Outstanding Care from Start to Finish – Highly Recommended

I travelled from the UK to Sofia Implant Centre for full mouth dental implants, and I can honestly say the entire experience has exceeded every expectation I had.

Travelling abroad for major dental treatment can be daunting, but from my very first enquiry I felt I was in safe hands.

A huge thank you to Chris, who guided me through every stage of the process. From answering countless questions before I travelled to ensuring every detail was organised, he made the whole experience seamless and completely stress-free. His communication was excellent throughout and he genuinely cared that everything went smoothly.

The organisation at Sofia Implant Centre is second to none. Every hotel pick-up was confirmed by text the evening before, and every driver arrived exactly on time. The clinic itself runs with incredible efficiency, with appointments running almost to the minute.

A special thank you to Bobby and Angel, who drove me between my hotel and the clinic each day. They were always punctual, friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. They really helped put me at ease from the very beginning.

Because I have a history of heart disease, the clinic arranged for me to have a cardiology assessment before treatment. Patient safety clearly comes first here. I was taken to a nearby private hospital for the assessment (approximately €100), and Gerald (Gary) was there throughout to guide me and explain everything, making the whole process straightforward and reassuring.

My surgeon, Dr. Rosen Sukolev, was simply outstanding. He is clearly a highly skilled professional who takes enormous pride in his work. His calm and reassuring manner immediately gave me confidence, and throughout the procedure I felt completely safe.

The dental assistants, Anastasia and Toni, deserve enormous praise. They were kind, caring, reassuring and incredibly professional. They constantly checked that I was comfortable and helped me relax throughout the treatment. Their friendly approach made a huge difference.

I would also like to thank Dr. George, who was always approachable, friendly and happy to answer any questions I had. His support throughout my treatment was greatly appreciated.

Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful reception team. They are the first people you meet when you enter the clinic, and they greet every patient with genuine smiles, kindness and warmth. First impressions matter, and they immediately make you feel welcome. They are a real credit to Sofia Implant Centre.

What impressed me most wasn’t just the clinical expertise—it was the people. Every member of staff treated me with kindness, respect and genuine compassion. I never felt rushed, every question was answered, and every stage of my treatment was clearly explained.

To Chris, Bobby, Angel, Gerald (Gary), the reception team, Dr. Rosen Sukolev, Dr. George, Anastasia, Toni and everyone else at Sofia Implant Centre—thank you. You have not only given me a new smile, but also restored my confidence.

This is the best clinic in Europe!

Like everyone else, I had done my research & was seriously contemplating having implants procedure in another country.
However, someone suggested Sofia Implant Centre & I had a good look at them & after five minutes I knew I was going to Bulgaria.

Great communications with Karl (UK Rep) from day one keeping me informed when I required information.
The day came & I arrived at the clinic, introductions carried out & taken for the important X Ray, which identified following a meeting with the surgeons that I was suitable for implants.
Initially, I was hoping for either all 4/6 on both jaws & was informed that all on 6 was appropriate for the upper jaw.
For the lower jaw, eight teeth were in good condition & fair play to them they left them in situ, working around them.
The Surgeon would ground them down & insert two implants either side to assist me when I chew (must admit hadn't even thought about that)
Five minutes later I was being prepped for surgery.
Surgery in the afternoon & then further surgery the next day & all extractions along with implants completed.
Further dentistry & temporary teeth fitted over the next few day's.

The centre offers fantastic patient care by extremely competent surgeons & doctors in a superbly clean clinic.
The attention to detail is very professional, friendly & thorough throughout & I was informed at every stage of the process that was to be carried out.
There is a great team ethos at the centre, from pickup at the hotel on a daily basis, surgery & all the way through to being dropped off at the airport.

I'm more than happy with my temporaries & already looking forward to my return in six months time for my finals.

