth the £80 odd i paid for it.
I will also say I found that adding a little bit of water to the tile make this suction pad even better!
