Simply Moving レビュー 

These guys talk a nice game, but they will come unprepared to your move, will always have a self-serving explanation for whatever they are doing incorrectly, you will have a stressful move, they will use your credit card to charge you whatever they want, they will not return your calls. They are dishonest. They charged me an additional $1,000 on my credit card without authorization. I worked with Rock.
DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER !!

Problems:
1. They don't come prepared: They didn't bring the bubble wrap that I paid for, sent only 3 people when the job required 4 people, didn't bring anything to cover the wood floors even though we specifically discussed it in advance, they ran out of boxes, ran out of time and took unpacked stuff down the elevators onto the streets and packed there for hours.
2. They say they are experts in packing expensive things, but they are not: They didn't have any packing materials for expensive mirrors and paintings. They didn't cover the mirrors and paintings in any paper, just packed them directly into flat boxes which didn't even cover them in full. They packed the plasma TV in blanket and put it loosely into an old grungy box. And they charged me extra for this old grungy box because supposedly it was only "loaned" to me.
3. They love to charge your credit card: I called them four times after the move to discuss the number of blankets they will charge me -- because the furniture had to be left in blankets in storage. Extra blankets had to be used for everything because they didn't bring enough packing materials and we didn't have time to unwrap and return blankets. I think this is their way of making additional money. And then they just charged my credit card for an additional $1000 without any breakdown of the amount, including for keeping their grungy box for the TV (which I still don't know how much it cost me..). I called to resolve the matter, but they will keep lying and won't be reasonable.

Good things:
The three moving guys were nice and had good attitude and tried to do their best under the circumstances.

Excellent moving experience. Crew was very professional and did a great job.

The guys were organized and efficient. The place I was moving to had very difficult spaces to work around. The guys moved furniture in that I never thought would fit.

The movers were fast, hard-working, and took good care of my belongings. They worked with my tiny NYC elevator and low ceilings without a single complaint. I would use them again.

Had an awesome experience with Simply Moving NY. The crew was prompt, courteous and, most of all, always had a smile. They worked tirelessly and got the job done quickly, paying close attention to wrapping furniture and bedding. Would definitely recommend them again. Ask for Nelson!

While a little pricier than other movers, the quality was excellent. The movers made sure everything was packed perfectly and did the move in just under an hour.

The movers were on time, early actually, fast, efficient, and got everything done! I asked them to take apart and put together my bed frame, and they did both things in less then an hour. They worked with me on price, and timing, and made sure that the date and time I selected was secure. The price was such a bargain for such great service!

I had the flu the day of my move and wasn't nearly as prepared as I would have liked. The guys were fast, kind and took care of everything. It could have been a disaster, instead they were the best part of my moving experience. Worth every penny.

The movers were fast and efficient, although they arrived 1 hours later than expected. They complained about an unexpected flight of stairs et some extra and started contesting the estimate although I had been told that it was a flat rate based on cubic meter and not the number of boxes or pieces. I chose the self packing steps, they were careful in packing the bed and furniture. Overall good experience, but never pleasant to feel like you need to renegotiate or bargain, or be forced to tip extra ...

The move itself went really smooth and so did the booking. I recommend simply moving to anyone, they were quick and safe with all of my items.

The reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because on the phone during booking AND in an email chain I informed them that my apartment (where I was moving from) had 1 flight of stairs. When the movers came, the first words out of their mouth was "oh you have stairs? that is not included in the quote" so I immediately said that's not really my problem I have proof I told your company and showed him the email. They proceeded to tell me it would be $75 charge. So i gave them some cash (not 75$) to shut them up and keep the move going since I needed them to do the move or else I was screwed. But this was the one unprofessional thing that happened and is the only reason I did not give 5 stars. Sorry but it is not my issue if it is not in the quote when your company CONFIRMED in an email back to me that you knew about the stairs and all is good and confirmed.

Customer service from day 1 was personal, friendly and thorough. Changes to the details on my end were easily dealt with and their information was revised and supplied quickly. Moving crew were friendly, fast, professional and fun. I'd use this business for every move I make and recommend it to all I know.

The team sent to us to load a PackRat really knew their stuff! From the dismantling of furniture, to wrapping it for protection, these guys were real pros. The worked efficiently and packed the pod very skillfully. They were friendly and great to work with.

I had a great experience - movers were very kind and everything went very fast

The Service was great! They arrived on a timely manner and worked fast but also very carefully. They were also really nice and even helped us move a few things into our car. Will definitely re-hire on a future occasion!

We had 3 movers move us in a span of 8 hours from 4pm until 10pm. They scratched up our mirror and very expensive nightstand too. They were incredibly slow and disorganized, seemingly inexperienced.

Move went well, the team was great.