Bei der Suche über Google nach einer Alternative zu deutschem Zahnersatz und erstklassigen Zahnkliniken hatte ich einiges auszusortieren. Ich musste mich eingehend beschäftigen, da mir hohe kompetenz in der Zahnversorgung wichtig war. Nach einigen Recherchen, vor allem über Bewertungen, negative Bewertungen blieben nur wenige Kliniken übrig. Die Beste schien Sofia Implant Centre ind Sofia zu sein. Trotz intensiver Nachforschung konnten so gut wie keine negativen Bewertungen gefunden werden. Bei den positiven Bewertungen wurde immer wieder der gute Ablauf und die kompetenz der behandelnden Ärzte hinterlegt. Also habe ich eine Mail an die Sofia Implant Cente geschrieben.
Kurze Zeit später setzte sich Herr Kolev mit mir in Verbindung. Er ging auf alle meine Fragen ein und nahm sich sehr viel Zeit für mich. Ein paar Tage später machte ich alles fix.
Da ich viel Angst vor dem Zahnarzt habe, wollte ich auch Dämmerschlaf beim Eingriff. Das war kein Problem. Nach dem 3D Röntgen wurde alles mit mir besprochen. Hat prima geklappt und beide Kiefer wurden auf einen Durchgang mit Implantaten versehen. Im Oberkiefer war ein Knochenaufbau bzw. Sinuslift nochwendig.
In den nächsten Tagen werde ich eine Termin für die 2. Runde machen. Obwohl ich durch den Sinuslift noch leichte Schmerzen habe (1,5 Wochen nach OP) bin ich sehr zufrieden. Ich denke, ich habe die absolut richtige Wahl getroffen. Vor den Patienten vor Ort die man im Hotel kennenlernt, konnte ich ebenfalls keine einzige negative Bemerkung hören. Das macht schon Mut.

When I came here I was very nervous as I had implants in the uk many many years ago but the gums had receded. The implants were visible and didn't look nice.
Kris and his team worked their magic, at Sofia Implant Centre.. they follow EU regulations which is why I came here and not Turkey..
The clinic is amazing it is one of the cleanest clinical implant centres I have seen.
Prices are what they tell you at the start. Thos doesn't chage through your treatment.
I would highly recommend Sofia Implant Centre for anyone wanting the perfect smile..

I can’t praise Sofia Implant centre enough. When I decided to sort my awful teeth out I did a great deal of research and the fact that the centre has a dental practice in the U.K. and it’s great reviews lead to me sending off an enquiry. I was contacted by Kris and from that moment on he made everything so easy for us, from helping with the flights, hotel booking, scheduling the treatment and then answering my endless questions he was fantastic.
On arrival we were met at the airport and taken straight to the clinic for scans. The clinic itself is a thousand times better than any dental surgery we have in the U.K. My partner pays for private dental care and was amazed, each room is cleaner and better equipped than most operating theatres!
After my scan I met with a dental surgeon who informed me that ‘all on 4’ wasn’t possible for me as my teeth were actually too healthy and removing them all would be unethical. We obviously were a bit shocked to say the least, however we were talked through the treatment that I would receive in order to give me a new smile for my daughter’s wedding!
So, 4 extractions, 8 fillings, 1 root canal, lots of filing down and crown placement later I now have an absolutely amazing, natural (no Turkey teeth here) looking smile! For the first time in about 15 years I can actually smile and talk without putting my hand over my mouth!
Lots of happy tears later we were taken to the airport in time for our flight (the whole team worked overtime to get my teeth ready for us to get there on time).
If, like me you’re bombarded with adverts for implants, I can honestly say Sofia Implant centre is second to none and you won’t regret booking. I’ll be back in October for my German zirconium crowns, until then I’ll be smiling happily and proudly as Mother of the bride and actually looking forward to having my photos taken with my wonderful new teeth.

I have been home a month now after my second and final visit, I had all on six top and bottom and honestly couldn't be happier with the result. More importantly the staff are amazing kind and friendly, the dental team are top professionals and although I experienced some discomfort at times I wasn't in any pain and the care and time taken to get my bite right on the final visit was brilliant (weird hearing the drill knowing it wont hurt!). The whole process runs like clockwork from original consultation with Kris the uk rep to hotel bookings and transfers. Special mentions too to Mariella on reception and drivers Angel and Bobby. Even had time to visit old Sofia which is beautiful. I took a long time doing due diligence and made the right decision and highly reccomend the centre. I hope they know the positive impacts they make to peoples lives and good luck if you decide to have treatment, you will be in the safest of hands.

I recently had upper jaw implants done. I was happy with my first visit; the dentists were competent and friendly, the clinic is very modern, they were punctual, as were the reception staff, drivers, and Kris support was great. I hope my second visit will also be positive.

