From arriving to my final day i was treat so well.... everything was explained in detail and communication was kept up right through the whole procedure putting me at ease

I visited the Sofia Implant Centre last week for the implantation of 2 implants and 5 porcelain crowns. To be honest, I am thoroughly impressed by the complete professionalism of the entire team and their friendly, patient-oriented approach.

From the very first consultation, I was given a detailed treatment plan with a clear, black-and-white description of all the procedures and their exact cost. There are no hidden fees, which is incredibly reassuring. I paid half of the cost during my recent stay in Sofia, and the process was completely transparent.

The care for international patients is outstanding. They even offer private transport from hotels, which is a wonderful touch. A special note on their patient care: every single patient, including the local Bulgarian patients, is guided through the entire process "by the hand" – everything is clearly explained and organized for you.

So far, after 4 days of visits, I have 2 implants placed and one crown mounted. The rest of the work will be completed in about 6 months after the implants have integrated with the bone, which will be my final visit.

A small piece of advice for fellow international patients: Why not turn your trip to Sofia into a fascinating city break? The clinic is located near a metro station. Public transport in the city is excellent and very affordable, with all announcements made in both Bulgarian and English. Sofia is a captivating and one of the safest capital cities in Europe, with so much to see and explore. Be sure to try the delicious local cuisine and the exceptionally good Bulgarian wines! (Unless, of course, the clinic prescribes antibiotics – then the wine is off the menu 😄, but the city is still absolutely worth it!).

I wholeheartedly recommend Sofia Implant Centre to everyone. In fact, I've already recommended it to many of my friends and colleagues right after returning home. I'm already looking forward to my final visit!

Wonderful professional people, top-notch care, I highly recommend them

I couldn’t praise the Sofia Implant Centre highly enough. Given the type of surgery and the cost involved, you have to do your research to make sure you choose the best option.

I was impressed when I initially contacted the centre and spoke to Kris, he gave me a full overview of what I was likely to need doing, and the process and cost, providing me with all the information necessary. I did enquire with other clinics in other countries, but came back to Kris in the end. What I liked was that he wasn’t a pushy salesman and gave me the headspace to decide what was right for me.

The centre arranged everything, and confirmed my appointment as soon as I had booked my flights. The Metropolitan Hotel Sofia was fantastic and reasonably priced due to a discount with the Implant Centre.

The day after arriving, I was met at the hotel by one of their drivers who take and you to and from each appointment. On day one, I had 3D scans, a meeting to discuss my treatment plan and then once agreed, a meeting to discuss the financial side of things. Once agreed, I returned for a clean and descale and was booked in for surgery and for the implants the next day.

Whilst the surgery was pretty invasive, I can honestly say, it was pretty much pain free and other than some swelling, it was a relatively stress free experience, not what I am used to in my home country. The next couple of days were spent having measurements and impressions taken before having my temporary crowns etc fitted ahead of the zirconia ones which will be fitted in 9 months time after osteo assimilation.

Everything from the sales consultancy, to the dentists, the nurses, the drivers and the receptionists has been 100%. If you are thinking about taking the plunge, do it!

The attention to the needs of the client was second to none from arrival at the airport to the transfer back to the airport at the end
The dental staff were clear and concise as to what they were doing and what could be expected afterwards the breakdown of charges was clear and no unexpected charges were levied the whole process from start to finish was painless on every level I would recommend it to anyone requiring dental treatment in fact I have recommended my brother

Arrived Monday the 27th of October my dad was very nervous 😬 we got picked up from the airport and taken straight to the clinic where he received his plan. On the Tuesday we were taken to the private hospital to have a heart scan and blood test as dad wanted sedation as he’s so scared! All teeth removed Wednesday where he didn’t even feel or see anything as was sedated Thursday check up. Friday before we left temporary teeth out in until permanent ones put in next year. Experience was 10/10 the staff were fantastic. Kris was amazing. Reception staff were lovely. Would recommend 💯 my dad has gone from anxious wouldn’t smile to looking 10 years younger and a new man! Really professional service. So pleased with my dental treatment, but also how honest and clear the transaction was. The price was explained and didn't change. There was help offered with hotels and other transport. We were driven from and back to the hotel for appointments. The drivers were friendly and helpful. Dentist was super and there was no pain. Reception staff efficient and pleasant. There was also a contact person who you could contact about any issues. Highly recommended.😁

Had my implants done by big team of professionals. 3 different doctors been doing their job well,same as management's team been helping with transfers to and back from clinic. Been full supply of medication. They did very well. Just remember,that any surgery is not so easy for yourself and be ready ( especialy on food. Take blender with you.)

