I ordered a parasol from Patio Life on 25 July 2026 at a cost of £449.10. After a string of e.mails from me asking when delivery would take place I cancelled the order and asked for a refund. They repeatedly offered many excuses for non delivery and small discounts/bribes because of the delay and when I finally rejected all their offers they agreed to the refund. Eventually I did get through by email and asked for an immediately cancellation and refund. 3 weeks later and 20 emails they eventually agreed to cancel my order but then stated they could not refund without bank details (which I sent) then they said it would take longer than normal for my refund as they are doing a bank transfer!!! The website is a pack of lies nothing on the website happens . DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY . I STILL DO NOT HAVE A REFUND .

awful experience. bought a cover and support straps for a parasol, it said fast and free delivery. Paid over £100 for these and straps turn up after 2 weeks 3 weeks later still no cover. no updates nothing. had an email with some BS about stock issues atc and if the order was urgent to let them know. If its not in stock you should say so BEFORE someone purchases it not slip in an email they might not see for a while and hope they dont notice. i sent an email damanding either the item or a refund within 3 days. got an apology letter which will neither fit the parasol or is spendable.

Ordered a parasol, spent more than £400, and never shipped. They came back to me to say it is out of stock. Even when I ordered it said clearly in stock. Said not stock will be available until end of July. Why you get my money if you don't have the item? As an alternative, they offered me the parasol in black or tan, then they will shipped right away. I replied 2 minutes later saying please deliver the black one and then never ever got a reply.... Tracking order it says still getting repaired. Just a joke of company. Stay away from them! BTW, I am in UK, only 2 hours away from London.... That for when you reply the typical....

I have never dealt with a company this disorganised, misleading, and dismissive of customersâ time.
I ordered commercial umbrellas for a major launch event â after double-checking delivery time.
They promised:
2â3 days dispatch + 2â3 days delivery.
It took nearly THREE WEEKS.
The umbrellas did not arrive in time, and we had to completely relocate our event last minute.
Cost to us?

Extreme stress and chaos we should never have had to deal with
Meanwhile, the business kept saying âthanks for your patienceâ instead of telling the truth or fixing anything.
And hereâs the part that really matters for the public:

â¡ïž Their website shows only hand-picked positive reviews
â¡ïž So customers have no visibility into situations like mine before giving them money
That is not transparency â that is controlled reputation management at the customerâs expense.
If you have an event or business deadline, do not rely on this company.
I gave them every chance to do the right thing privately. They didnât.

Ordered a Royce granite base out ofâŠ
Ordered a Royce granite base out of season. There was a bit of a mix up with stock and the dispatcher so, i could get a refund, or wait until spring. I decided to wait since i wasnât desperate. The shipping company has been having some issues, recently, patio-life called me a few times to keep in touch and we got it resolved.
The base was delivered this week and setup lovely.

Communication avoidants
Purchased a bistro set online, received a confirmation email but no delivery date. Emailed 2 days later for an update but had no response after another 2 days, so called 3 times but got an answer machine. Luckily I paid via PayPal so within 10 minutes of me raising a dispute they replied to say the item is out of stock. I had to ask them to refund. Not the quality of customer service that is going to get them a good reputation.
I am still waiting for my refund over a week later.