I still cannot believe I have a mouth of beautiful, amazing teeth nearly two years on!! I was years with just a top denture and no bottom one- not a tooth in my head! Years of toothache before that even as a child but Sofia Implant centre fixed me up so fabulously! No ut wasn’t a walk in the park as Im petrified of dentists but they looked after me and were so patient. Kris the rep was lovely; I wish I could name all those who treated me during my 3 visits as I am so utterly grateful to them.
I have never had as much as a twinge since I had my permanent teeth in.
My biggest regret was I wish I had done it sooner.
Trust me, even if you are terrified, its so worth it. Bulgaria is also a beautiful country and the summer is boiling!! THANK YOU ALL SO SO MUCH

I was very positively surprised by this dental clinic from the very beginning.

From start to finish, we were treated in a professional yet very warm and caring way. A special thank you goes to our consultant Kris George Alexander he was always there for us, took a lot of time, and explained everything clearly, from the treatments to the costs. At every step, we felt well informed and in safe hands.

The entire team is incredibly friendly, attentive, and kind. You can immediately tell that they truly work with heart. The atmosphere in the clinic is very pleasant, making you feel comfortable and well taken care of.

I will definitely recommend your clinic as much as possible to friends and family.

Where to start? It's going to be a long one but it needs to be. So much to say.

I was looking for a good implant centre (that wasn't Turkey), and once I was in the algorithm, Sofia Implant Centre kept popping up, but you just don't know what you can trust with ads and pop-ups.

I messaged Kris George (UK consultant) on WhatsApp, back and forth for a while, checked out their FB and Insta and YouTube, read reviews etc, done my due diligence, and when I felt happy, I got back to Kris, set a date and booked flights. Kris sent a list of hotels, I chose one, and Kris went ahead and booked this for me. Kris and I kept in regular contact leading up to my arrival.

I was met promptly at the airport as I came through the exit gate and taken straight to the clinic. I had my 3D scan and from this my treatment plan was prepared with transparent pricing and Kris went through this with me.

I was originally booked for full restoration of both jaws but after examination I was told I could keep 10 bottom teeth and have a single implant on each side at back.
I then had an appointment the same day to have these 10 teeth cleaned like never before!!!!! They felt so good afterwards!
Sofia Implant Centre do not remove teeth unnecessarily, despite it saving me a lot of money!

Day 2 was the biggie. 3 hours of dental surgery. I'm not gonna lie, it was tough, pain-free due to local anaesthetic but obviously you are pulled and tugged, feel pressure and hear the noises. I was lucky to have the very best , Dr Rafid Hussain (Owner and Head Surgeon). Dr Hussain made a change to my treatment plan during the surgery, again another big saving for me.

Day 3 had fitting and adjustments (no top teeth yet, so keeping mask on outdoors).

Day 4 final fitting of my temps.

Back in 6 months for my permanent crowns and my 2 bottom single crowns.

Truth Bomb...I have had no pain or discomfort apart from first evening after surgery. I slept for 3 hours early evening and was already feeling much better when I woke up. I was pretty much pain free when I went back to bed at midnight and slept right through. No swelling either. Maybe I was lucky but I think it's more a testament to the surgical skills and patient care, including the guided surgery (always, always opt and ask for this).

I came to Sofia Implant Centre expecting full restoration of both jaws but they saved 10 of my bottom teeth, this was a big saving, and Dr Hussain changing my plan meant a big refund too.

Sofia Implant Centre puts what's best for their patient above and beyond the cost. This is so refreshing and one of the reasons I would urge you to consider this Centre if you are considering Dental Implants.

On top of all this, the whole place runs like a well oiled machine. So many staff and all so lovely; my Consultant Kris, my 2 personal chauffeurs, reception staff, my surgeon Dr Hussain and all the other dental staff who looked after me for scans, x-rays, cleaning fitting etc (sorry if I've missed anyone).
The clinic is so bright and spotless too.

There have been many tears and hugs before I left the Clinic for the final time today. I am so happy and so glad I put my faith here 🙏 I could not have made a better choice.

Can't wait to come back for Visit 2 in October.

From the very beginning, my experience was very professional, and very well organized. I would especially like to thank Gerald from the planning department for his outstanding assistance. His responsivenes and dedication made a big difference and gave me peace of mind throughout the entire process because I had some troubles throughout my stay in Bulgaria and had to leave back to UK earlier than expected. The clinic managed to provide me with working dates the last moment.

Also, I'd like to express my huge thanks to Dr. Georgi Doychinov. He is a true professional and very highly skilled. I felt I was in very cappable hands, and the level of care and expertise he provided exceeded my expectations!! :)
