Salam Mediation
After spending 4 years and 6 months dealing with solicitors and court — and both of us spending hundreds of thousands of pounds — it felt like things would never get resolved. It was exhausting, emotionally and financially, and we honestly couldn’t see a way forward.
Then we found Mr Tawhid ar-Rahman, and everything started to look we can finally believe in someone
In just a few of months of working with Tawhid things finally started to make sense. He really took the time to listen to both of us, helped us understand the process clearly, and made sure we both felt heard and respected. We were able to have honest conversations, focus on what really mattered, and finally bring everything to an end — in a way that felt fair and calm.
We honestly wish we had gone down the mediation route from the start. It would have saved us so much time, stress, and money.

We recently worked with Salem Mediation during a very difficult time in our lives, and we cannot recommend them highly enough. Our mediator was calm, supportive, and always child-focused, ensuring that the needs of our family were kept at the heart of every discussion.
They were extremely knowledgeable, clear, and informative throughout the process, taking the time to listen carefully to both parties and helping us work towards the best possible agreement for everyone involved. Compared to a previous mediator we had used, Salem Mediation offered far greater value for money and a much higher quality of service.
On top of their professionalism, they also went above and beyond by assisting with a technical issue we faced when joining a Zoom session, which made the process run much more smoothly and stress-free.
If you are looking for a mediator who is compassionate, fair, and committed to achieving the right outcome for families, I would wholeheartedly recommend Salem Mediation.

My first mediation process
I found the mediation process quite daunting at first, as it’s never easy heading towards divorce and trying to negotiate with a partner who has a very different view on life and how to raise our children. I was nervous and unsure of what to expect, but this mediator had such a down-to-earth, human approach that immediately put me at ease. He really takes everything into account with genuine care and consideration.
Every case is unique, but I personally felt safe, supported, and comfortable throughout the process. This service has not only helped me through a difficult time but also given me valuable insight into how divorce actually works and how to keep costs down. Divorce is never nice, and the ripple effects are hard, but having someone guide me through the unknown with clarity and compassion made all the difference.
I would definitely recommend this mediation service to anyone facing a similar situation.

It was easy to make contact with Salam…
It was easy to make contact with Salam Mediation through whatsapp. I got a swift response from Mr Tawhid. From the first conversation Mr Tawhid carried himself in a very professional, polite and empathetic way. He listens and helps to frame the conversation in a positive light with the interest of all parties, particularly the children, in mind.
Mr Tawhid was very generous with his time. He allowed for enough time for me to ask all my questions before concluding our meetings.
I also understood that family court law is not stagnant. It is constantly being updated. Mr Tawhid keeps himself up to date with the changes and therefore able to provide up to date information in that regard.
I am very grateful that in my search for family mediation I have met Mr Tawhid. He has been extremely helpful and instrumental in allowing our family to move forward.
