I purchased a 27k mile used car from Select Trucks that had been taken in part exchange and Keith made the whole experience a pleasure . There was no hard sell , Keith was just there to provide details and answer questions which he did with a down to earth honesty . He let the car sell itself !
Keith was also very fair with the price he gave me for my old car in fact giving me more than i expected .

The car came with the standard 3 months warranty which unfortunately i needed just over a month later when the car developed a misfire . I called Keith who said to drive it over , his mechanic plugged in the diagnostic computer and a coil pack fault was diagnosed . Keith phoned his parts supplier and the part was delivered in 10 mins and 10 mins later i was on my way home . Fantastic no quibble service .
I would recommend Select and Keith with no hesitation .

My son was looking for a mitsubishi l200 and had a set budget. Having messaged Keith a couple of times about different vehicles he asked what I was looking for. Once he knew it made the process of purchasing so much easier. Keith's communication through WhatsApp was great. He answered any questions honestly and as a mum who wanted her son to get a decent vehicle that was hugely appreciated. On viewing we were left to thoroughly inspect the truck and all questions asked were dealt with. Needless to say my son was extremely happy with the mitsubishi l200 Keith had for sale and collected it a couple of weeks ago. Thanks Keith. You were a pleasure to deal with and I would happily recommend you to anyone looking for a truck.

I recently bought a 2004 Ford ranger xlt from selectrucks. Very satisfied. The whole process was very smooth from booking an appointment via WhatsApp to viewing and test drive. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful team. Large variety of pickups and vans to choose from. Would definitely choose selectrucks again.

What a brilliant experience purchasing my vehicle from Keith. With previous experience of pushy dealers trying to take advantage of a single female purchaser, I was delighted to that he took the time to explain all my options and was not pushy at all. We have wanted and been looking for the RIGHT Wrangler for quite some time and came across Select trucks website.
Keith at Select trucks was recommended to us by a number of Jeep Wrangler enthusiasts, for being THE best person and company to help us source the perfect Jeep.

We contacted Keith, and he was amazing from the start.
Very friendly, professional and super helpful, with lots of information, pictures, videos of the Jeep before we visited as we had a long journey to come to view. So we knew beforehand everything we needed to know.

We attended a viewing, test drive etc and Keith was lovely, helpful, knowledgeable and answered any questions/queries we had, with no pressure at all.
We were delighted with the Wrangler and to save us driving back up, keith assisted us with delivery arrangements.

Even after some minor hiccups with our Jeep initially (expected with a 26year old import) Keith at select trucks sorted this promptly, with no hesitation at all to ensure our dream Wrangler is perfect.

We have messaged with Jeep questions, advice on best products to use and updates on our adventures, shows etc and Keith is always happy to help us, and see where the Jeeps been.

Excellent! We have bought and a few sold pick-ups with Selecttrucks, and couldn’t be happier. Good value, completely transparent, knowledgeable, great products and amazing after sales service. We wouldn’t go anywhere else. If you are nervous about buying a second hand pick up, don’t be, just go to Keith at Selecttrucks. They have been in business for years and it shows. I think people buy from all over the country. We have just bought a lovely HiLux.

I've just brought a 2nd truck from Keith, I was so impressed with the range of variety with select trucks I ended up buying something different from what I had in mind, I wanted another L200 and brought a Ford ranger instead, the knowledge from Keith and Chris is brilliant and can'answer any questions you need to know, they go out of their way to help you, I would definitely recommend, great company 👍