They knew exactly how to address all the problems and gave me answers that other dentists had missed which will now help me to care for my teeth better in the future. From the day I arrived to the day I left with my permanent teeth Sofia implant Centre has been professional and efficient. When we met Kris, our agent, he set out clearly the steps to the process. All staff, from the receptionist to the doctors and technicians, were professional and excellent in their field of work. Each one clear on the job in hand and I was impressed with the attention to detail and precision. I came here because I needed a better quality of life, I needed teeth that looked natural and not ‘turkey teeth’. Be prepared to wait for your teeth as this clinic wants only the best for you. Nachdem ich eine lange Zeit auf der Suche nach einer bezahlbaren Alternative zu deutschem Zahnersatz gesucht habe, bin ich auf Sofia Implant gestoßen. Ich habe mich über die Website angemeldet und kurze Zeit später einen Rückruf von Dr Kolev erhalten, der mich ausführlich beraten hat.

Ich habe einen Termin im Implant Center vereinbahrt, immer noch mit einem etwas komischen Gefühl im Magen was mich erwartet. Ich bin am Vortag angereist und mit dem Taxi ins Hotel gefahren, auch hier hat mir Dr Kolev Ratschläge gegeben, welches Taxi ich nehmen soll, um nicht übers Ohr gehauen zu werden.

Der erste Tag ist für die Voruntersuchung, wird man entweder mit dem eigenen Fahrdienst oder einem bestellten Taxi, das auf Kosten des Implant Centers geht, zum vereinbarten Termin abgeholt. Die Anmeldung ist absolut unkompliziert, da die Damen sehr gutes Deutsch sprechen und nicht wundern, man wird grundsätzlich in der ganzen Klinik mit dem Vornamen angesprochen. Die kurz darauffolgende Untersuchung ist umfangreich aber sehr flott, alles durchgetaktet und sehr professionell.

Nachdem der Heil- und Kostenplan erstellt ist wird detailliert besprochen was zu machen ist und nach meinem OK der weitere Ablauf besprochen.
Ich habe mich für die All in 4 und all in 6 Variante entschieden, wie es auch vorgeschlagen wurde.

Am zweiten Tag, die Damen an der Info kennen einen schon mit Vornamen, ging es dann mit dem Oberkiefer los. Nach knapp mehr als einer Stunde war es mit Implantaten erledigt, komplett schmerzfrei.
Der dritte Tag war der Unterkiefer dran, da mehr Aufwand bestand, dauerte es 1,5 Stunden, aber ebenfalls schmerzfrei.
Am vierten Tag wurden die provisorischen Zähne das erste Mal eingesetzt und angepasst. Kleine Korrekturen wurden noch durchgeführt und so konnte ich am fünften Tag meine, erstmal für ein halbes Jahr, endgültigen Zähne eingesetzt bekommen.
Auch während der Woche wurde durch Dr Kolev immer wieder nachgefragt ob alles OK ist.

Alles in allem habe ich diesen Schritt zu keinem Zeitpunkt bereut. Fünf Sterne sind zu wenig.
Ich möchte mich nochmals beim kompletten Team, das mich betreut hat, aufs herzlichste bedanken.

If you’ve got any concerns about going abroad for dental treatment Sofia Implant Centre is the place for you. Fantastic professional service from your first point of contact to the taxi that picks you up to take you to the airport to go home.
My treatment was nearly 60% cheaper here than I was quoted in the UK and this includes flights and hotel costs.
The clinic is a state of the art facility and everyone who works there is so friendly and professional. From the ladies at the reception desk to the dental nurses and dentists they really put you at ease.
I’m so pleased with the results of my procedure I’ve got no hesitation in recommending this clinic.

Nervous start didn’t know what to expect. Was calmed down by professional people who just knew what to say. And I wasn’t disappointed. I’m 60 years old and spent a lot of time in the dentist with varied degrees of success but Sofia implants are a different level of quality totally spotless environment with just the best practice and dentists quality.

The clinic is amazing, very clean and really good equipment. The staff are very friendly and helpful and very concerned for the welfare of their patients
I had a fairly extreme bruising experience which is a normal reaction for myself but was treated with kindness and concern and given medications to help with this. I look forward to my next visit in April 2026

After speaking to friends which attended sofia implant I took the courage and contacted Kris.
His expertise and knowledge blew me away.
He kept in touch and replied pretty straight away with any questions I had.
We got to the clinic on Monday only to be told they weren't happy that I had only stopped certain medication for a few days ,so I was taken to a private hospital seen cardiologist and told I needed 7 clear days before I could have my teeth out, you could understand how upset I was ,but they were so professional they could have gone ahead and taken my money but no.
So my husband decided to have his done and I would come back again.
From our pick up drivers Bobby and sorry forgot other gentleman's name they were fab always waiting for us and so professional and friendly ,to the girls on the desk ,always keeping us informed ,brilliant ,then the nurses, dentists, even where they show you the teeth being made to the 3d scan lady, so professional, always smiling and happy to help.
We went back and for for few days and they kept us informed as and when things would be happening.
We have since been back for my teeth and have been absolutely looked after, .
What a team you have you should all be proud of such a service you are giving and making the impossible happen.
You have done such a fabulous job and made us both smile with pride, we can't thank you enough and have made friends along the way.
