This was an extraordinary experience and is a must for anyone looking for an adventure trip. Very well organised with amazing guides, food and accommodation. It's challenging but you won't be disappointed.

Our seven day Salkantay Trek and Inca Trail expedition far exceeded our expectations - it was amazing in every way! Our tour guide Juan Carlos was absolutely incredible, he looked after us so well and made the whole experience feel personal and unforgettable. The meals throughout the trek were outstanding - our chef Jesus was truly amazing. The meals were delicious, beautifully prepared and presented, a wonderful variety and very generous in portion. We truly couldn't have wished for a better trip. Everything was perfect from start to finish, and it was truly a trip of a lifetime. We have the most amazing memories and can't recommend this experience enough to other travellers.

Our tour guides George and Frank were the best. They make this amazing lifetime experience unique. Every day enjoying different landscaping and challenging at the physical and mentally. The food our chefs were incredible. Im vegan and went all deliciously. I recommend this 100%

Tuvimos la oportunidad de vivir dos días increíbles con Salkantay Trekking y cada momento fue excepcional.

El primer día exploramos el Valle Sagrado, comenzando nuestro recorrido en Chinchero, un pintoresco pueblo conocido por su tradición textil en Perú. Allí, las familias locales nos ofrecieron una demostración de su trabajo artesanal, compartiendo orgullosamente su saber hacer. Además, tuvimos la oportunidad de degustar un té local mientras apreciábamos su hospitalidad. También hubo la opción de adquirir recuerdos únicos directamente de los artesanos.

Durante la jornada visitamos varios templos emblemáticos de la región, incluyendo Ollantaytambo, uno de los sitios más impresionantes del Valle Sagrado. Todo el día se desarrolló de manera perfecta, gracias a un guía muy cercano y atento, que hizo que cada explicación fuera clara y amena. Nuestro grupo de cuatro personas disfrutó de la experiencia en un ambiente muy agradable. El conductor también estuvo excepcional, siempre atento y amable. Al final del día, tuvimos la oportunidad de pasar por una joyería de plata local, una especialidad de la región. El almuerzo estaba incluido y fue un momento cálido y convivial que añadió un valor extra a la jornada.

El segundo día madrugamos para realizar la excursión a las 7 Lagunas del Ausangate. Una vez más, el conductor y nuestro guía, especialmente Pabel, fueron increíbles: acompañando al grupo durante toda la caminata, asegurándose de que todos disfrutáramos de la experiencia al máximo. Tomamos un desayuno antes de iniciar la ruta y durante la caminata Pabel nos fue contando la historia de cada laguna, sus leyendas y su importancia cultural y natural.

Al finalizar la ruta, regresamos a un restaurante para el almuerzo, disfrutando de los sabores locales tras una jornada bajo el sol. Además, tuvimos un tiempo libre para contemplar el paisaje y, para quienes quisieron, disfrutar de los baños termales cercanos.

La organización de ambos días fue impecable: fluida, rápida y muy profesional. Cada detalle estuvo cuidadosamente planificado, lo que permitió disfrutar de la experiencia sin preocupaciones.

John, our horseman, was professional, reliable, and always on time — making sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish.

Felipe, the main chef, and Grimaldo, the assistant chef, blew us away with their delicious meals. Every dish was prepared with care, full of flavor, and truly impressive considering the remote setting.

And then there’s Javier, our tour guide — without a doubt the best guide we’ve ever had. He was professional, personable, and friendly, making the entire journey enjoyable and memorable. He even went above and beyond to set up and capture our proposal perfectly, making it a moment we’ll cherish forever.

The trek to Choquequirao was a well planned well executed experience. We were well fed and taken care of. Our guide Guido was very passionate and informative about the Inka and the flora and fauna of the Andes.

We have been very lucky to do many tours around the world and have to say this was the best elevated by an absolutely outstanding guide Hermo. We chatted to other groups doing the same trip and they all told us how lucky we were to have clearly the best guide. He was very patient with slower members of the group and his knowledge of history and nature was exceptional. He spent time with all members of the group and we felt we left him as a friend. When we arrived at sites he gave us a thorough tour whereas other groups had to go round on their own.
All other aspects of the tour were superb from communication before, to hard working friendly porters and special mention to the chef who we could not believe could make such sensational food in the mountains. We couldn’t rate this tour more highly.

We are so glad we did this trek! Communication was excellent from start to finish, our transportation was safe and comfortable, and our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and fun! The scenery all along this trek is absolutely breathtaking, and I am not talking about the rise in elevation! There are some steep, rocky, and slippery places on the descent, so definitely recommend using poles. The snack and lunch provided was delicious and plentiful. We loved learning about the flora and fauna along the trail, and were amazed by Huchuy Qosqo. It was a much larger archaeological site than we were anticipating, and structures different from other sites we had visited around Cusco. This trek isn’t booked as much as others, and we think people are missing out. Highly recommended!

This company does an amazing job organizing the hike. From transportation to meals to the accommodations, this was an amazing way to experience the Salkantay Trek. Our guide, Angel, was helpful and enthusiastic each day and also gave us information about culture and history along the way.

The whole trek was such an incredible experience and our guide Wilfredo Pitanso made the experience even better. He was knowledgeable and friendly but most importantly made me feel safe the entire trek. The food and accommodations were also great and offered an entirely unique experience.
