they deleted my 15 year old account for posting about hats that just so happened to be in a dispensary. i hope whoever decided that has disabled kids and have to struggle with it their whole life.

N’importe quoi !!!! Je reçois il y a une semaine un message m’annonçant que j’ai dépassé ma capacité de stockage de mes souvenirs snapchat. J’ai utilisé 19GB sur les 5GB soit disant autorisés. Déjà je n’en ai jamais entendu parlé, ce n’est signalé nul part mais soit.
Avoir dépassé la capacité de mon stockage de 5 à 19GB , c’est déjà énorme comme limite mais d’accord j’ai dépassé. Mais m’envoyer un message il y a une semaine pour me dire que mes souvenirs enregistrés depuis MAI 2021 ne seront plus gardés si je ne supprime pas OU si évidemment je paye.
Mais ça va pas. Encore l’avoir dépassé pourquoi pas mais me dire que mes souvenirs que j’ai enregistré depuis mai 2021 ne seront pas gardés. C’est de l’abus. Insatisfaite au possible.

Horrible, no support, they don’t care about you only your data and money

Ik moet straks gaan betalen om mijn herinneringen op snapchat te behouden. Ik heb daar hele belangrijke herinneringen op staan en als het betaald wordt zou ik die verliezen erg jammer heb jaren gebruikt gemaakt van Snapchat maar wordt dit het einde?

The Snapchat UI has become a frustrating and a manipulative experience. The inconsistent swipe mechanics are a major problem and feel intentionally misleading. It's too easy to swipe up to view a Story or Spotlight video, only to accidentally trigger a subscription to a creator's public profile.
This is especially annoying because a simple swipe-left, which works for dismissing content in other parts of the app, is unreliable for dismissing the subscription prompt. The gestures are not intuitive or consistent, forcing users into a guessing game that often results in an unwanted action. This "accidental" boost in subscriptions is bad for users who have to go through the extra step of manually unsubscribing, and it's a deceptive tactic.
What should be a seamless, simple gesture for navigating content has become a minefield of accidental, unwanted commitments. The design should prioritize the user's intent, not trick them into inflating a creator's subscriber count. Please fix the inconsistent and confusing swipe actions.

Cut it out ! I'm so tired of having to unsubscribe to some weirdo rolling a glass jar down stairs .... or cops assaulting citizens etc.

All you had to do was not be sneaky little counts and make the subscription button an option click overlay after each video but nooooo swipe up to move to next post, ops no wait thats not right coz I've just subscribed to some nobody inflating stats. You're going out your way to inflate stats that investors rely heavily on to decide investing metrics .

We are working on a court case and you will not get away with this malicious practice any longer Snapchat.

It's really one of the worst apps for texting. Only semi-good thing is the filters. Everything else is just unnecessary and only there to either be inefficient or create drama.

When I try to change my phone number to a different one it wont let me and. Temporary disabled cause I tried to many times. The same goes for my email to. This has been happening for almost a year and I kept trying a different email to. I meed those memories.

The support system is completely automated. My account was blocked for something that’s not my fault and I can’t even reach a human being to talk to. Terrible customer service and total disregard for a consumers rights. I’ve filed complaints with every regulatory agency I could think of.

Attention à tous : Snapchat est une catastrophe absolue, une machine à bannir sans raison qui détruit la vie des utilisateurs innocents ! J'ai créé SEPT comptes différents, et à chaque fois, dès que mes anciens abonnés commencent à me suivre à nouveau, PAF ! Compte bloqué, supprimé, volatilisé sans aucune explication. Pas de violation des règles, pas de contenu inapproprié, juste des amis qui veulent discuter en paix. Mais non, Snapchat préfère jouer les dictateurs et nous priver de nos connexions essentielles. C'est du harcèlement pur et simple ! Ils volent vos données, vos souvenirs, et vous laissent dans le vide. Impossible d'échanger avec mes potes sans stress, mes stories disparaissent, mes snaps sont censurés arbitrairement. Et le support ? Un fantôme, zéro réponse, zéro aide. C'est une entreprise frauduleuse qui se moque de ses users, probablement pour booster leurs stats ou cacher des bugs massifs. Boycottez Snapchat, passez à des apps qui respectent les gens ! 1 étoile, et encore, c'est trop généreux.

They blocked my entire account, but they still charge me regularly for advertising. It's the worst company I've ever seen.

Snapchat is a steaming bowl of elephant piss!!! They do not care about any of us who use it. They have designed everything to be as contentious as possible, they engage in sensorship and discrimination, they randomly ban accounts, and Snapchat for the Web is literally an unfinished program.

Diese App ist absolut unterste Schublade! Überwiegend fakes und geistesgestörte Leute dort unterwegs - sogar die Kinder in meiner Nachbarschaft sind erwachsener und haben deutlich mehr Niveau als diese Leute die auf dieser App unterwegs sind! Einfach nur traurig was da los ist! Das seltsame ist, dass auf zahlreiche Meldungen nicht ernsthaft reagiert und somit leider Gottes nichts unternommen wird! Vermutlich, weil die keine Lust haben irgendetwas dagegen zu unternehmen oder weil es denen sch***egal ist! Mir tun einfach nur mal die armen kinder leid die dieses Elend sehen müssen!
Bitte schafft diese App ab, denn gerade diese App hat absolut keine Zukunft und gehört in die Tonne!

please revoke this update immediately! i am not paying to keep my memories from the last two years to satisfy this money hungry app. i am beyond disappointed and upset. i have relied on snapchat as a camera roll in the past due to lack of storage on my old android phones. why are they doing this? all this just for more money. i have been using this app freely for the past 10 years. don’t make people pay for something that was once free.

I love this app. I use this app for taking pictures and I keep my all loving memories in Snapchat. It's filter is excellent

I’ve been a loyal Snapchat user for over 11 years (username: RostonLeS), and I’m extremely disappointed with how my account has been handled recently.
In October 2025, my account was permanently locked after I posted a simple story showing my personal stock purchase on Trading 212. Snapchat flagged it as “fraud,” even though it was entirely legitimate and personal. This isn’t the first time this has happened — in September 2024, my account was also locked in a similar way, but after I appealed, it was manually reviewed and restored because there was clearly no violation.
I’ve always followed Snapchat’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and I’ve never promoted or engaged in any misleading or fraudulent activity. Unfortunately, despite explaining everything clearly and providing proof, I keep receiving template responses that don’t address my situation. It feels like no human is actually reviewing the evidence, and my account — which I’ve had for over a decade — has been unfairly lost to an automated moderation error.
I’m asking Snapchat to escalate my case to their Trust & Safety team for a real, human review. Loyal users shouldn’t lose long-standing accounts because of false flags or bots misreading innocent content.
Snapchat has been an important part of my digital life for years, but this experience has been deeply disappointing. I hope someone at Snapchat sees this and finally steps in to help fix what’s clearly an error.

I asked the suppor that my current threshold is low and how can i increase it according to them it should automatically increase once few successful transactions are made however, i told the support that its been 2months since i been spending why hasnt my threshold been increasd? says you need to spend more to get more threshold with no gurantee. replies were lazy were more like copy paste AI bot replies no coporation just lazy and unhelpful support
