STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
Very unhappy with Slate & Tell. They have an impressive web site with a great selection of items, but fail to deliver on their promise of 10-14 day for delivery. I ordered a custom ring 35 days ago. Their order status page has never updated since the day I placed the order. They have never contacted me to let me know the status of my order. I sent email requests for status updates three times and only received a reply stating my order will ship very soon. I am highly skeptical of ever receiving my item from Slate & Tell and have just sent them another email to cancel my order and return my money. I have attempted to call them many times, but always get disconnected after transferring to the customer support extension. Definitely stay away from this retailer, the are selling hopes and dreams more than they are selling great products and have the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Horrible company complete liars and I have been fighting with them over a year!!!!! Fake liars terrible service!!! I have been owed a refund for over a year scammers and a complete joke! I have filled with BBB and have hit every platform possible to send reviews. I have also called my legal team at this point I would pay more than the refund to sue them. I have sent roughly 27 emails and have made boatloads of calls this company is TERRIBLE

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I ordered a ring on 03/04/26. I contacted the company on 03/26/26 and was told ‘it will be another week or so before our ring can be shipped’. I requested a cancel and received confirmation stating my refund of over $500 would be on my account in 7 to 10 business days. 12 business days later (no refund), I contacted the company again and was told they attempted to refund me, but it did not go through. They suggested I contact my card company and start a claim. This company is pitiful and should not be in business!

We ordered a ring, and not even after a month, one of the diamonds fell out. I have been trying to contact Slate and tell them, but they have not answered us at all. This is insane considering I spent 3000 and can't get a message back.

We placed our order on 3/10/26 and they charged our card. The order just showed pending for 3 weeks. I called them and the said the order was was canceled and we were being refunded the charges on the card. It is now April 13 and we have made several attempts to get in touch with them and they do not answer and do not return calls. We have yet to receive our money back. In the meantime, the card was hacked and we had several fraudulent charges. I would not recommend them to anyone!

I placed and order back in Feb was suppose to be done in one month cancellled the engagement trip cause it didnt arrive kept getting the same run around from customer service now they habe completely cancelled my order..this company is a scam scam scam

Horrible company. They guaranteed a 20 day shipping on my order over two months later my order was never shipped, I tried to contact them several times regarding an update on my order. They never would respond to calls or emails, when they did respond, They would just say, the gold prices have gone up or they’re having trouble shipping or that my product was in production still. I canceled my order, they confirmed the cancellation and said it would be 7 to 14 days to get my refund, 30 days later still have not received a refund. When they finally did return my email they said that their accounting department is unable to give me my refund and I should contact my credit card company. This company is a fraud and will steal your money.

Terrible my fiance ordered my ring 2 months ago it did not come no tracking number he called they said they would respond in 3 days, today the order cancelled I told him to call his bank and get his money back went to another store got a better ring with an actual delivery date my recommendation don't do it

I am extremely frustrated with my experience with Slate & Tell. I placed an order expecting it to arrive within a week, as promised. However, it has been over 2 months, and I still haven't received my item.
​To make matters worse, after realizing the item wasn't coming, I requested a refund. I am still waiting for my money to be returned. The lack of communication and the failure to meet delivery deadlines is completely unacceptable.
​I would strongly advise others to be cautious before ordering from this site. At this point, they have both my money and the product. Very poor customer service.

**UPDATE**I placed an order with Slate & Tell on January 23rd for $1,041.95. It still has not shipped, and the March 6th shipping deadline passed with no tracking and no communication.

They have completely ignored multiple emails asking for updates or a refund.

Taking over $1,000 from a customer and then refusing to respond is unacceptable. I have now opened a bank dispute for failure to deliver goods paid for.

Do not order from this company. Ever.

Seriously stay as far away as possible from this company of liars and crooks.

*****So after almost zero communication, ignoring multiple emails, the ring just randomly shows up one day with no explanation at all.

And now it gets even worse.

It hasn’t even been a full week since receiving it, and the ring is already changing color underneath. The finish is wearing off and it looks completely different than what was advertised. For something that cost over $1,041.95, this is beyond unacceptable and clearly shows how low-quality this product actually is.

Their ads are completely misleading. What they show you is NOT what you get. They make it look like a high-end, premium product, but in reality it’s cheap, poorly made, and doesn’t even hold up for a few days.

No communication. No accountability. And a product that doesn’t last.

I will be pursuing a full refund and taking further action if necessary.
Avoid this company at all costs.

No customer service wont answer phone calls or emails. While Cristina Loghin Gad and family are in Paris France spending there ill gotten gains.

I ordered a ring at 5 and 3/4. It came at 4.5 and I had it professionally resized, so I KNOW it was wrong. Their customer service,I am Waiting on to call me back. And within a week on of the two stone fell out. I'm mortified it was for my girlfriend. And while she's a good sport , I am not! I am requesting at least some of my money back. It was shoddy workmanship and I really hope they stand by it, because I am truly disappointed.

Have been calling for 4 days, not a single answered phone call. Will be canceling my order through Amex.

Do not order from this company. They will take three weeks to send you the wrong things and then take another three weeks to "fix" it. Save your money and go elsewhere.

TRYING to send it back for a second time. First time was for a loose diamond (main) and now a stone has come completely off. We have owned the ring for less than a year. The return process is nothing short of confusion. I hope the owner burns in hell for eternity.

Omg let me tell you about these people I ordered my engagement ring a month and a half ago and I still haven't received my engagement ring.i had to make different plans and let me tell you that they didn't care that they lie to me about the time n everything

Buy engagement ring for 999 and I try to sell ...just they give me 75$..fake don't buy anything from them..scam..

If I could give a 0 I would. I returned an item and it was received by then 8-4-25. They originally would email me and told me they got it, were working on the credit, etc. that was weeks ago. No one will call me back )I have left multiple voicesmails) and no one will respond to my emails. They owe me $400 and simply refuse to refund me or respond. Do not purchase from this company!!

Slate and Tell is an incredible company! Here’s the story: We ordered a 2ct lab elongated cushion diamond with a paved ring. We needed it within 8 business days. We placed the order and messaged Slate and Tell about the rush. They were incredibly responsive and communicative. The ring arrived on day 7, absolutely stunning! They even messaged us the following day following up with us to make sure it was delivered. The diamond had better clarity and color than promised, and even came with an IGI certificate, beautifully presented. I couldn’t be happier! If you’re looking for an engagement ring, Slate and Tell is definitely the place to go.

I am a recent customer who paid for a engagement ring online almost $3grand may a few weeks before valentines day in hopes of getting by valentines day I paid for expedited delivery 5-7 days well needless to say it didn't come before V day so I waited a few days later and then i decided to call and see where was the order in process they told me it would begin and sure thing 10 days later they begin processing the order. I received it 5-7 days later from the time I called them. i rated them a 3 because of the whole expedited service which was $33 extra dollars and there is nothing expedited about the service at all. no upon receiving the ring I will say it came beautifully packaged ring box inside of a ring box and the ring was extremely beautiful I will give them that much far as quality TBD I'll have to write another review after I finally give it to my girl.
