I used SMP Nutra (Supplement Manufacturing Partner) to manufacture a product for my supplement brand, and the experience was unreliable enough that it contributed directly to my decision to close my business. The process was difficult from the start. The label and compliance stage took round after round of corrections, including an incorrect allergen listing on the supplement facts that I caught myself rather than them. After my labels were received, I was given a lead time of 6 to 8 weeks. That window came and went with no product. For months afterward I had to chase updates repeatedly, and each time I got vague reassurances, references to staff being out, or promises that completion was right around the corner. None of it held, and the order was never delivered. I was left out of inventory for months with no product and no dependable answer on when, or whether, it would arrive. Eventually I chose to shut my business down rather than keep depending on a manufacturer I could not count on. If you run a brand that lives or dies on predictable timelines and accurate work, I would think hard before relying on them, based on my experience.

It has been a pleasure working with SMP Nutra. It is refreshing to work with a professional company that truly knows its industry and values its clients.

The first production batch was completed incredibly fast—much faster than I expected and nearly twice as fast as the timeline originally discussed. I was genuinely impressed by the efficiency of their team.

SMP Nutra has a large team of specialists, and it is clear that everyone understands their role and responsibilities. Communication has been excellent throughout the entire process. The company's managers are always available, respond promptly to questions, and are willing to help solve problems whenever they arise.

If you are looking to save time, money, and unnecessary stress while launching a supplement brand, I highly recommend SMP Nutra. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and production capabilities have exceeded my expectations.

If I could give zero stars I would. Beware of this company. Kept the entire deposit. Waited a year to write this review. Turn over really high at this company for a reason. Do your homework!

I paid approximately $38,000 to SMP Nutra for what was represented to me as a custom formula project for my company, HappyPacs. I was initially expecting approximately 120,000 units as part of the agreement.
We went through four rounds of samples before finally achieving the taste profile I wanted using ingredients I provided and requested. Throughout the process, I was verbally told that this was being developed as a custom formula specifically for my company. Had I wanted a standard private-label product, I could have chosen a much lower-cost option elsewhere.
After payment and sample development, I later learned there was a linked agreement containing terms stating the company retained ownership of the intellectual property/formula. I did not realize this at the time because the terms were accessed through a small hyperlink during the process. When I later requested the formula information, I was told it was considered a “trade secret.”
I then hired an attorney in an attempt to either recover my funds or receive the product/services I believed I had paid for. This matter has now been ongoing for about a year. Despite extensive back-and-forth communication through counsel, I have not received product or a refund. The company stated they incurred costs related to samples and development, but detailed accounting of those costs was never clearly provided to us.
To this day, I have not received a single dollar back, and they have retained the full $38,000.
This review reflects my personal experience. I strongly encourage anyone considering working with this company to thoroughly review every agreement, hyperlink, intellectual property clause, refund term, and ownership provision before sending payment.

Quite possibly the worst communication I’ve had with any supplier. Someone else said the same thing and they bullied that person and I think had the review taken down, but Frank, the company rep, doesn’t respond to emails at all. Just pure laziness. Truly an awful sales rep being that that is his role. The worst communication by far. Avoid this place at all costs.

SMP Nutra are scammers who haven’t delivered my product after 1 year! I was promised delivery in 8-10 weeks, but I still don’t have it. They refuse to refund and have told many lies and caused endless delays. Stay away from this company!

Actually this is not a reveiw. I want to know that Does Amazon accept their invoices or not ?

I have had a remarkable experience with my team at SMP! Both Frank & John have been at my side every step of the way. Whether it was R&D, Formulations, Education- they have proven to be the best. This is a quality team with quality products & service.

I have ordered multiple times and it seemed like the customer service and order turn time steadily got worse. I wrote the first order to being new to working together, but the next failed attempts were definitely on my contact and lead of sales Mike Tripodi and their entire teams lack of attention to detail.

We started our last and final order on December 8th, 2023 and still did not have ready product to ship in early May. This was supposedly a stock product that was on the shelf ready to go. After having well over $10k of deposits tied up for over 5 months, I finally had enough and pulled out.

Please do not trust them with your business needs. Biggest disappointment in the supplement space, I honestly do not see how they are still in business

Their prices and costs are very fair and they have quick turnaround times.

We recently launched a new product, and everyone on the team has been super responsive, professional and helpful. They are the exception to the rule and a pleasure to work with.
We received our samples recently, they look fantastic, better than expected, the bottle, label, sealing, capsules, everything.
