Sakura Knives レビュー

Wonderful knife definitely a pleasure to work with. The handle could use some texture for a better grip but I can deal with it.
Thank you Hiroshi!!

Knives arrived as advertised, very sharp edge and sharp looking. I wish there was an option for sheathes to protect them in drawers.

I did not receive any information with my knives regarding care or sharpening. Should there have been some information with the knives?

my daughter is over the moon with these and should help her in her culinary journey

The knives are beautiful, and work great, I am pleased with my purchase. Thank you..

These are the sharpest knives I have ever used!
The delivery was great. The packaging was awesum!
But using them is the best!!

the knife blade is good, but it is not perfect. The knife handle has a small crack and it was shipped in just a plastic wrap instead of a box as shown on the web site.

But with the price discount for end of production, I consider it to be acceptable, I wish that it would have been mentioned on the site.

I was a always a fan of Japanese cutlery. The high standards that they keep, is what I was after.
After the first purchase and usage of the first set if knives, I was sold and ordered a second set.
These knives are of high quality and you won't be dissapointed.

The knives are incredibly sharp and balanced. Thanks.

I wanted another chef's knife so I ordered the 8" Takumi series knife. The price and ordering process was quick and easy. It took about 2½ weeks before I received it, probably because it had to clear customs first. The knife itself is well made and very sharp. I thought there would be a little more heft to it but it's lighter than my Zwilling chef knife. But, it's still a very good knife.

To be honest I have not used them yet. I would like to know will the knives will ever need sharpening etc and can use them on a wooden cutting board? That is why I have not used them yet because I am little nervous about using them on a cutting board. They are special to me and I definitely do not want to ruin them.

They are everything I hoped for. Beautifully crafted, water resistant, amazingly easy to handle. They cut through solid vegetables almost like soft cheese or butter. I've recommended them to another family and have purchased a second set as a Christmas gift for someone special. From one artist to another, I can certainly experience and feel the artistic love and care these knives have been created with.

Nicely made, looks magnificent and soft touch gets the job done.

Even though the box that the knives were shipped in had obviously been battered, the knives arrived intact. They are pleasing to look at and are very sharp. They are by a very wide margin the best cooking knives I have ever held.

Upon returning from Japan and visiting a knife store in that country I was highly impressed. When it came time and I saw the article regarding these knives from a man that's been in the business for over 50 years I couldn't help but the jump at it. Since we've had the knife to handle nice, easy to use and even though your hands may be slippery or wet they start firmly in your hand as you're using it. I have every intention of purchasing my daughter and my son-in-law a set of these knives in the near future. I think the quality is excellent clone with the sharpness all in all these knives exceeded my expectation.

Knives are sharp, well balanced and versatile. Was surprised the shipped from China and not the US but they are as advertised.

Beautiful knives

Easy to understand the background of this family business. Easy to place the order I wanted. Kept me up to date on when the order shipped and when it would be delivered. And then there are the knives themself. Quality in every facet of the product.

The knives are like a dream to use. I got them for my husband for our 14th wedding anniversary next month.
He has talked about Sakura knives for a long time. Thank you for your lifetime of work and the beauty you have placed into your creation.

I've only used a couple of the knives so far, but they are great. Very sharp, cuts with ease & looks beautiful. I'm looking forward to using the other knives.
