Ads are poping up averywhere, and now a new update where you have to pay for memories to be stored? This is something snaptchat is known for having done for years, why would they remove that feature. Simply ruining the app.

Honestly, Snapchat has become just as bad as the other apps. I used to think it was something people could rely on, but now it feels like all they care about is money. They keep making the experience worse for anyone who can’t afford all the extras. It’d be nice if, for once, something in this world stayed simple and genuinely good.

The first snap memory I ever saved was in 2014 when I was 12 years old, 11 years ago. Since then I have been using Snapchat almost daily to save all of my precious memories of life that I wouldn’t have been able to save without Snapchat. I have since been married, traveled all over the US, welcomed my nieces and nephews, started my dream life and the list continues. I am absolutely enraged and disgusted by how greedy this company is choosing to be after 11 years of changing people’s life’s through allowing them to have their memories so close, and so easily accessible. I hope this company understands how their quick acts of greed will lead to their deserved demise. I highly recommend everyone downloading all of their memories on a hard drive and deleting this disgusting pathetic excuse for a cash grab app off of their phone and never redownload it again. Snapchat I sincerely hope your awful app rots and you genuinely go bankrupt for trying to pull thee most selfish act against real life people that were only trying to make the best out of one of the (then) best app used by all. Absolutely sickening……

Money hungry corporation. Influx of ads and ridiculous premiums for features that used to be free. Hundreds of memories gone for those greedy millionaires. I don’t like it recommend this app at all.

Snapchat plus er en kæmpe scam. Før man køber køber Snapchat plus siger den ikke noget om at man har for mange billeder i sin minder og at der ikke er lagringsplads nok. Men efter du har prøvet Snapchat plus og stopper abonnementet så siger den pludselig at du har alt for mange minder over 10GB for meget men den sagde ikke noget før🤨 scam app

Le site a bloqué mon compte à cause d'une personne dont le pseudo est "plan à 20euros" ce qui ne peut pas être plus clair sur la présence de cette personne sur snapchat, c'est à dire qu'elle est sur ce site pour y trouver des clients car elle se prostitue

Peut on attaquer ce site pour incitation à la prostitution, pour prostitution aggravée car des fois,ce sont même des gamines à partir de 13ans qui le font ou qui vendent des photos nues d'elles ?

Echt een slechte geldklopperij app is het. Voor alles moet je tegenwoordig betalen (ook voor je herinneringen) wat ik echt ONZIN vindt. En snapchat is zo onveilig vind ik voor kinderen. Er staan soms zulke rare en heftige verhalen langs bij verkennen & voor jou. Het zou het beste zijn als iedereen deze app zou verwijderen en snapchat geen mensen meer heeft. Snapchat Do Better. Niet iedereen heeft elke maand geld voor dingen waarvoor je niet hoefde te betalen voor een maand geleden. Jullie snijden jezelf in de vinger.

I’ve used Snapchat for years and trusted them with thousands of my memories, photos, and videos. Now, out of nowhere, they’ve decided to lock them behind a paywall unless I cough up money during a financial crisis when everything is already expensive. It’s unbelievable.

This isn’t an update — it’s exploitation. They encouraged people for years to store everything in Memories, made it seem safe, and then suddenly hit everyone with a storage cap and warnings that their memories could disappear unless they pay. It feels manipulative and greedy, especially when people are struggling just to get by.

These are personal moments, not some optional bonus feature. They know people are emotionally attached to their memories, and they’re using that connection to push subscriptions. It’s disgusting behaviour from a company that clearly prioritises profit over loyalty, trust, and basic respect for the people who built their platform.

And just to make it worse, I’m heavily invested in Snapchat’s stock. Well, not anymore. After this stunt, I’ll be selling the lot. If this is the direction the company is going, I don’t want any part of it — as a user or an investor.

This app has fallen off completely. I have already been bombarded with ads everywhere. Recently it has gotten tk thepoint where the app is hard to use. They are absolutely greedy for money with the snap plus shoving it everywhere and for everything. Now now forcing users to pay for their memories is absolutely outrageous. I refuse to pay every month or lose thousands of pictures dating back nearly ten years. Horrible. Genuinely horrible. I am saving all of my memories and never using the app again. 0/5 stars

Damals war es perfekt durch diesen Memory update wo man etwas zahlen muss ist es eine nutzlose app. Kann man gleich normale Galerie benutzten. Für jüngere ist diese app zurzeit schwer zu benutzen weil die app geld verlangt. Wen man diese Geld dinge abschafft wäre die app wieder wie bei altem und alles friedlich. Diese App zerstört langsam ihren ruf ich glaube wir wechseln alle zu instagram oder SMS.
