my order was lost, I received a partial refund, another order was shipped in late August 26, didnt arrive until 2 days ago. I was worried that I was being scammed, but every email inquiry I sent was answered in a rapid fashion and I was reassured that my order would arrive. I was skeptical but the level of support was above and beyond. and the knives are beautiful.

The knives are exactly what I ordered, they came so beautifully wrapped, making sure nothing would hurt them. They are fantastic knives, I am so glad to get them. I wanted some for a long time, but couldn’t afford them with a growing family and all. When I saw the price that you were selling them at, I had to get them, what a great investment in it was wonderful getting something that’s actually better than advertised.

I don't believe the ad campaign. There is no way some Japanese dude is hand crafting these knives for this price. No way.
I will say that the knives are really sharp and seem to be good. Time will be the true test. Will they sharpen well in the future? Will the handles hold up? We will see.
If you're expecting a set of sharp knives that look nice, you will get that. If you want to tell the made up story of "Hiroshi" to your friends, have fun with it.

Easy ordering, payment, and delivery. Website was excellent with many photos of the knives. The product was as advertised -- sharp blades, design, and quality.

First of all, it was a good buy! - I initially bought the Paring knife as a memory of Sakura-knives Company. But, then, using it I realized that it works well and well made. So, I decided to buy the whole 8 set. I chose Yozora set. They all are beautifily made, just like Japanese sword. Looked like gorgeous gifts. As such, I will cherish theme as long as I live. Good work, Hiroshi, and a Happy Retirement!

The knife feels solid and fits securely in my hand. Very easy to cut all types of vegetables and very easy to clean. Very happy with my purchase! Excellent quality.

Hiroshi puts his customers first. After some difficulties with my local
Post Office not paying attention to my hold mail request while on vacation, they were going to send my knives back to Japan as undeliverable. Hiroshi informed me and helped me resolve the situation. A potential crazy long wait was thankfully avoided due to Hiroshi’s vigilance and concern for his customer. The knives arrived and were beautiful. Exquisite work by a talented craftsman. I am so glad I found Hiroshi and Sakura Knives. They’re my most cherished knives and will find many, many years of use. Thank you Hiroshi!

I've been familiar with Sakura knives for many years, and have heard and read about their excellence in the world of cutlery. I'm a very good cook and enjoy the entire process. Working with high quality instruments, in this case knives, makes an enormous difference. Unfortunately, I was not in position to purchase them in the past because of price constraints, which have now been lifted.
