I tried to contact RWG several times over the last few months, but they NEVER answered any of the emails I sent and it's too time consuming to sit on a phone and wait for someone to answer the call.

To be honest I find it more puzzling than anything else, but either way it's extremely unprofessional.

Issue resolved by Adam at Nowmobile via chat box on their website.

This is a zero star review. They used to be good and support used to answer queries very quickly and helpfully but no longer. I've been having intermittent connections problems with my phone (tested on other phones with the same result) and none of the emails or online support forms have been replied to over a period of months. I phoned today and firstly was connected to someone who could barely speak English and I could understand maybe 1 word in 20. When I tried again I was speaking to either an American or Canadian who assured me firstly that my phone should be set to 2G! Then when I told him I'd troubleshooted the problem by trying the SIM in different phones he told me that's the reason for the intermittent connection problems, I'd 'confused' the SIM by switching.

I suspect they're trying to get rid of all their customers and close down and the connectivity problems and lack of knowledgeable support are all part of a cunning plan to get us to leave in droves.

It's working for me as I'm looking to transfer to a proper grown up provider.

If you have an issue with RWG, contact Now Mobile customer service. They took care of my issue in 5min.

I needed a replacement sim card.
E mail to RWG they never replied. So customer service non existent. I have lost credit.
Moral is to go with a reputable mobile firm.
RWG is to avoid unless you want to lose your money and your mobile phone number.

I would award zero stars but that's not an option.
Took out 3 £30 year long contracts for spare mobiles. These never activated. An uninteligable and unknowedagble call centre told me (falsely) to add £5 credit to activated them.
I cancelled the contract the next day with a promise of a full refund in 3-5 working days.
I have now had to issue an HM Courts money claim as they will not respond.
Avoid!

Rwg was good when we joined them. Been with them maybe a year/year and a half? All good until the last month or so? Lots of issues, unable to make calls/texts half the time until it stopped working completely. It seems rwg are going through changes? Being taken over? But now mobile are dealing with their accounts now. The Rwg customer services no longer works but you can go through to now mobile and they will fix everything. Sorted all my issues. Peter was very quick and efficient. Reinstated the account and everything working as it should. Just use their online chat. We have a year contract so didn't want to change. The contract is working again and everything has been fine.

No customer support available, sim no longer works, billing works (funny how that happens).

Company may be defunct but I can't find any definitive information, the website is still up but their customer numbers are disconnected, emails don't go through and they wont even let me get my PAC code to leave.

Complete scam and a real blemish on Welsh business

I've been with RWG for over 2 years. Up until the last few months I'd been pretty impressed, they offered low cost annual sims which worked (though you didn't get Wifi calling). However things started to go wrong in June of this year with intermittent problems making calls and receiving them regardless of location. Its highly possible this was something to do with the 3G switch off.

Contacting RWG by phone is impossible as no one answers, emailing them you get the auto-response then no reply. Contacting their sim supplier Now-Mobile is only possible through their websites online-bot, which is also utterly pointless.

With limited service and no possible way to resolve the issues on 2 sims I'd already paid for, I requested my PAC and jumped ship. One day later I'm ported over to another network which is functioning perfectly and offers wifi calling.

RWG's latest company financial figures paints a dire picture with over £1.5m in debt, so it wouldn't surprise me if they go under soon. I've read numerous reports of RWG continuing to take monthly payments after people have ported away also which is just shocking.

I'd seriously not recommend this company. They may be cheap, but its not worth it.

They may be cheap but service is awful, account management via web is useless and when you do eventually get through to the offshore call centre the quality of the phone line is so bad you can hardly understand the person on the other end.

I've been with RWG for a couple of years and in the main I've been happy with them. They were the best price for a 5gb plan when I first signed up and have used their paid upfront 12 month plan for a couple of years. The prices have gone up since I first joined and you can now get similar if not better prices elsewhere. I did manage to get replies from customer services on the few times I had an issue, BUT, as you'll find on the other reviews, customer service seems to have really fallen off. So... my complaint - since the 19th May I have had no data with RWG. My texts and calls were working but no data. I've tried using their contact form and also tried emailing but have had nothing back. Zilch. My plan was due to run out on June 10th so I cut my losses and have moved to another provider. I found a deal which was a bit cheaper than RWG for the same amount of data. I would previously have recommended RWG because the prices were good, but unfortunately the absence of customer service is not worth the risk anymore, plus with no difference in price now, I would no longer recommend them. I am rather disappointed in that, as I do like to support smaller companies, but until they improve their customer service I won't be using them again. I've given 2 star rather than 1 as when everything worked it was perfectly fine to use - just don't expect much if you have problems.

Just like a lot of people who recently closed their accounts RWG have continued to take payments and ignore emails or action phone calls. Something funny going on with NOW as they answer when you ring.
In short stopped payments by reporting them as fraudulent to to my Bank.

AVOID this company. My wife & I were both RWG’s monthly plans. We both ported away from RWG to another mobile provider end of February 2025, and cancelled (deleted) our RWG accounts. However, it’s June, and RWG is STILL taking a monthly payment out of both our accounts. I have tried sending their customer service emails, but no replies from them. I have tried calling their customer support number, but no answer.

Decent cheap service. Signed my daughter up. Just called customer service and connected within 10 minutes. Never had an issue with the network connection. Will be moving whole family over.

Fine if you don’t need customer service. Then nothing, niente, nada. No response at all, just like the data package in Europe, nothing, niente nada, no service, none of the data promised. I have cancelled service. Shame, I was keen to support a Welsh company.

After reading those all reviews I am a bit calmer that it's not just me. They obviously getting to the bankruptcy - no costumer service at all, nobody picking the calls, keep charging costumers who left... I am in the process to claim my PAC and money via court very soon as they refusing to provide my PAC.

Good value initially but seem to have turned into or been taken over by scam artists. I got a PAC and moved away from them but they carried on billing me for two months, refused to refund the money, and made me manually log in to their portal to cancel the now non-existent service. Ofcom need to jump all over this company :(

RWG Mobile were fine when I first joined but seem to have stopped answering emails.

The initial problem was an unannounced doubling of my monthly payment (completely against UK Direct Debit rules). I sent many requests for an explanation but didn't get a response.

I recently contacted RWG to check whether a specific destination was covered under the EU roaming add-on. Three emails sent; no reply.

Concerned that I wasn't able to get a response to important questions I've moved to another provider.

Best avoided.
