My first purchase through Shopee and never imagine I got a shocking experience when the items arrived I was told by an Indian man who delivered the items that I cannot open the package to check if they are correct items. His assurance to me if the items are not satisfactory I can call Shopee to settle the issue. I paid him mainly because he was just doing the delivery and any issue of the order will be done by Shopee agent. On inspection of the two pieces of tops one fits but the other is a much smaller size which is ridiculously undersized to fit at all ! I just realise what kind of sale is this.

The chat agents are not helpful and of any use. When a request is raised, nothing is done and they marked the enquiry as solved. I raised requests for the same delivery a few times, each time a different agent responded, and each and every of these agents never bothered to check on the record for past conversation. I ordered a foldable bed from Malaysia on Shopee. It took a quite a while for the item to arrive in Singapore even though Malaysia and Singapore are so close to each other. I was not even inform beforehand about the delivery. The delivery man only informed me about 10 minutes before delivery. The delivery company is SPX Express. I have ordered things from Shopee before. Usually the delivery man will contact the buyer at least one day in advance. Because I am informed about this delivery at the very last minute, I could not arrange for someone at home to collect the item. Because no one is at home to collect the item, he left the item outside the house and left. He Whatsapped me the photos about the delivery. He said that if this was a concern he could return and take the item back. I asked him politely to return and take the item back because I am afraid it would be stolen. I tried to arrange for a re-delivery date. He was very rude and threatened that there was not guarantee of a re-delivery as he had many deliveries to be made. He also said I could go ahead and arrange for a refund. When I returned home, the item is no longer there. This is very disappointing service provided by Shopee. I have lodged a request for refund from Shopee but I am not hopeful. After this experience, I no longer want to buy anything from Shopee and will close my Shopee account eventually. I don't mind paying more for better service and piece of mind.

Ironically the 15 days of no questions asked slogan , shop safely otherwise , refunding three times of your order value not true . It is very confusing when items are shown shipped and delivered when it is not , get ready for a finger fighting battle with their smiling icon online agent . Suddenly your vocabulary and every freaking English language that the teachers have taught you is in Use. Do not try their phone enquiry because they are not there to help you, muted your voice pretending to be sympathetic , listening and the drama of I m losing you⊠can u hear me stuff like that is reality . Triple confirm that , so stupid .. the fact that some local sellers are abusing on the terms and conditions with change of mind , once opened and your privilege of return and refund is void . A lot of time , consumers in Singapore do not have the time to finger war with the agent , gave up which is exactly what they are hoping for . If you chose defects or wrong item delivered option , the approval must be from the seller or the investigating team agent . Dumb shit facts, the mode of status and payment terms can be manipulate then why buy from local online platform ? Unlink your credit card , bank or PayLah account for unnecessary risk .
I bought a set of car wiper blades for my Toyota car and it did not wipe as expected. When reported the matter to shopee with video and photo, within 4 hours got a canceled reply. They don't see or read and examine your point of complaint. All they do is conveniently says seller sent correct item. Appealed and 1 day later got the same answer and recommended to contact seller instead. I had decided to stop buying and deleted the Shopee Apps. Sayonara forever.
A terrible experience with Shopee. I bought a Oppo Reno 12 smartphone on 10 Oct 24. Item shows it was delivered on 11Oct. When i checked my delivery status on 13 Oct, i realized that my phone was not delivered. Reported this case to Shopee on the same day, follow up from Mon to Sat still no update. Simply do not want to refund me the money. Customer Svc was useless, keep saying case under review. I highly recommended not to buy high value items in Shopee.
Too many scammers wasting your time from Indonesia. Check the origin of sellers. If from Indonesia, best to avoid.
Use shoppee for many years, items from Singapore or China would almost 100% reach you on time.
if from malaysia, super slow delivery but okaylah still will reach in 2-3 weeks time.
If from indonesia, let you wait 2 weeks items still not ship out. Then cancel/refund also take their bloody time.

