The Solstice facility located in Irving,Tx was an home like environment for our family member. We needed something other than a mental hospital. The daily program helped so much because it was organized and detailed. The clinical team helped to provide support and compassion with communication. We would highly recommend this facility to others.

Highly recommend Solstice Southwest! The structured and well thought out environment, approach, and experience was very beneficial for our son as well as for our entire family. We appreciated their communication and followup as well as their encouragement and caring ways towards us all.

I have a family member here and is receiving lots of nurse help and is recovering very well.

They were not able to get a patient stabilized in 30 days. Medication is not their forte. The caseworker, Tina was great but no help with the others on the team. Britten D has it wrong. It was the patient that had allergic reactions not the family to several medications that Solstice provided and never alerted Brown Pharmacy or me. It was the facility repeating the same medication for over a month from another facility that did not work. In fact, Tina she has seen success with Invega which was mention at the beginning of treatment but never used. The patient never sees a psychiatrist only a PA (not a doctor). The program is good for therapy and coping with life skills but not providing medication to stabilize patients with psychosis and medication resistance. They can continue care that has already been established and this has been experience with others under the Solstice care. Solstice also has never addressed the suicide attempt with a pen to the wrist and a smashed ring that had to be cut off by an employee 2 days before discharge. She also chipped her front tooth trying to get the ring off before it was removed by the employee. This attempt was provided to me by her and other mental health facilities after discharge. I would hesitate to admit a family member to this facility with psychosis or difficult chronic mental illness. The family therapy (co-dependencies and boundaries) was not the priority and did not help supporting a patient with psychosis. We did attend the family therapy using the techniques provided but she could not relate as she still had delusions and not able to process reality. This is resulted in her shutting down and wanting to go back to a mental hospital for help on two different occasions in the last two months. This has been going on since Oct 28, 2025 with no results or progress. Treatment as to be for 21 to 30 days before PHP. She was in the program from 11/26/2025 to 12/20/2025 with no change and not able to proceed to PHP. Patient left program early because the lack of medication stabilization. She wanted to go to a facility due to limited insurance and get medication for psychosis.

Very nice place with great staff, would recommend to anyone facing mental health issues. I learned about cognitive flexibility, personal care, and community integration. Sam and Gabe were excellent case managers. Kara, Shirley, Alci and miss O were spectacular aides that assisted me with my day to day. I learned coping strategies to help with my ailments and I have finally been put on the correct medication.

As a recent patient that successfully graduated the program here at Solstice Southwest, I can confidently say that I received quality care and treatment for a mood disorder and anxiety. The four stages I went through in treatment at SSW weren't exactly "a breeze," especially when I was stabilizing on medication and working on emotionally regulating my feelings throughout the day. Residential care was probably the most uncomfortable but most important parts of my treatment at Solstice because I had nothing but time to work on my mental health and my new coping skills, such as Mindfulness, Grounding Techniques, CBT exercises, Time Management, and DBT skills. The joy that you will feel though when completing this program at whatever stage it maybe is SO WORTH the temporary discomfort you will face in the long run! I worked with both Case Managers, Sam and Gabe, and they both have your best interest at heart. They not only helped me restore my confidence in myself, but helped me create stronger, healthier relationships with myself, my family and my peers. Narges and her team are truly wonderful people who have a passion for what they do and a caring heart. Mrs. Shirley is the dietitian on duty at SSW and she handles all the dietary restrictions if you have any. The work on myself doesn't stop here and I am forever grateful for Solstice helping me start the long term care I took time to get for myself!

The staff from the moment I walked in had been nothing but caring. They have a lot of key players there to help you get through what ever it is that you maybe going through. Of course it was very scary especially those first few nights/week but one of the staffers just really helped me feel safe and comfortable, I knew Ms. Kara would be there if I needed something and my case manager Sam wasn't available. Everyone is giving a case manager that works closely with you, other staff and Brianna who helps to get your medications where they need to be. You have weekly check in for treatment plans, ask you how are things going, if there is anything different that you feel needs to be done. They work on CBT, DBT, coping skills, boundaries just to name a few. Boundaries seemed to be everyone's biggest struggle,they knew what they needed to do but how to make sure they stuck to it was the hard part, so we worked on boundaries a lot. Coping skills really helped me and I found out I am a very tactile person when it comes to bringing me back to reality. Meaning, my shoes need to be off, no socks and touching the ground. I also found out that there was a little it more going on with than I thought when I went in there. It is mainly mental health care, but they do do other care as well.

They have helped me cope with my ptsd and are open to compromise all the time and good with getting me on the right medication. Highly recommended

This company is a gem. I mean it! Everything is down to the detail and very organized. They have wireless internet and great food. The staff is hands down amazing. This is the best inpatient facility I have ever been admitted to. Professionalism is not out the window here and the classes are not overrated. What I mean is all patients receive great care. They can help you with your diagnosis, medications, and coping skills. Really, really great. I am impressed and not at all disappointed with my stay here. I will certainly miss it when I leave. I hope you will check it out and give it a chance!

I can't thank Solstice enough for providing care to my son when all other options were exhausted! I am a social worker with over 15 yrs experience who never imagined I would need help. Unfortunately my 20 yr old had a need for a high level of care after 3 hospitalizations. At the 2nd week inpatient I started to see my son return to baseline. I appreciate the tough love that got my son on the right path. A year later he is still doing well! I appreciate them checking on him and our family as a whole post crisis. I highly recommend!

Miss Sam was great with me. I could be honest with her when we talked. She helped me get over a lot of my anxieties for the accident but I still need a little bit more help working out my other anxieties like claustrophobia. I would recommend Miss Sam to everybody.
She was very kind and patient with me. Over all experience at solstice was wonderful and was able to get great help. Highly recommend.

What made this great was the personalized and individualized care and most of all the caring staff and excellent communication between staff and family members they truly make the patient feel safe and at home.Also it is very comforting for family to know they are in such great hands!

Solstice southwest is one of the amazing place where people can work on their mental health. They have unique programs like residential, partial hospitalization and in and out patient. They do provide great services and have an amazing staff which can help each individual. Solstice southwest gives families hope and brings trust in healing. I have also seen patients graduating with smiles and believing in them self.