I brought a ford ranger from this company but would warn caution to others. Unfortunately the truck I brought has turned out to be unusable and I’m over 10k out of pocket. After first buying the truck it started billowing white smoke from under the bonnet. I called Keith who was great and said don’t worry it’s all under warranty and he will fix it, He arranged to collect the vehicle. After he kept the vehicle for ages, he got back to me and told me that I had run over a plastic bag. I felt quite silly but after I got the vehicle back it started to smoke again, (I checked the exhaust for any bags but nothing was there not even an old bag mark)so I called Keith again and again he collected, after I suggested perhaps it was the filter on the exhaust. He told me he fitted a new dpf filter, I got the truck back again after weeks without a vehicle but felt something was wrong, he reassured me that the truck was really good after I raised my concerns about it. After the truck smoked again but not quite so badly I called again but Chris answered the phone, I told him the problem and he said he would get Keith to call me back ,as I didn’t hear for some time I took to my local garage where they told me it’s likely to be a problem internally with the engine. I sent Keith a message saying that I thought he should just have the truck back or claim on the warranty, to which I recieved the response “steve the warranty period has ended I am unable to help”. I am quite disappointed with this, now when I look through the voice messages Keith has sent through the time of it going back to him multiple times I have noticed he has deleted a couple of the messages . In my opinion I was far to understanding and had the wool pulled over my eyes to keep the warranty running out he also said that Chris no longer works there and he didn’t get told about the ongoing problem.

I recently bought a Suziki Jimney from Select Trucks.
Keith sent me a walk around video and was speedy in his communication - even when he was unwell.
Keith has been entirely honourable and has done everything to his word.
I would buy again from Select Trucks, and recommend.

Well, what can I say, contacted this bloke about a vehicle he was selling and initially he seemed ok.
I live some distance from the dealership so asked for some more detail and if possible a video of the vehicle running with a walk round video.
He said he’d do that for me at the close of the day. He didn’t.

I asked if he’d accept a small holding deposit until I could get down to view it.
He wouldn’t .

I asked if he’d accept could provide the video and subject to their being no issues I’d pay in full and would he hold it for me until I returned from holiday.
He wouldn’t .

He became quite rude, obnoxious, unhelpful.
Told me he wouldn’t do distance sales yet on his website he posts thank yous to his buyers and their locations. Many of whom are further away than I am ???

Told me he won’t do online sales yet advertises stock online .
Told me he’s been buying and selling cars for 30 years and won’t change his ways .

I’m genuinely surprised this bloke does any business with such a terrible attitude.
It’s no wonder his overall standing on trust pilot is 2.9 stars.

To summarise, I contacted him about a vehicle I was interested in.
Asked for some more detail, a little help so I could establish of the vehicle was ok, offered a full settlement and asked I I could pick it up on return from vacation.

His response was rude and he left the chat and blocked me !!!!

Avoid .

I recently bought a 2003 Nissan Navara from Keith at Select Trucks, and the whole experience was genuinely excellent.

For a 23-year-old truck, the condition was seriously impressive - honestly, it was cleaner inside than some brand-new cars I’ve bought from main dealers (yes, Peugeot, I’m looking at you). It’s clear Keith takes real pride in the vehicles he sells.

Keith himself is a great guy - knowledgeable, approachable, and incredibly patient. I went in knowing absolutely nothing about pick-up trucks and was really just buying one as a bit of a toy, but he was more than happy to answer every question without making me feel out of my depth.

There’s zero pressure selling, just straightforward, honest advice. You can tell he only deals in models he trusts to be reliable, which gives you real confidence when buying - especially if, like me, you’re not exactly a truck expert.

All in all, a brilliant experience from start to finish. I’d happily recommend Select Trucks (and Keith in particular) to anyone looking for a solid, well-cared-for pick-up and a really pleasant buying process.

absolutely shocking service. Keith was rude, slow and communicates via whatsapp, deletes his messages and then denies everything thats been said. i wouldn't touch these guys now i've experienced them. i checked the cars reg from the walk around video and it was worrying what came back on the report with regards to 50 percent of MOTs failed due to serious issues. i saved the meesages and screen shots before he tries to deny all knowledge just like in other reviews.

We recently bought a 2005 Ford Ranger from Keith. It is in exceptional condition, as well as being good value. It is a real gem and we have been getting lots of envious glances!