This is a real experience from myself as a seller in Shopee
There are 3 unreasonable things happened in 2 months+ when Shopee enforced me to use their SPX express
First, I requested and appeal to Shopee 5-6 times to switch me back to the previous courier - J&T
I had been used Ninja Van and J&T for the past 3 years and they didnât cause me even a single problem
Shopee enforced me to use their logistic and claim the reason that every sellers will change to SPX express later. I know they are cheating as I clarified with other seller which they are still using other courier.
I appeal 5-6 times and Shopee doesnât care my concern, they donât care I need to to take 1 hour time (go and back) to travel to their nearest drop off point to drop a item. They said they enforced me to use SPX express because they want provide me a better shipping experience
Then 3 things happened in just 2 months+, it is ridiculous and unbelievable!
First, Shopee lost my parcel to a buyer. They are not doing the compensation directly and it took me 2 weeks to complain with them almost every day. I even ask the buyer help to complain together because they just ignore my complaint over the 1 week. After they recognised it was lost, the funny part is they said they need another 2 weeks to process the refund, it is ridiculous! I keep complaint to their manager level, message and call, then they admit it is their fault and refund to me 1-2 days.
Second, SPX express drop off point reject to receive my parcel. It is funny! My parcel is around 45cm x 28cm x 10cm. Just because my parcel is a bit longer in dimension, the shop refused to receive my parcel whereas SPX express doesnât mentioned there is a dimension limit (small parcel) in the shop. I argue with the shop and said want complain to Shopee, then he only said okay. It is very funny, it is a big shop and SPX express seems didnât train their partner for the professionalism.
Third, SPX express didnât want to take any responsibility for the parcel damage during their shipment
I packed the item with bubble sheet and also carton. I packed it nicely to make sure the item protected well because the box is inportant and has a value for display. But SPX logistic damaged the package and buyer requested full refund from me. I complaint to Shopee many turned but it seems whole team canât understand English. I already told them that I donât have photo prior shipment as it is impossible for me to take photo for every package prior shipment. The first staff who serve me said it is okay, no need to provide the photos prior shipment since I donât have, just need to provide the photos after buyer ship back. I did as it is but after that, Shopee everyday (whenever I follow up) said they canât proceed and asked me to send the photo prior shipment. Their attitude in they totally donât want to investigate it and they want me to bear all the damaged myself, I was frustrated after complain more than 30 times to them, finally I only can bear all the lost myself as a seller

SPX Express Pick Up 24th Sept 2024: horrible return policy/protocols, it actually gave a insanely crazy timing of 10am - 8pm to let spx guy picked up but the guy failed to appear within the extremely long timing (only came at almost 840pm!). this is totally insane 1. buyer is the victim here with a defective item, 2. buyer has to sacrifice entire day just to wait for guy to pick up with a ridiculous time range (imagine burning a day's leave...) 3. when contacted shopee agent told me to reschedule! i said NO and the agent transferred me to another agent i was hung for another 15-20mins online again... i was like wat did i just read.... firstly i did not get refunded and still want to trap more of my time n burn leave? i feel shopee is horrible such that its year 2025 soon and they are still so backward, the big players well not perfect but have very gd systems and policies which shopee can learn from or adapt eg. amazon which is very customer-centric (they go harsh on poor sellers n hav metrics n penalties for them, but shopee im not even sure what they r doing). shopee is wasting time, money and resources because they cannot understand where the root of the problem is...
Definitely the worst online shopping platform in Singapore, their shopee express delivery service is horrendous, their guy delivers after 12 midnight then simply use other addresses background to check in that your parcel is delivered on time.
Received a notification from an Indian Delivery man that he left my 4 packages outside my door in the middle of the night (12.26am). But when I woke up in the morning, all my packages were stolen and Shopee refused to refund me the money. Liar, fake & dishonest Company who only want to cheat other people money. All the Indian delivery men who deliver in my area always deliver my packages so late in the night. Agent kept using boiler template without explaining why the return is in unreturnable condition. FYI the box was not touched and only the shipping wrapper is removed and the agents just kept rejecting the return with unreturnable condition reason. Kept asking them for reason and they kept giving the same answer .. it sounds like they are bots or the agents doesn't really understand English??
After paid for my order, seller didn't ship out. When try to contact the seller, it shows that -This shop has been banned / frozen from Shopee-
When I request for cancellation, it says pending seller approval. It make no sense to wait for approval from a banned seller. When contact Shopee customer support, they cannot help anything. Waste of time and money.
Tried to research prices for a laptop to compare different models on the desktop browser but it forced me to use the shopee app which only worked. Tried to fix it by making 3 more accounts and used phone numbers hoping it would work but it never works, even amazon don't do this s"it so is shopee doing this to harvest our data?. I hate this gayass company and hope for their eventual downfall and death.

The lousiest customer service
As a buyer, the customer service is very lousy. They tried to find as many excuses as they can to hide their staff mistake. Two of their staff misleading information lead me to pay extra money to get my items. They drag the case as long as possible until I raise the concern that I want to issue a legal letter to their department to sue them, then they only want to look seriously in my case
As a seller, they forced me to change the logistic to the Shopee express and denied my appeal many times to request to change back to J&T. They donât care the Shopee express drop off point is not convenient to me even I need to spend extra MRT fee and one hour to just reach their drop off point, where J&T express is just nearby my MRT. They refused me to appeal and also the Shopee express drag the longest time as they can to release the money to you, around 2 weeks even the buyers already accepted my order. Other logistic will receive the money within 1 day. Disappointed!
One of the worst platform. Whatever guarantees advertised should not be trusted. I have an orders with five days guaranteed delivery not delivered after 14 days. Seek help from their customer service which does nothing besides saying sorry. Tried to cancel order but was not approve...told to hold on...hit 15 days no delivery then refund...that is what they said. Empty promises made all the way. Try asking for a manager to call u back and u will get the Kenna ignore treatments. They will forever promises to call u back soon...in a while, in an hour, by end of the day.....but NO one will call u. ...they ignore u till u give up..if can give no star....NO star. Worst customer service I ever encounter. Go find a better buying platform
