I’ve ordered 2 sofas, Leanne was so helpful, honest and lovely. Leanne is the kind of person who should be promoted, she’s not pushy or in your face. She gives her honest opinion and doesn’t try to push a sale on you by telling you what you want to hear. She has character and personality & can also laugh with you. She is a credit to the company. Excellent customer service from Maria and Gemma at the Salford store. They were both friendly, helpful, and professional. A real credit to the team!

First thing we noticed was how staff said hello and that was all. Shortly after, a member of staff came over and said “Don’t worry, we won’t follow you around the store, just ask if you need help with anything” which was great! We felt no pressure.

We saw a sofa we liked and the gentleman who spoke to us came over and introduced himself. His name was Happy and asked us what we were looking for from a sofa. He listened and showed us things that met our needs and we then changed to an even better sofa.

Happy went through all the customisation and payment methods. He was such a nice and helpful man! It was an absolute pleasure to shop here hassle free! Highly recommend!

I bought my sofa after seeing and liking the showroom model, but when it was delivered, the colour looked noticeably different in my home and also appeared different from the fabric sample. I was disappointed that the potential variation in this flecked fabric was not clearly explained when I purchased it and I believe my sofa ‘s colour is different shade to the sample the customer service later sent to me.
I tried to get use to it and accessories it but none worked. After 3 weeks receiving it, I contacted Sofology hoping for an exchange. The sofa is virtually unused with its original tags on and in new condition, and I was even willing to pay the reselection fee. Unfortunately, I was given different information by customer service about whether a 25% or 30% fee would allow an exchange, only to be told by management that no exchange was possible. There is no way to appeal and it was final. The only route is go through a legal claim.

As a long-standing Sofology customer, I expected much better customer service and goodwill. I am extremely disappointed and, after this experience, I would not buy from Sofology again. And I would not recommend this company to anyone.

*Now I received a reply from Sofology that because the sofa was in my house for 3 weeks before I contacted them they can not offer exchange . That is completely different to what I was told by their customer service again! Inconsistent replies do not give any consumers confidence to trade with them.*

The salesman put the wrong colour for the wood accents, told us we could not have different colour pillow, chose the wrong colour for our sofa and lied about the delivery time. When I spoke to the manager to solve these issues I was told we could change pillow colour and that the delivery time is 11 weeks, not 5 weeks. So as you can imagine, another 6 weeks without a sofa is quite inconvenient. All I got was £65 off the £130 delivery fee. Considering the sofa costs almost £3000, you would have thought delivery would have been included. I don’t think they did a single thing right.
