We have a great experiance with Shurgard Hayes. The manager Mr. Anu is a great person ,very kind & helpful. Excellent storage facility at great price.

I visited Shurgard, Hayes as I needed storage space for next week. The customer advisor, Miss Shahtaj went out of the way to explain to me the detailed process and cost of the storage space they rent... もっと見る
Helpful staff who took time to explain the process clearly. And they called when my allocated storage unit changed so even arriving after the office was closed presented no problems.

terrible experience
Absolutely terrible experience. Shambles Shams was so unhelpful and just not bothered. I’d recommend steering clear; there’s no head office to escalate issues and just seems like no one actually cares. Disgraceful. I’d advise strongly looking at other storage units, totally unhelpful and they don’t really care

Unprofessional and abusive
As a person with mental health issues, it is often challenging to manage your finances. I have a storage unit with Shurgard and they never fail to threaten you with bailiffs when your payment is a couple of days late. This is not what I expected from a professional and respectable company. They will bombard you with emails and text messages everyday from different numbers demanding you pay up or else. Actually there is no or else. One message I got before I paid was Do you want your goods? Be a little sensitive, professional and compassionate to your customers. It does go a long way.

Always top class customer service.
I have been using Shurgada on and off for the last 10 years at various locations in London not once I've experienced a bad treatment.
Hayes in particular they go further to help make your experience a lasting one.

Problems
The reservation part was easy and straightforward. I also had to amend the period for one day and my request was quickly handled by email.
Then the problems began. I first booked from Jan 2nd and then asked to start from Jan 1st. I got confirmation by email and paid for the extra day.
I know the office would be closed, but I got the access code and they said that the unit would be open and my new padlock inside it.
When I got there, the access code didn't work. I called the customer service and they said that there was nothing they could do and I would need to return the next day. So I had to take all my stuff to the hotel and had to hire and pay for the van for another day, which cost me £40 extra.
Back to Shurgard Hayes on Jan 2nd, the access code was not working again. I went to the office and they generated a new one, and I was finally able to enter the building. When I got to my unit (4th floor), not a surprise that the unit was locked and I had to call the office and wait for someone to open it and give me the new padlock.
After all those problems I complained by email and they said that would compensate me for your additional van charge and for the extra day I've paid for. Well... it's been 18 days from their answer and I'm still waiting for the transfer.

Theft and mice infestation at one of…
Theft and mice infestation at the Hayes branch in West London.
Have filed an insurance claim almost 6 months, still nothing, no response from head office.
Avoid at all costs.
