Took to long for contact

I purchased this Schwank grill in November 2024, along with the grill cart and cover. My total investment was nearly $2,000, and unfortunately, I now feel it was a complete waste of money.

When the grill worked properly, it cooked excellent steaks. Unfortunately, the problems began within the warranty period. It started with inconsistent grilling and difficulty maintaining consistent cooking results. Then the grill began shutting off during use, even though the gas tank was full. Eventually, the starter stopped igniting altogether.

I contacted Schwank customer service several times while these issues were occurring. I was either ignored or repeatedly told to go through troubleshooting procedures. I followed the troubleshooting steps, but nothing resolved the problems.

I have now been without the use of the grill for several months. For a grill at this price point, that is completely unacceptable.

Another major issue is that the grill's components are very difficult to clean and maintain. For a premium grill, I expected routine cleaning and maintenance to be much easier.

What is especially frustrating is that I made every effort to address these issues while the grill was still within the warranty period. Had my concerns been properly addressed when I first contacted customer service, this situation might have been very different. Instead, the problems continued until the grill became essentially unusable.

Schwank has now offered to waive the parts and labor as a goodwill gesture, which I appreciate. However, I am still being asked to pay $100 for round-trip shipping, and I no longer have the original packaging. More importantly, this does not change the fact that I repeatedly sought assistance while the grill was under warranty and did not receive an effective resolution.

A grill that costs this much should be reliable, well-designed, and built to last. I should not have to spend nearly $2,000 on a grill, cart, and cover only to have it become unusable after a relatively short period of time.
My experience has been extremely disappointing. While this grill cooked great steaks when it worked, reliability matters more than performance when it is working. I would not recommend this grill to anyone looking for a dependable premium grill. At this point, I am seriously considering purchasing a replacement from a different manufacturer.

I unboxed my new expensive toy and was very disappointed to see the back panel damaged / bent inward. I would have expected better, considering the price and marketing. It started as expected right away, so no initial concerns about quality. I am just disappointed it’s a new eyesore right out of the box.

Since last November I have purchased five Schwank grills I have one and have given the other four away. I really enjoy the way they cook everything from eggs to steak to fish to every type of vegetable. I ordered a large table recently with my last grill and as I started putting it together, it had multiple pieces that were bent from the factory and packaged and shipped. It was not damaged during the shipment or delivery. I got a $175 credit simply because I did not want to go through the effort to try to package it back up in the same material that it was sent to me.

So easy to order and makes fantastic pizzas! Love that it rotates while it’s cooking. Cook a pizza in less than 5 mins. Totally recommend!

I had a small mishap during delivery with my Schwank Grill, but it was completely related to transportation and not Schwank themselves. Honestly, the way everything was handled afterward made the experience even better than expected.

The entire process with Schwank was extremely smooth, and my rep Faizan was absolutely amazing to work with. He was responsive, knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was taken care of quickly and correctly. He stayed on top of every detail and made what could’ve been a stressful situation incredibly easy.

The grill itself is phenomenal, and the customer service matched the quality of the product. That’s rare these days. You can really tell Schwank stands behind their customers and their brand.

Easy to order and delivery was fast! The steak is amazing!

Really great experience. I have a two panels that were damaged and need replacing which is why I am only giving 4 stars. Also, the assembly was time consuming, but not impossible. I can imagine for some, it be difficult.

My husband and I were looking for a grill that would heat up to 1500 f. We came across your site on google. We just grilled some T-Bone steaks on it and OMG, it is the absolute best grill yet! It’s like going out to eat at a high dollar steakhouse without leaving home. I just went to your site and purchased the cover and grill table for our grill to take extra care of it.

Easy to order and my cherry cutting board shipped within a few hours. Amazing. I’m happy.
