Great customer service - ordered a television unit that was delivered promptly. unfortunately there was a manufacturers fault with the unit. Natalie from Shabby Chic has been fantastic in dealing with this issue promptly and keeping me informed in the process.

I would use this company in the future and recommend.

Asked a simple question and got a condescending and argumentative response. The customer service agent has a poor attitude and continued to talk apsolute rubbish. I was happy to wait for the item I ordered, but asked if they had any idea on how much longer. Was then referred back to what the website stated “4-6 weeks” well deeer! I was asking for a more specific date if possible and all I got was attitude.

The email they have posted below in response to my review is not the email I received.

4-6 weeks would be now till the end of January, not February.

I ordered on 19th of December.

Their response -

You purchased on the 20th Dec its now the 17th Jan which is 4 week, the beginning of February is 6 weeks. If you would prefer to not wait then we can issue you a refund

My response -

Pretty sure it was the 19th (entered the order confirmation to clarify), but even if it was the 20th, the 31st of January would be 6 weeks, still not Feb.

Their response -

The item is due to us the beginning of February so only a few days after the 31st Jan.

My point was that the item should arrive between the 4-6 week estimate, otherwise it should state 6 weeks+.

I was just shocked that they’d prefer to argue about order dates, what their website stated and my expectations. The only resolution was I can get a refund if I’d prefer not to wait.

I was happy to wait, probably would’ve waited until March if I had to as it wasn’t an expensive item nor was it urgent, just felt that they didn’t really want my custom and I’d prefer to take it elsewhere.

Item arrived damaged... it happens though it shouldn't be a problem to resolve, I was taken aback to be told that it's my fault that the item arrived damaged, and that I myself have to take it up with the courier. Such a negative experience. Customer service is everything, it's not just at the point of sale!

The candelabra I gifted a friend for their new house was fantastic! She can't stop raving about them. Thank you!

One of these was a wedding present which they both loved.
The other was for my son who's just got a dog. He loved it too.
All in all two very happy recipients.

I was looking for a vintage style, pretty bathroom cabinet and this was perfect! The website gave accurate measurements and a clear picture (inside and out). It was carefully packed and arrived in pristine condition. I will use this company again.

I would recommend this internet shop. You can find nice and unusual bits and bobs here that no one else sells. All good quality and good price.

More than 5 stars if I could!!! Would highly recommend. Product fantastic. Packaging fantastic. Post fantastic!!!... Pleasure doing business.
